"Fish!" Senka cried out before being grabbed by Lin.

Lin didn't want Senka to be pouncing on the table that wouldn't be good as far as she was concerned.

"Be patience," she murmured to Senka as she walked calmly towards the dining room, "It sounds wonderful, the food I mean," she added.

Indeed it looked like a huge meal Arwen didn't hold back at all in making it all.

Lin giggled at that as she set Senka down before making her way over to her own chair. Naturally Senka made a dash for her plate. She had to take in the site before her as she sat.

"You three really out did yourselves," Lin finally told them, "This is amazing."

It was one thing to have just fish and veggies but this was a lot of fish and all sorts of veggies and of course there was the soup. Lin wondered where to start.

"It's nothing," Arwen smiled. "Since Roydon and Leyenda have been gone, I haven't really had an opportunity to make a meal like this. I've always loved to cook. I've been teaching Starr all week, and she wanted to try making something for everyone."

Starr blushed a bit. "I think maybe we made a bit much," she murmured, "but I know how much Kaito eats so maybe not after all."

Kaito just laughed. "I know it's true, it doesn't bother me."

"What I wonder," Arwen quipped as they all sat down, "is if it's possible to have enough food on board the ship to keep feeding Kaito for as long as we'll be sailing." She laughed as she began to serve everyone.

Starr blushed slightly. "Maybe," she murmured, though her milky eyes were shining hopefully.

It was a wonderful and delicious meal all round, and even with Kaito's appetite there was plenty left over afterward. Everyone was in a good mood at the end of the meal, though Celeb seemed as if he were going to fall asleep in his chair. Even Storm was smiling by the end of the meal, and he had eaten quite a bit as well - much more than he usually did.

And just as Kaito was finally announcing that he had eaten his fill, the front door opened and Roydon's voice called out, "Arwen! We're home!"

With identical squeals, Arwen and Celeb scrambled off their chairs and raced towards the front door.

Rhea giggled at Lin. "Let's let them have a moment to themselves," she smiled. "After such an absence, I'm sure they might like to greet each other properly."

"Besides," Ura grinned, "with how good this meal smells, I'm sure it won't be long before they're back in here."

"There is that," Shiro chuckled.

But it wasn't long. In only a few short moments, Leyenda appeared in the doorway, her skin dark from the sun, her black hair back in a braid, Celeb wrapped tightly around her neck. Or so it seemed.

Her eyes were bright with excitement, and she beamed at everyone. "Hello!" she exclaimed. "When did you all get here?"

She was sixteen now, an adult, and she looked it: she was quite mature, and very nearly as tall as her mother, and easily as beautiful.

Leyenda smiled and tried to reach down to pick up Senka, but Celeb was clinging so tightly to her that she couldn't. She giggled. "Hi, Senka. I'd pick you up, but ..."

She squealed a bit as Celeb hugged her even tighter. "Not letting go!" he mumbled into her shoulder.

Earendil chuckled. "Someone's fond of his sister."

Celeb had his eyes shut tight, and he didn't notice Senka's look. He just wanted his sister, that was all that he cared about at the moment.

Leyenda smiled at Lin. "And I'm starving. I'll eat soon though." She kissed Celeb on the forehead. "Right now I think I need to convince my little brother that I'm not going anywhere for a while."

"Arwen said the ship would be ready when you two returned," Kaito spoke up hopefully.

Leyenda nodded. "It's ready." She smiled widely. "As soon as we can stock up everything we need, we'll be on our way."

Ura cheered out loud while the others simply smiled widely.

Celeb ignored Lin. Leyenda smiled and stroked his back. "He'll be asleep soon," she murmured softly. "I'll eat then." She sat down and kept stroking her brother's back. "But yes, we'll be together from now on."

She blinked, and her smile faded a bit. "Wait a second ... Lin ... you didn't have wings the last time you were here ... what happened?"
