The next morning Anselm arose and headed westward across hilly terrain till at last he reached an unfamiliar area, farmland as far as the eye could see inhabited by little people. "How very strange." he murmured as he walked along the roads, standing out like a sore thumb due to his height.

"Oh yes, of course, of course, silly me..." Lena said as she ran all over the place looking for garlic. Once she found it, she gave Celeste the garlic and her knife, but once again going off to boil some water. Once she put the water in the pot, she realized that she needed the garlic, making her run back to Celeste again fetching the garlic from her. A few minutes later she walked to Celeste with the water "Here you go!" Lena said cheerily.

Anselm walked among the rows of small houses embedded into the hills themselves, causing a small amount of commotion and worry from the more peaceful hobbits due to the fact he was armed. He stopped for several moments in front of each house, studying the little people with a childlike curiousity.

"Thank you Lena..." *she pours a little water on her arm, ignoring the pain, and gets ready to cut the skin around the arrow*.....*after she bandages her arm she turns to Lena and asks "Did you happen to see the people who attacked us?"

Anselm breathed in through his nose slowly as if he were studying a particular smell in the air. He turned his attention towards the half elf, watching him silently with his bright red eyes.

The wererat watched the elf silently for a few moments, waiting to react to whatever move he made. He made no move to attack the elf. "I mean you no harm Quendi." he said as the half elf drew nearer, using the elves' ancient name for themselves when he referred to him.

*appears out of the shadows* Here I am brave hobbit, Out of Bree's population only about 1/3 didn't make it to the shire, I will alert Sam Gamgee that the hobbits must take in the families from Bree. After the riders of rohan come they will retake Bree. In the meantime, I brought a lot of Lembas for everyone.
