"Kinda... it belonged to a childhood friend of mine" Hikaru said, and it was obviously a touchy subject for Hikaru. "She and I were on this beach a couple of years ago. She and I were talking about the future, and I don't know what happened. She possessed an extremely powerful bloodline and she was the last of her bloodline. She started to lose control, and I tried to help her regain control, despite the massive objects that were appearing out of everywhere and destroying stuff into oblivion when they collided. It was going fine until some retarded shinobi of the village intervened. I tried to stop them but they just threw me into the air and slam dunked me into the ground. They then started to attack her, shouting that they had to knock her unconscious. But the bad thing was that she lose control again and she obliterated two of the shinobi and then the others tried killing her. When it was all over, Alaria was barely conscious and she had massive wounds all over her body. I remember crying over her as she died, shouting that if she was to die then I had to die as well. It was at that point she told me that I had to live my own life and have my own friends other than her, and she gave me this pendant. Then she died... I don't even know why those stupid GENIN got involved for! They were out of their league and they resorted to killing her..." Hikaru said, trying to hold back tears and gave in eventually, tears streaking down his face. It was obvious that this Alaria was precious to Hikaru, probably because they were inseparable when they were younger and they were childhood friends.

Strangely enough, Hikaru wasn't repulsed by the scar and the black tendrils, as if it was normal. "No one is ever sure of their own power... but what scared me is when I had my revenge after graduating... my father gave me Kawaige... I hunted the remaining two down...and fought them... but when I entered the fight... I felt different... sadistic to describe it... all I could think of was hurting them so they could never hurt anyone else again... I chained them up using Kawaige's power. When I was myself again, they had several large wounds, some of their flesh had been ripped by Kawaige's blade. They went insane soon after." Hikaru said, slightly shaking at his memory of what happened next. "It seems... when ever I get into a fight... my personality temporarily changes... I become sadistic... dark... even cruel... but when the battle ends... I'm myself again. I don't know what happens to cause the change, but it just happens... I'm a monster in those cases..." Hikaru said, obviously trying to forget what he had done when he got his revenge. "It's not a split personality because I'm conscious the whole time and I know what is happening... normally when a split personality takes control, you feel shunted off to the side... it wasn't like that when I was fighting..." Hikaru said, as he looked at his shaking hands, as if they were some curse, and Outou would be able to see one of Hikaru's birth marks on Hikaru's right wrist.


The birth mark took the form of a silvery pattern that seemed to have a water and ice design, and if Outou looked carefully at Hikaru's left shoulder, she would notice another silvery pattern that seemed to have a wind-themed design, but the majority of that pattern was hidden by Hikaru's shirt.

"That's a good point, Outou-chan" Hikaru said, slowly trying to get up, having felt pins and needles in his legs and feet due to lack of circulation. "Rage can be used to strengthen the fury of power, but eventually, it will weaken no matter what... because it is a negative emotion... and will eventually sap strength instead of granting it..." Hikaru said, as he looked directly into her eyes and then said "You might want to get that throat healed... then after than... I'll treat you to some food... my treat... you need something to keep your energy going... don't want to faint from lack of nutrition...". Hikaru smiled, knowing that despite her rough edges to her personality, she was actually a kind and caring person in fact.

"You're an interesting conservationist... it isn't my right to interfere in your wills and such..." Hikaru said, and then he turned to face away from the beach. "I know you are there, Kira! Brother... I can tell when you are watching me... you do it all the time... you're so damned protective..." Hikaru shouted, and then a figure in an grey cloak wearing black clothing appeared, as if my magic.

"Hikaru-kun... you need to get back home... mother and father are looking for you..." Kira said, straight to the point and slightly annoyed. "I just said I was walking around the village and go training... and then they go crazy about it... Iie... it's early... just tell them not to worry... I can take care of myself" Hikaru said to Kira, pessimistically, and then Kira nodded and disappeared.

"Parents... always so much of control-freaks... what can you do..." Hikaru said, joking as his heterochromic eyes glistened. "I wonder which Genin squad I am on though.." Hikaru murmured, wondering about it.

"I might as well get training..." Hikaru said, as he gently unsheathed Kawaige from its beautiful scabbard and Outou would be able to see a beautiful pattern across the blade of Kawaige. It seemed to depict a battle between the Hyouton bloodline and a fire wielding bloodline... perhaps the Uchiha maybe. Hikaru held the 5 and a half foot long katana with a single hand, obviously showing how light it was, or that Hikaru was strong enough to do so if the weapon wasn't light. Hikaru walked slowly towards the beach and held Kawaige at the ready. At that point, Outou would hear Hikaru intone the words "Kawaige, blade of Innocence... let loose your chains!". When Hikaru finished the incantation, a chain of what seemed to be manifested Suiton chakra shot forth from the tip of the blade, it seemed to keep on extending its length unending as if there was no limit to the chain links.

Hikaru held Kawaige at the weapon, and the patterns started to light up, it was obvious that the reaction between Hikaru's chakra and the weapon's power was causing the patterns to glow. "The chakra drain from using the chains is a minimal amount, basically the amount of chakra an E-ranked technique requires!" Hikaru explained, as he slashed in the direction of the ocean, and then the chain shot forth in that direction. Surprisingly, it wrapped itself around a large edible fish that had jumped out of the water but at the wrong time as it had been captured by Kawaige's chain. Then Hikaru pulled the sword back, like a person trying to catch a fish with a fishing rod after they had got a bite on the line.

The chain rapidly retracted with the chain still wrapped around the fish and then the fish was thrown into the soft and cold snow of the beach, and it had landed in between Outou and Hikaru. "Interesting... I've never heard of fishing with a katana before.." Hikaru admitted, smiling, as the chains disappeared as he stopped using the power of the weapon, and the patterns stopped glowing.

"That fish deserves to live in the ocean... I never intended to catch it, I just needed to see to what extent I could manipulate Kawaige's chain.." Hikaru said, as he looked at the sky again, noticing that the Aurora was still there. It was interesting that it was still there, as if it was looking down upon Outou and Hikaru like a guardian angel. Hikaru's eyes then looked at a watch on his left wrist and he said "I've got to go for now Outou... my mother is going to give me hell if I don't get back soon... see you until then..", as sheathed Kawaige carefully into its scabbard which was slung over his back.
