The attitude of which Colleen met her partner was both bitter and childish. She wanted to work alone, yet she was now forced to partner up with some unusual Pokémon that she had never had the opportunity to meet before. “So I guess I should at least know the name of the Pokémon I’ve been stuck with, so speak up, whom-are-you?” The timid Pokémon covered its face with his hands before speaking in broken words. “I-Ian. I’m a Tyrogue.” Ian’s eyes began to water as he looked to the ground. His life hadn’t actually led up to this point, but that’s a different story from the one that is being told now. “Lian? Well, I’m Colleen. Hope you’re ready for a bumpy ride, and oh, no seat belts allowed.” Ian scratched his head and turned it to the right trying to recognize her foreign references. “Well, forget it Myan, it’s nothing. Let’s just get back to my room and we can set up the place, I’d like to have a decent set-up to come back to after defeating an enemy of the guild okay.” Colleen swiftly turned around and walked up a set of stairs leaving Ian by himself in the Guild entrance. Under his breath, Ian sighed and instantly his eyes rolled to the back of his head and he began to talk to himself. “Fye, fye, Swoonallow, munpia forgoro, my name is Ian hear me roar, fye, fye, swoonallow, munpia forgoro, my name is Ian.” Suddenly, Ian’s head shot up and he looked around frantically. “Oh no, it’s happening again! Mother… Help me.” Ian’s eyes filled with tears and he eventually brought himself to walking up the long stairs that would lead to his new home.
