Finally, they had gotten to what was really important. After all, she was a teacher! Making her wait until the end was completely unfair. While Raven had learned a good deal of possibly useful information, it was nothing that she couldn't have looked up on her own time, and their guide, while fine in his manner, was a bore when lecturing.
Raven examined the egg carefully. It was a red dragon, like that assigned to the child of that painfully ordinary man. Still, a love of high altitudes would suit Anoki Kenelm well. She gave a stiff nod indicating her approval, and guided Anoki to the front with one arm. "You may ask one question, Anoki Kenelm. Anything else you wish to know you can find out yourself."
Despite Raven's all-too-expected attitude, Anoki was in heaven. He got a PRETTY egg! It wasn't drab or boring at all, it was shiny and red. Red was his favorite color! Well, more like his third favorite, after blue and green, but it definitely ranked high up there. And it was the same typeof egg that Earako got, which made it so much better.
Luckily he had been listening, so he remembered about liking shiny things and being easy to spot. But of course, he did have some questions. "Wh-what's it e-eat?" he asked nervously. "A-and- and are th-they h-h-hot?"
Trembling a little, Anoki chanced a glance at Raven, but luckily his guardian hadn't hear him sneak in the extra question. He let out a sigh of relief. It really was an important question after all, since he didn't want to ger burned.

((As of this post, I conclude this run through. Because we have more groups that need to get through this! RAWR!))
Finally the end of it, and thank the gods. Limiting him to one question. This would be fast that meant. He glanced over at the few children who showed up, mentally cursing. the noise box was back. Great... He'd been hoping to avoid any further interactions with her. Oh well... Good luck had never been on his side anyway. Yes, ill fortune liked to stalk the red head, didn't it? He shrugged slightly, looking at the little Ibex and waiting for the question he knew would come.
Surprisingly not one, but two. Tut tut, what a naughty kid. Oh well... Easy enough. "Like all of the dragons, yours is carnivorous." Trend much? "And no, it will not give off heat physicially from it's body." In other words it wouldn't burn the kid. It was rather ironic that the kid was getting a fire dragon though. Was not an ibex designed for a colder climate? Hmm, well if it took to living on a mountain the kid would survive. That's what mattered right.
"Now then, let's be off. No further questions will be answered." In other words Haruki was sickof them all, and needed to sit in a quiet room with nothing, but the sound of pages turning to disturb him. End of story.
It was rather true though, Haruki had a social meter in him, and once that ran out he was downright cold about things. And it was hitting empty. There would be no further tolerance. So with that, he quickly ushered the group out, collecting the stragglers who where with their eggs as he did.
Why was it he took this job again?

Anna paced around the room, stopping every few seconds to check the list of children she was supposed to be teaching then back to the list of eggs. Right. She could do this. Dragon eggs hadn't been in her contract, at least her lawyer hadn't thought them important enough to mention to her before she signed it, but then again there were still a lot of things she didn't know about this place. She pushed her hair back, shrugged at the bit of dirt that came off on her hand, and wiped it off on her apron. Perhaps gardening hadn't been the best thing for her to do right before they arrived. Being that this was her first job with the corporation, she was a bit nervous that she would mess up.
Taking a deep breath, she went over it again. Lead them around, show them the eggs, and answer questions, that was all. LEQ. Lead, Eggs, Questions. Yeah, that's work. Cheering up a bit, she buzzed over the list in her head again, hoping she would be able to put the right names with the right children, or at least the right gender. There were some odd names, one or two she's never seen before, so it was more of a hopeful bit of optimism than an actual expectation.

Oliver poked his head into the facility, before pushing in, practically dragging his mother. This was the first time he'd ever been eager to go to a new place, even though it was big and scary. Why was that? Simple. He was going to get to see his egg today! After the long weeks of waiting, he was finally going to get to meet it. He looked up at kami, smiling widely. "This is the place, right? Where is it?"
Kami smiled weakly. She'd never seen her little boy so eager over something. Too bad he didn't act like this over classes and bath time. "Yes, Olly, this is the place." she looked up at Aanna, and smiled a bit, waving. "There's going to be a group, so you'll have to be patient. We're going to see several eggs, I think." she said, giving him a pat as he glanced around.
"Alright..." the young camel kept close to his parent, his brown eyes wide as he took an actual moment to take in the surroundings. What an odd place. His eyes settled on Anna and he gave a little wave, wondering if she was a teacher at D-corp.

Arith bounced into the facility, tail waggin and a large grin on his face.He was finally going to see the dragon eggs!"Hurry hurry!"He shouted over his shouler at Mia, who was taking her time after the rush to get here.
"Coming, coming. You should lay off the sugar."She ruffled Arith's hair as she reached him looking around the room they had entered."I hope this I the right place."As she moved in a bit more she noticed there were a other people here and waved, smiling at them."Looks like it is the right place and we aren't late."

Harper felt awkward without a book in her hands, but she knew lugging one around to day would be more trouble than it was worth in the long run. Besides, she doubted there'd be many long pauses during which she'd read, anyway.
"Come on, Noyama!" the hawk called, holding the door open. The guardian sped up a bit, entering and looking around. The door closed and Harper stood beside her, 'hm'ing.
"Interesting," she commented casually, taking her 'mother's' hand and dragging her to the others.

Making sure quickly that her apron wasn't caught on anything, Anna bustled over toward the first of the children to arrive. He was kind of odd looking with a visible hump to his back, so she gathered that he was the camel child, Ol...Something. "Hello hello, I'll bet you're exicted?" She said cheerfully before beckoning for the other two to come on in. There was a rule she was forgetting, but she wasn't sure which. Barely a minute and she was already forgetting something, that wouldn't go over well.
Nervous to make sure she did everything by the book, she turned and walked back to well, The Book. It was a little packet she had made for herself with all of the rules and information she was going to need for today and the rest of her contract with D-Corp. "This this this this.." She mumbled, running her finger across the pages to try and figure out what she'd forgotten that was so important at this point. "Oh, right," she sighed, smiling back up at the three pairs of visitors, "Parents, I know you'd like to scurry off and let them experience this themselves, but you have to stay." Quickly, she tacked on, "For safety and liability reasons, you know."

Oliver smiled cheerily, and gave a vigorous nod, blushing a little as the woman addressed him. "Yes, very!" he replied, with a little laugh at the end, a little nervous, as well as excited. There were so many questions floating through his head, but he knew it would be silly to blurt them all out before the tour even started.
Kami listened, and nodded. It seemed she would get to stay with her little one, for once. To tell the truth, she was quite curious over the dragons herself. It wasn't every day you got to see real dragon eggs. She nodded to the instructions sagely, remaining quiet, for the most part, and casting smiles over at the other parents, friendly acknowledgments.

Lian knew he was late a he came into the room quitely. Was he really going to see the dragon egg? He was a bit skeptical but still excited that it was possibly true. Lian glanced around the room only recognizing the hawk girl but none of the others.
Sciz came in behind the panda child looking mostly asleep. By the look of things it was probably that he over slept and Lian had to drag him here, not the other way around.

Del and Malen slid into the room both blushing. They'd come in late and they were both feeling embarressed. Hoping they hadn't missed anything too important the pair leaned against a wall and listened for instructions. Del was excited she'd been waiting for this moment for quite some time and now that it was here she hoped it was all she'd dreamed it would be.

Taking a quick note of the late arrivals, Anna grabbed a clipboard with a bunch of numbers scribbled on it. The first child on the list was Harper, and coincidentally, it was also the first tank on the route. Turning toward the room that held that particular tank, she waved her hand in the air shouting, "Come on, come on, you don't want to get left behind! You never know what might climb out and bite you." It was a bit of a stretch, but she assumed it would give the children the kick in the butt it took to get them moving instead of just gawking at all of the equipment.
Speed-walking with her eyes still stuck on the clipboard, she had memorized the route earlier that day, she didn't stop to look back and make sure the group was following her. Finally, she hooked the clipboard onto her work belt and settled beside a tank with strange contents. "I know you'd all like to stay and spend as much time as possible wandering around, but we're on a rather tight schedule." She explained, casting a sideways glance to the tank. Dragon eggs, the whole thought still gave her the shivers. She was getting distracted. "Harper Kther, step up and get a better look, this one's yours," she directed, hoping she'd gotten the name right.
"This is a Common Chinese Fireball, one of the most known species of Asian Lung. Its egg, as with other Asian Lungs, needs to be kept in a sort of shrine, as we have here, in shallow water with tablets on either side. This shows respect to the dragon, just as you would show respect to an ancestor. It needs to be kept at a steady temperature between eighty and ninety degrees fahrenheit." She said, taking a quick breath after the lengthy explanations, "Do you have any questions, Harper? Like about its appearance?" Truthfully she herself would have liked to spend more time, even use a demonstration or two, but as it was they were already running a bit late.

Now, this was the part of her life Harper had been dreading.
She couldn't lie, she wanted nothing to do with these damn dragons. They were too big for one thing, and quite frankly she didn't trust them. Even so, she hid the bitterness she felt quite well outwardly-speaking as she obeyed and 'stepped up', gazing over the egg thoughtfully.
Common, huh? So it'd be big and boring.
As politely as she could, she nodded her head and said, "Yes, one: Can I go now?"

Oliver let out a soft 'oooh' as he followed the tour leader, tugging his mother along eagerly, and peering at the egg as they reached it. So that was what they looked like. How interesting! He smiled up at his mother a moment, before looking back down to the egg. He was all the more eager to get to see his, and he hardly noticed the snide way the egg's owner asked to leave. So excited!
