For a moment Alantha had no idea where she was till she ended up back in the snow. She opens her eyes slowly, panting lightly. She calms down slowly, where was she? All she could see here trees and far off was smoke. She slowly starts to walk back to camp.

”Of course friend”, Cyn’gus replied, his mood slightly lightening up, despite the disappearance of the drow female before their eyes. ”You are more than welcome to come and stay for as long as you would like, we are about to begin serving supper.” He said gesturing in the direction of the Outpost.

When the traveler shifted the weight of the weapons slung over his shoulders, Cyn’gus noticed and couldn’t help but notice the several sharp and pointed objects he carried. ”And…perhaps you wouldn’t mind resting those shoulders too. I can show you where to store those before joining us at the camp fire.”

”A blacksmith you say?” Cyn’gus replied as they made the short walk back to the camp. ”That is a very important skill to have. I see from your handiwork that it looks like you have been doing this for some time now. What brings you out here on the road tonight?” He continued as they neared the main camp fire where the others were waiting. Another visitor was a welcomed distraction from the events that had just occurred. The disappearance of Alantha still tugged at his attention, however he knew he would have to wait until he could write another dispatch to the Chosen before anything could be done, if there was anything that could be done.

”Everyone, we have another visitor” Cyn’gus announced as they entered. ”This is… oh, I have forgotten my manners again. My name is Cyn’gus, how may we address you friend?”

Cyn’gus knelt down where Annoi was standing near the stew pot, to pick up a bedroll from the supply she had brought. He saw that Silence was there too, both probably wondering what happened to Alantha. He whispered to them as he gathered the bedding, ”She disappeared, it was magick at work… I’ll explain later”. Then he rose and turned towards the blacksmith again.

"Welcome back," the girl said to the other. She sounded terrible, almost as though she was unable to breathe properly. "You don't have to finish the story... Just so you know."

hearing a girl scream, then a sudden flash finally peaked his interest enough to actually enter the camp.
"hello, mind i ask what that was about?" casually taking a seat nearby while speaking

*couple hours later after hearing what had transpired before his arrival.

seeing a girl collapse against a tree and begin conversing with the blind woman.
questioning as shes making her way to the fire, "hmm... i'm guessing you would be the one who vanished, no?

”Namidar, I am pleased to meet you. This is Silence, our camp mistress and here next to the kettle of stew is my wife, Annoi…” Cyn’gus glanced over to his wife as he introduced her, seeing that she had lifted the ladle to her lips for a taste test, and from her content smile he guessed that supper was ready.

”…and resting there is Roesor, also one of our guests this evening” . After finishing introductions, Cyn’gus walked back over to the stew pot to retrieve bowls of hot delicious winter stew that Annoi was pouring. He delivered the first batch to the camp’s visitors before walking back to grab bowls for Silence, his wife and himself. Just as the Emissary was about to take a seat and begin sharing dinner with the group, another traveler made his way into camp.

”Hello there friend” Cyn’gus called back, raising a hand in greeting, ”you are just in time for supper” He walked over to where the new guest had sat down, and handed him the bowl of stew he had intended to eat for himself saying, ”You are more than welcome to share in what we have to offer, how may we address you friend?“

Those who had gathered at the camp began to settle in as time passed. Weary travelers on a long trek took a well earned rest and filled their stomachs with Annoi’s hearty winter meal. The Emissary brought out his guitarra again and strummed a few tunes as light conversation began. The lone female guest remained quiet for the most part, but it was her sudden head movement, as if she heard something out of ear shot that had Cyn’gus looking out in the direction that seemed to catch her attention.

He caught a glimpse of Alatha by a nearby tree, just as she collapsed. Cyn’gus sprung up, a blanket in hand and ran up to where she lay. ”You had us worried dear, please… let me help you to the fire.” He gently helped her to her feet, careful not to disturb her injury and helped her settle in near the fire. He placed the blanket around her shoulders and Annoi already had a bedroll and an overflowing bowl of soup waiting for her as they sat.

”Eat first and rest, Annoi will tend to your wounds” He said with a smile. With that he rose and walked over to where Silence was observing him and handed her his dispatch letter. In a low tone so no one else could hear he said ”I think the Chosen should know about her as soon as possible.”
