Trajedie's head jerked around as she noticed the others in the inn/ bar getting up weapons and moving outside. It appeared as though there was some danger. That meant it was time for her to disappear. She hurried up to her room and grabbed her dagger before moving back outside. She stuck to the shadows, staying out of sight of the others from inside, but also avoiding any other danger as well. She looked around for a good hiding place with a vantage point. She wanted to see what was going to happen. She spotted a tree nearby ((A different one than the one with the runic carvings)). She ran over and climbed it, getting herself out onto a branch where she could jump down easily if it was required.

"Ignorance is bliss when it comes to magic mate. All I know is it's a good weapon to help eradicate itself, which suits me fine. What doesn't suit me fine is the huge spike in magic nearby. If it's something bad I'm certain that we'll have no chance of stopping any force without prior planning." He held out a hand, and paused, turning to his two unlikely companions. It was vital they understood his previous experience and followed his lead, in case the essence was malignant. "
"I'm not usually the one ordering people about, but at least hear me out. I've been in situations like this before.." Draxis said, looking down, somewhat unsure of himself. Yes, he had been in situations with huge amounts of magical essence, but none so large as this...And in those cases he had been backed up by a band of expert Templars- though he had no need to add these details.
"In the hypothetical situation that this source of magic turns out to be a powerful mage, or a magical beast, our primary concern'll be to lead it away from this village in an attempt to limit damage. If we can draw it out to uninhabited areas, there'll be chance of people'll getting hurt."

(( Keep your actions down to a minimum, I know it's boring to wait, fx you don't know how big this magic is, as I've not told you, I've only told you that you felt magic nearby, and running outside you can't be certain that the streets aren't filled with orcs.. ok? I'll do my best to keep the flow going ))
The magic seems to grow stronger, and all of a sudden a woman's scream of terror fills the night. Right away the wood elves are aware of where the scream came from, while the rest are still trying to make out in which direction it was. It came from a street close to the inn.
Those who have gone to sleep wakes as they hear the scream.
(( Let me know what you do, and in what directions you go, if you decide to go anywhere. You may not find the woman just yet. From this point you should make one post and wait for my reply, as this part will require lots of actions. ))

Iodren's head shot up from his nightmaric dreams. The pallable feel of magic close at hand startled him. He should have been able to feel it build, even in his horrible dreams. He gathered his sword from the corner beside his bed and unsheathed it. He moved from the bed to the hallway outside his room. He quietly moved down the stairs trying to be as silent as possible. As he started out the door he nearly bumped into the other three standing nearby. "Guess 'ta magick in the air, is pretty strong 'ay?" He said listening carefully. He quickly noted the gleaming symbol's on a sword of one of the three.
"Are we about ta go or not?" He said guessing this trio was about to go toward the scream. He called to mind a spell to mind, and began steeling himself for a swordspell. He would until things became hairy before he went as far as bringing a magical shield into being. He also didn't want to alert the others to his abilities. "Quite a bit o' magic here no?" He asked trying to gauge it's strength.

Air'gen's head felt although something was trying to scratch its way out, she loudly swore in elvish before letting out a scream. As soon as the other scream had stopped she was running, she only had a vague direction in her head but it was enough. "Stay quite" she hissed as she passed the men, in the next ten seconds she was standing on top off a building several meters away bow pointing east.

Draxis heard the scream, a look of alertness on his face. Hastily he dispelled the tracking spell on his sword, and unsheathed its partner. There would be no time to plan anything then, it seemed. Air'gen had already gone ahead, and was on a building above them, she must have had a better idea to the source of the magic. The best idea for now would be to follow her. Quickly, Draxis drove his sword into a nearby tree, before aiming the next a little higher. Using this he steadily ascended, until he reached a sturdy branch. Once there it was a simple leap until he had caught up with Air'gen, and set off to the east in a speedy manner.

Jayrus would advance, the smile gone from his face, replaced with a mix of seriousness and discomfort as the white noise increased in his ears for a moment. Unlike the other two, he didn't possess any methods of gaining height. Instead, he stays low, keeping to the shadows of the building they were on, mouthing to himself ''Oh sure, leave me on my own.''

The woman's scream ended abruptly, and was reaplaced by a sound that reminded of armoured soldiers running through the street, but it couldn't be the town's guards, there were too many. At the end of the street several armoured humanoids came running and ran in every directions. (( It's time to battle, but again keep actions to a minimum.. 5 posts east should be sufficient for now. Remember that it's your decision, whether you want to battle or not, but entering new areas, you should wait for my reply. Here's some OOC info, not something your character know IC yet. These humanoids are actually animated amours, they will gather themselves once destroyed, but cannot repair their own armour. Magic is more sufficient against them. It takes some time for them to gather themselves. Have fun smile ))

Air swore again "Here they come" she shouted firing an arrow strait through one of the important looking ones helmets. "They're not mortal" she said as the helmet came clean off "Smash 'em or find the source," she said firing more arrows into there limbs.

Draxis kept pushing forward, before stopping on a roof. What was below him made him freeze in horror. They were human in stature, but their entire bodies were covered in armour. Something about them seemed less than human, something far darker. Quickly, he knew that his sole purpose was to defend the village, but his body refused to act. Next to him Air'gen was quick to battle, her arrows piercing their bodies. With force, Draxis leapt forward, aiming a quick slice at the creature. It did little but dent the armour, but the creature stumbled back slightly. Another swung with his fist at Draxis from behind, who was quick to crouch low. The fist connected directly with the other's helmet, the force knocking him to the floor.
"These things don't move like a human- almost manufactured. Must be the source of the magic, right?! If we can find the direct source, I might be able t'nullify it!" It was a bare faced lie, of course, but it seemed that it could make a slight difference. If only he had his other two swords...

Jayrus would step forward and begin to play, his fingers moving fluidly over the strings, a simple yet catchy tune adding a bizarre theme to the battle. Roughly 5 seconds after he started playing, he swiftly moves the Lute to rest on his shoudler, the neck pointing at one of the armours, as a fireball forms suddenly from the end, launching from the Lute and colliding with it's intended target. He would immediatly place the Lute back down to a playing posistion, and play a different tune.

"STAY TOGETHER MEN!" a human in a medium armour came running followed by 10-20 other soldiers. They entered the battle, but the enemy moved faster than what would seem normal in such an armour.
All of a sudden a bright green light appeared behind the soldiers, and a great tree suddenly started moving, the glow dissapeared, but the tree kept walking with slow heavy steps towards the enemy soldiers.
