Laini glanced at the sky, her thoughts drifting to her homeland to the crater. Yes, the crater had formed to her homeland. She missed those sceneries in there. she wanted to return there. Would Hisani be ready?
"Muroki..." Hisani said a wondering tint in her voice. She seemed a bit more serious now, even though there was a soft smile on her face. She gave a little kiss on his nose before continuing: "Should we tell about the desert to mom?"

"Yes, lets...who knows, maybe she'll come with us." Getting to his paws, he nodded. He barely missed the Crater himself, though one day he'd like to return there. If only to see if Bhaskar was still there - Muroki had adored that lion as a cub.

"Mnn." Hisani nodded, getting up too. She waited for him standind next to her before going on. She wanted walk by his side, like real couples do.
Hmm, they were coming towards her? Laini's attention got back to her sweet daughter and the male she had just chosen to love. Laini had to say, her daughter has chosen well. They fit together so well. Gold and sand. A gentle smile formed on her face.

"Evening Laini" Muroki offered a charming smile to the grey lionness as usual and tried to stop feeling so nervous. To him she was an aunt...just because he wanted to be her daughters spouse...oh gods...
"Have you ever been to the desert, Laini? Not the Firekin one, that blasted arid place, the ones that lay in the direction of the sunrise?" He started the conversation before glancing to the golden female at his side - so she may take over the speaking for a short while, as so many couples do.

"Evening," she answered as they came close. She felt curious. Those two were up to something. Soon she found out what that something was. "The desert?" she asked, surprised. "No. I never have been there." She moved her gaze to Hisani. "Did you two planned to travel in there?"
"Yes," Hisani said, her paws moving exitedly. "May I go with Muroki, mother? Please?"
Laini laughed. "Hisani, you're big girl now. You don't need your mother's permission to do things you dream about."

Muroki smiled, not for the first time observing these two together and inwardly sighing. Before they went he'd have to visit Kwahiri's bones...
"We didn't know if you'd like to come too Laini? Just I'd love to show Hisani the oasis I was born in, and the rivers, and how deadly can be beautiful. Not that I'll let anything happen to her out there."
He nudged his Golden Girl's shoulder lovingly and waitied for her mother's response.

"Yeah. Would you like to come too?" Hisani asked and her tail made a swing. She seemed so exited that she didn't even noticed Muroki's soft nudge on her shoulder.
"Hmm, I don't know," Laini had to say. "I miss the crater. Maybe I'll come to visit it later? As long you give me directions, Muroki, I'm sure I can find there easily."

"Um..." He nudged again before giving up. Sitting down, he puzzled over how to give directions. "I'll be travelling back by instinct but I think I could work out a good enough set of directions so you could visit us there."
A purr rumbled in his throat. "My home...like the crater is yours, I suppose"

((Sorry the lateness. I had been busy irl.))
Laini rose, strecthing pleasantly and hopped down from the branch. "I'm ready. And you, Hisani?" she turned her attention to Hisani who seemed exited. "I'm ready." And now the sandy male got her attention again, in form of surprising, warm snuggle. "Lead the way, darling," golden girl said and giggled. So, she was giving him pet names already.
((Okay. I'll be sure to check it out when I'm less tired.))

After a quick nuzzle for his sweetheart, he spent a few minutes telling Laini how to get to the Oasis, and from there how to get to what he simply called 'home'. Then it was to his mothers bonesite. Breaking the few bands of woven grass he wore, he made a back-strap like thread to hold Kalwahiri's skull across his back.
And with this duty to carry his mother's remains 'home', he set out with Hisani to the desert - out of the Pridelands.
