Pain Split! Darn! Bonnie should have known that the girl would pull that out of her bag of tricks. Well, no matter. The Rocket Grunt still some things up her own sleeve as well. And hopefully, just hopefully, they would work out in her favor. "Alright, Sparx, Volt Tackle!"

Sparx, although drained of some of his energy and a bit tired, was still in it for the count. The last thing he was going to do was go down without a fight. "Pika," he said, giving his trainer a definite nod. The mouse pokemon electrified himself in the next moment, and then made a mad dash for the Misdreavus. He was charging at her, and quite fast, too. If there was any time for a head on attack, it was now. Though how much damage the Volt Tackle would do - Bonnie would have to wait and see.

((I'm so sorry I powerplayed ;____; . It was a stupid mistake. I thought that we were all using two turns each post since Mri used double team and fling, and then I used sunny day and brickbreak...It doesn't matter. Either way I apologize sincerly. ))

Pandora was assaulted by an onslaught of sharp claws in an instant, she was hit pretty badly before she even had a chance to block away the Absol with her arms. She winced in pain as the fresh claw marks appeared all over her body. "Keep it up Pandora, Brick Break again!" Clyde was grinding his teeth as he said this. That stupid Charmeleon, she was going to mess everything up. "Bonnie, I think it's time to get creative..." This battle wasn't going their way, so they would just have to change it themselves.
Clyde's Charmeleon was unaware of their plan at the moment, and began hacking away at the Absol once again.

The attack was powerful and while the Pikachu got recoil damage also, it sent the Misdreavus for a loop. The ghost Pokemon faltered... its strength almost completely gone.

"Oh no! Hang in there, Misdreavus! Use Perish Song!" Obviously the girl knew her Pokemon was likely to go down in the next hit.

The ghost then sang a mournful song.

The Absol was hit by the Brick Break and stepped back, shaking its head. The damage from the super effective attacks was starting to add up. Still, it hung in there.

"Use Bite!"

The dark mon leaped forward again, this time using its teeth as weapons instead of claws.

Ah, Perish Song! This was a good attack, one that would cause any pokemon to faint in a few short turns after hearing it. Good thing Bonnie had a plan, though. A hand raised up, pokeball clasped it in. Her Pikachu would be returning to the safety of his pokeball for now, thus negating the effects of Perish Song on him. "Sparx, return to your pokeball," she said in a serious tone. The girl was a better trainer than Bonnie gave her credit for, that was for sure.

As the Misdreavus neared the end of her song, the Grunt pulled out another pokeball. She waited as long as she could, trying to time it precisely to when the song would end. When it was over, the orange-haired girl tossed the ball up into the air and smirked. "C'mon out, Riptide. You deserve some time to stretch your legs."

A Wartortle appeared out of the pokeball a moment later, only to stretch and yawn. It was about time! He was sick of being in the pokeball; it was getting annoying. Despite being out of his ball, however, Bonnie didn't give the turtle pokemon any commands as far as attacks go. Instead, she just gave him a pat on the head before smirking over at Clyde. Her friend was right. It was time to get creative, and she had just the plan in mind.

"Believe me, Clyde, I'm one step ahead of you."

A whistle followed that statement, a loud, high trill. As if on cue, a sudden wave of sand came flying at the trainers and their pokemon seemingly from no where. It's intention was to blind all four of them and create a distraction, and it came from above them all. High up in the air, Cyclone was still fluttering about. With his sand-attack performed, the Pidgeot let out cry of "Piiidgeot," only to drop a net from his talons over the two unsuspecting pokemon in hopes of snatching them.

30 minutes to snag a Pokemon? It didn't seem like a big deal. Yet when Leonard saw some other grunts presenting Seth with the fruits of their labor... and considering that they were probably here from the very beginning... Yeah, he was going to need all the time he could get.

But who was going to be his victim though? He couldn't find anyone that would be easy to steal from. The other Rockets might've used them all up already.

Hiding a scowl under his hat, he shoved his hands into his pockets and started prowling about. At a first glance, he looked like exactly what he was. A young punky boy that was probably trying too hard to look cool. It was his best attempt at looking not guilty or evil or anything like that.

User Image

Walking down the other side of the street was a boy who looked quite similar to Leonard in his punkyness. He had two tasers on his belt as well as a couple Pokeballs. Weird...

"Shade! watch out!" it was too late for the ghastly to fully dodge, but it did try, being skimmed by the blow. Panther frowned, knowing the ghost was not fully recovered from the last battle. not enough time. In the back of his mind he heard the clock ticking and he looked at the old man, calm, relaxed. Panther smiled a bit. it didn't matter if he was late, or even cought, he had time. And right now was the time for battle and a relaxed mind. "Shake it off Shade, show him what you got." Shade smiled, laughing a little to himself.

The old man lifted a brow at the laughing Gastly, who made no move to attack. The Shuppet was eager to go at it, but the old man didn't call for an attack. After all... he was honorable in how he battled.

"I though ye were lookin for a fight, son?"

"I am. Sometimes patients is the best answer." he chuckles. Fighting with honor was something he understood, even if he didn't always do it. now that he forgot the time limit, he was starting to like the guy, and his pokemon. All the more reason to steal it. "Shade ready?" the ghastly nodded, "lick attack."

Another slumping figure like himself caught Leonard's eyes. Of course, the first things he noticed were the tasers. Because how often do you see people with tasers? But then his eyes fell onto the Pokeballs on his belt.

Score! Finding a potential trainer had been easy enough. But how was he going to swipe them from him, without getting tasered? This was going to be interesting.

"Hey." Leonard strolled over to him with a smile. "Nice stuff you have there. I'm surprise the police didn't take them away though, being the sticklers they are... Where'd you get them?"

The Shuppet shuddered from the Lick attack, suddenly finding itself paralyzed.

"Hmm..." the old man hummed to himself. "Nicely done."

"Shuppet, Night Shade." However, the Shuppet was unable to move this turn.

Finally, some real progress. Clyde threw off his facade in an instant, barking out an order to Pandora, "Get over here, now!" Pandora winced as she ran, the Absol had bitten her a number of times before she had gotten away; just in time, too, as a net fell over the two other pokemon. This was no normal battle, the Charmeleon realized. She cowered behind her master's leg, only to be called out again "Pandora, use Fire Spin and trap those two brats. You better have some energy left"
Pandora knew she was going to cry, she was so tired and now Clyde was yelling again. But she had to do as he said, for fear of making him hate her more.
For Master! She thought, summoning all of her fire-power. The flame on her tail blazed even more than usual, as she gathered a large ball of fire in her mouth. She quickly released the ball of flame at the two trainers, sending the fire ball swirling toward the two trainers. It never hit the brother and sister, but instead blazed around them. As the jet of flames slowed from Pandora's mouth it was clear the two were trapped inside the vortex of flames. The Charmeleon twiddled her claws together again, she didn't want to hurt the poor humans, so she made sure to make the ring as big as she could without hitting the net. Hopefully master wouldn't be mad with her.

With Perish Song in effect, all Pokemon on the field when it was executed would faint in three turns. One turn had now passed... and the Misdreavus, Absol, and Charmeleon were unders its effect.

However, both trainers were suddenly surprised as a sand attack was hurled at them and their Pokemon.

"Hey!" "What's going on?!" the two shouted, trying to rub the sand from their eyes.

Then the net was dropped, and the Pokemon squealed and snarled in distress. Except that they forgot the Misdreavus was a ghost and the weakened Pokemon phased through the net to glare at the ones responcible. "Dreavus!" With its trainers incapacitated by a fire spin, it attacked the Charmeleon with a Psybeam.

The Absol continued to struggle under the net, attempting to rip at it with its claws, teeth, and the sickle on its head.

"Sounds awesome!" Leonard made a mental note to see about getting a taser. They could come in handy in his 'career'... Not just for self defense, but for stunning guys like these and taking their Pokeballs already so he wouldn't have to waste time like this.

"Electricity huh?" He continued on. "So you would have Electric Pokemon? I prefer dark and ghost types myself but zapping stuff is fun too." He smirked a bit, thinking of all the fun he could have with an Electric Pokemon. That is, if they would be more obedient than his own Shuppet...

"I know right? Zapping stuff is wicked." The kid grinned, starting to like this guy already.

"And yeah, zap mon rock!" It wasn't too hard to guess what kind of Pokemon the kid had on him.

"Cyclone, use Fly and be of some use; take this Absol back to the proper person," Bonnie said, her attention still on the trainer's and the little Misdreavus. She couldn't let her guard down. The battle wasn't over yet, and if she did, then lost her focus then it would be all over. All of their hard work and planning would have been for nothing. Eyes narrowed and brow furrowed, the grunt determined she was not going to let that happen.

Cyclone flew up and flapped his wings vigorously. With enough force, the net would lift up into the air, just like his trainer wanted to. The Pidgeot then hesitated in his flapping. If the Absol struggled too much, then he wouldn't be getting anywhere. Something had to be done, something to where the Absol couldn't struggle. Out of the corner of his eye, the bird pokemon glanced over at the Charmelon and called out for some assistance. "Piiiiidge!"

With the Misdreavus attacking at Pandora, Bonnie jumped on this opportunity. "Riptide, hit that Misdreavus with an Ice Beam, now!" Riptide's eyes narrowed at the ghost pokemon. Apparently, he was angry for the ghost pokemon attacking Pandora. No one hurt his friends! "Waaaaarr!" he cried, an Ice Beam shooting out of his mouth and directly at the already weakened pokemon. This would show 'em! No one messed with him!

Clyde had nothing to do for now, the Absol- soon to be his Absol, he thought with glee - would be brought to Seth any moment. Then he noticed how much the Absol was struggling as the Pidgeot cried out. "Pandora, get over there and paralyze the Absol with a Thunder Punch. We don't want him escaping."

Pandora was off with a nod of her head, charging up a Thunder Punch as she waddled toward Cyclone and the net. She was getting really tired now, the Perish song sapping her strength. The Thunder Punch was a weak one, but strong enough to keep the Absol from breaking out of the net for a few minutes while the Perish song finished him off. Pandora jumped with her fist above her head at the stranded Absol, hopefully he'd be easier to hit since he was caught in the net.

"That'll do, Pandora. Come and sit. You'll be staying out until the Perish song takes effect, in case you're needed." The Charmeleon walked back over to her Master and plopped down at his side, grateful for the praise and rest.

"Can I see your Pokemon?" Leonard blurted out a bit too eagerly. "I can show you mine! I mean, I only have one right now but she's pretty cool too..."

Gawd, he sounded like he was a complete newb rather than an experienced trainer... Ok, he was a bit on the fresh side, but did he really have to sound so idiotic?

He really wanted to see what kind of Pokemon this guy had though. And a Pokemon outside its Pokeball would be easier to steal. Right?
