He cleared his throat, and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "While that was a pleasant surprise, i beg you not to do that again unless you aren't trying to cover something up."
He got up and moved over to a cupboard and, unlocking it with a key from around his neck, opened it and pulled out a wrapped up package.
"The fact is, that since i went blind, my hearing has improved to the point that it doesnt matter if someone covers my ears." He went over to the table and lay the object down. "If your story is true, and you are from a distant time, then maybe you will know what this is..." reaching out and taking the cloth off, it was shown to be one of the Hero's Location Devices.

Jasmine looked over at Sage. "She okay?" Truthfully, Jasmine wasn't worried about Flicker's feelings. The girl might be a little annoyed, a little embarassed, but otherwise fine. However, she hoped that Flicker stayed within the camp. They'd encountered an exploding shepherd and a minotaur just trying to reach people. Not to mention they had ticked off Pan. Yes, it was a tiny bit dissapointing that Delilah's plan hadn't worked, but she suspected Delilah was more annoyed than she was. She looked at the device Kidemonas had put on the table. "Um...well, that's a...How did you find that?" Jasmine asked, tilting her head.

Sitting on the stool and tapping on the machine, "Five years ago i woke up in a clearing south of Mycenae. I had no idea who i was, or why i was there. All i had were a pair of strange clothes on my back, and this strange object laying broken on a rock."

Sage reached out to touch the device frowning. For this to have broken meant that it had to have hit something very hard. Their location devices were made to withstand their battles so for one to break was very rare. She then glanced at Jasmine and created a mirage for her friends that showed Flicker running away from the camp and giving her the slip.

Getting impatient for them not speaking, "Well do you people know what it is or not? i would really like to get some answers to this mystery after all these years."

Sage looked over at Delilah and Jasmine. Even though this man was familiar feeling and was obviously connected to them in some way she wasn't quite comfortable enough around him to speak yet.

Feeling around to make sure they were still in the building, he found the hand of one of them. It was the quiet one, who had never spoken a word to him. Taking her hand in both of his, "Please miss, if you know something about my past please tell me. i have no memories other then that of war...."

Sage looked at him and bit her lip as she glanced at her friends with a look that begged them to speak up so she wouldn't have to.

Seeing that she still refused to talk to him, the warrior sighed in regret. Releasing her hand, he slumped back in his chair. He waved his hand to a room at the back of the hut, signaling that she and her friends were dismissed for now.

Sage smiled sadly at the man. She thought that soon she might be able to talk to him but not yet. Sage wasn't comfortable enough with him yet to speak.

Staying slumped in the chair, he pulled the strange object to him and held it in his lap, as if it would give him the answers he was looking for. But it stayed silent, and he was left to his own thoughts...

Jasmine stood up to leave, staring at the object for a moment. It was broken, and therefore probably couldn't reveal any secrets. She stepped into the other room, frowning, and turned to the others. "Poor guy. I feel like he should know..."

"This is turning out like that guy from that myth that Flicker always told us of- you know- the one that married his mother and killed his father. He was better off not knowing what he'd done..." Delilah whispered to Jasmine as she left. That object.... Each of them bore a mark, a sort symbol that depicted each member of the group. Delilah's mark was of a winged Sphinx. She wondered which mark the object bore and whom had lost it.

He sat moodily in his chair, working his hand over the object in his lap, recalling the memory of that day so many years ago.
It had been raining, and the sun was just rising on the horizon. He woke up with a start, and realized his head was bleeding freely. he had landed on a rock when he fell, and cracked his head badly. Standing shaikly, he picked up that strange machine, and started walking in one direction, hopeing to find something familer, or someone who knew his name...

Sage nodded her head in agreement with Delilah. The man was probably better off not knowing and happier as well even if he didn't agree. The object had caught her attention but she hadn't been able to see a symbol on there before he had grabbed her hand. Sage's symbol was that of a Dragon twined around a Dagger.
