Shaking his head, he looked to the mirror again. A warning...The demons intended to breed with the angels to make weapons of mass destruction to win...That part of the message was clear. Looking to Syd, he shook his head. "Initially, we are to be envoys of peace, not war. The only reason we do reconnaissance on both sides to keep tabs of their movements, nothing more."

Sin felt himself silently hyperventilating. He'd never kissed anyone in his life. Even though his long 300 years was still relatively short compared to some others. He looked back to see J'valia smiling at him. He turned his head to hide his blush. "I-I should go..." He finally managed to squeeze out. He took a few steps and had his hand on the curtain. But something wouldn't let him go. And he didn't know what it was...or more importantly...why?

Sydney scowled at the reply she got out of Alastar. Well, what do you expect to do then? Just sit back and watch while the demons wreak havoc on the Angels and then the world?" she asked Alastar flatly. "The least we could do in this situation is to warn the damn angels of what the demons are planning!"

Indrid stopped staring at the words and sighed. "Honestly, I don't think this whole peace thing is going to work. What have we accomplished? Nothing!" he clenched his hands into fists, gritting his teeth together. "You know the Angels mock us? If we warn them, they'll probably dismiss it. Maybe it's time to show everyone we mean buisness..but I don't know."

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ Eris shook her head solemnly, remembering the so-called holy ones who had burned off her wings ten years ago. "What makes you think they will care about what we say? As far as they are concerned, we are nothing more than tools. We were placed here to feel important, and much to either side's benefit, to stay out of the way."
She stood up and let go of her wrist, letting it fall limply to the side, she looked over to where Alastar was staring into the mirror and felt quite sad, something was weighing on his mind, she just knew it. "I agree with Ingrid, we need to do something that will show everyone we are not weaklings backing out of the war."
She said, sounding a bit worried.

Sydney blinked and looked over at Indrid in surprise. He'd finally said something. She let what Indrid said sink in for a minute or two before saying anything in reply. "So what if the Angels mock us? At least we'll have told them what the demons are planning." Information like that tended to gnaw at the back of people's minds until they finally realize the information was true.
"I also agree. We definitely need to do something! I can't stand the fact that we're sitting on our asses, afraid to do anything about going after the peace we want!" Syd stated bluntly. It was the truth. She did hate the fact that they only went on recon missions and things like that. Not only was it boring but it got them nowhere near the goal they wanted to accomplish.

Indrid sighed at Sydney. "They mock us. They won't listen to us." he said, turning his back to her and waving his hand in irritation. Not at her, but at the situation. He read the words on the mirror again. "What do we do? How do we gain their trust so quickly?"

Sydney scowled at the stuff Indrid said in reply. "Oh come off your confusion horse and do something already! If the only way they'll listen is if we fight them head on, then I say we fight them head on already!" Sydney finished at a near shout. She was beginning to get frustrated with Indrid and his indecisive nature.

"Listen to yourself!" he screamed. Fire was glowing red hot around him. He tried to calm down, at any moment he could set the whole base on fire. "How are we supposed to warn them if we kill them all!? You get off YOUR damn confusion horse and actually give us ideas WE CAN USE!" Indrid usually was very grammatically correct, but that sentence rubbed him the wrong way. He was too angry to care, too angry to correct himself.

"At least I know what I damn well want!" Sydney shouted right back at Indrid. She wasn't going to take his tantrum lying down. She wasn't confused. She knew she wanted the fighting to stop and all the death to stop. She hated it. Hated seeing people getting killed. Especially those that she knew and was close to: like the nuns who helped raise her. "Just because we fight them, doesn't mean we have to kill them!"

"Syd, Indrid, mind your voices, we are all still here in this room..." He said this in a very silent tone, barely heard as he took a deep breath and sighed. This was no what he signed up for. Out of all of them, he was the weakest, and the rush to the room brought back the fatigue from the recon mission. He had no true proper rest, and he was no longer capable of hiding it. Sitting down, his hands came to his head, pinching the bridge of his nose in order to focus.
"Compared to the armies of Darkness and Light, we are few. Our only wild card is the Halfbreed, and even then, we cannot depend on her all the time. Her own powers drain her drastically each time they are over used. Even the human forces wouldn't listen to us as we are considered abominations to them...If we are to fight, we must first think what we must do and how to go about it. We have two major forces against us and only one potential ally who will never trust us."

Indrid clutched his head. The fire was too intense. He burst out of The Garthora, standing at the edge. He screamed, and fire emerged from his mouth. His wings set on fire. His hands, his legs. He was totally engulfed. After a while the screaming subsided and he sat down on the floor, around him a pitch black circle.
He sighed, which was more of a "Help Us" sigh then an annoyed one. He looked up. He remembered the Humans talking about a kind and benevolent God. Was he up there? Indrid wanted to believe, but he didn't know anymore. "I want to believe.." he repeated.

~*~*~*~*~*~α∂єℓℓιηє єяιѕ~*~*~*~*~*~ A strong smell of mint filled the room as she raised a few bright green plants from the floor. "Eat these, they will make you feel more alive Alastar." she said smiling.
With a sigh she put a finger to her temple. "There are ways we could get directly to the superior... without the cause of a scene."
Eris looked around the room, wondering if anyone had heard that. If need be, she would have to tell them who she really was, and why she had not told them before. тнιѕ ѕσƒтєηє∂ нєαят ιѕ ℓιттєяє∂ ωιтн тнσяηѕ, ωнι¢н уσυ єιтнєя ρυѕн

As Alastar spoke up, telling her to lower her voice, Sydney turned her head to glare at him. "Don't blame me! Indrid's the one who started shouting!" she replied, her voice noticeably lower in volume now. However, she still sounded quite angry. She had only been trying to get her point across to the people who never seemed to quite understand her.
"I know all of that! You don't have to tell me again." Sydney stated in reply to Alastar stating the completely obvious fact that their forces were outnumbered greatly. "The humans are losing just as many people as both the Angels and Demons. I would think they'd want to stop the war just as much as we do..."

Watching Indrid leave a hole in the room, he sighed heavily and stood up. This was no team. This was a mess...His mind was already groggy from the fatigue catching up with him. He needed rest, but there was now too much to do. Looking at Syd and Erin, he shook his head, taking a mint that was offered to him with a nod before speaking. "For now, I think its best we cool down. I'll go and find Indrid....You two head to your bunks or the Mess Hall, anywhere that will allow you a chance to rest, breath, and clear your minds. Once Sin has processed this information, including yours, Erin, I am sure there will be a meeting..."
And at that, he walked out of the room and down the corridor. It was easy to find Indrid. The fire left a scorching trail up and over the fortress, leaving a similar one to where he landed. It didn't take him long to find the young man muttering to himself, saying over and over, "I want to believe." Sitting next to him, he gives a wry smile as he took a bite of the mint he was given.
"Don't we all...."
