Kerana felt the warmth of hug and smiled. She noticed the girl was tired from all the magic she was using and saw as the barrier dims out. "Don't worry Elizabeth-chan, the zombies are pretty much taken care of thanks to-" just then her eyes widen as she saw the ambush that ensued "SEAN!" She couldn't cast something in his direction for fear that she might hit him. Instead she raised her hands used her barrier which was a red and black one which surrounded Max, Elizabeth and herself.
She didn't want anyone else to get hurt. She was so worried about Sean and wanted to rush out to help him fight but knows very well that she would only get in the way, thus why she stayed behind and protected the others. Once Sean made it back out, she was relieved and let her arms down causing the barrier to go down. "SEAN!" she rushes to him and looks over his wounds. "Here let me heal you." her hand started glowing green and she starts healing the wounds she finds.

Sean rolled her eyes at her reaction. Kerana was always one to take things out of proportion, sure his wounds where great, but his body healed faster then normal. He didn't fight her though, knowing it would do him little to no good. So, he allowed her to heal what wounds she could find, though they where little compared to some that where well hidden.
The Wolf lowered his large jaw onto the girls shoulder, embracing her for a moment, a snort leaving his maw that was closer to a laugh then a growl. He was glad that Kerana was alright, glad that she wasn't hurt to badly, glad that Elizabeth was able to heal her.
Once Kerana was done with her obsessive worry he nudged her cheek with his muzzle. Then, he plucked up the small black bag he tossed before he went into battle and disappered into the woods, he need privacy to change back to his 'normal' state. Once he was out of the sight of the women he changed back. The sound of his bones reforming and shrinking to a human size was always a bone chilling sound to those who wasn't like him.
Quickly he pulled on his pants, then he idly looked down, his upper abdomen was riddled with a large wound. Sighing he pulled a dark shirt over the wound, knowing that Kerana would insist on healing it if she could see it. So he made sure it was hidden under a dark shirt. Then, moments later he returned to the group.
"Well... Whatever has your friend, I'd say it's doing a damn good job at keeping her." he said roughly. It would take a while before his voice would return back to normal. Though that didn't bother him. He looked over to Max, then to Elizabeth, finally to Kerana. Sighing he hugged her again. Knowing that he was going to have to stay closer to her now more then ever. "Let's get this party on the road then, shall we?!"

While Sean went into the woods to change, Max was busy rounding up what arrows he could. It looked like his arrows had been mostly ineffective, and some of his targets had gone on to join the group that had attacked the wolf. This at least made it easier to retrieve his prized projectiles, but one had broken in the struggles. With a sigh, he picked up the broken arrow, removing the tip for later use. It seemed as though the archer had run into a string of bad luck, one he hoped to be free of soon. Dropping the arrow head into his pack, Max went back to the others.

Kerana closed her eyes and felt safe in his arms and was glad she could help him. She knew the nudge he gave to let her know what he was going to do. She watches him hide himself in the woods.
Her eyes squinted shut as she hears the bone crunching sounds of him reverting back to his original form. This always sends shivers down Kerana's spine which causes her fur to stand on end.
She saw him coming back with his clothes, she blushed a little as he came back. Sometimes she swears that a choir of angels were singing and his hair would slowly blow back every time he enters the scene. But she knew it was her fantasies playing with her mind. She felt his embrace again. Kerana nodded and they were close enough that magic users could see the trail of necromancy magic.

Sean smiled at the tension between them, shaking his head he pulled away from Kerana, making a silent vow not to leave her in the line of danger again. He sighed as he watched the other boy returned back. Then he looked over at the exhausted Elizabeth.
"Well.. Maybe we should rest up for the night and then pursue your friend tomorrow.. It seems some of us are exhausted. "
"No. I'm fine." Elizabeth said as she glared in the wolfs direction. She didn't want something to happen to Trinity by dilly-dallying around.
"You sure don't look fine, Liza." the wolf said flatly as he stood beside Kerana.
"Trust me. I'm fine." the fiery red head spat. She was beginning to hate this wolf.
Sean snorted as he turned his gaze back to Kerana, sometimes women could be so stubborn, the whole lot of em. Sighing he crossed his arms across his black clothed chest. He could fill the sting of the wound on his chest, but ignored it. Sean had seen worse.
"Well, Max... What do you presume we do? Stay or go forward. Your friend here." Sean stated darting his eyes in the direction of Elizabeth "persists we go on, even though she most likely can barely walk, much less fight."
"Oh you are one to talk!" Elizabeth shouted as she rose to her feet, her face red with rage as she looked at the more then hansom dark haired man. She hated being underestimated by men, they always thought because she was small and frail that she was weak. She was probably more self driven then most men she has encountered.
The red head looked to her left, seeing a lancet that one of the zombies had been using as a weapon. She knew the weapon would be tainted, but that was a quick fix. She picked up the metal, sharp pointed weapon. Cringing at the negative energy the weapon with held, then she closed her eyes, concentrating on cleansing the weapon.
Moments later, Liza's eyes opened, the weapon had taken on a new look. It was no longer black and tainted with blood, but a coppery gold color. She smiled at the weapon, it would do for now.
Sean watched as the girl began to concentrate on the weapon in her hands. Blinking, was she really cleansing the weapon after she was just down from exhaustion. He snorted and turned away from the red head, looking at Kerana, at least she knew when the listen to reason.
Sighing the wolf ran his hand through his hair. Looking at Kerana in the eyes, shaking his head. "Kera, what do you suppose we do? After all... whatever you want to do, I'll do it." his stare held hers for a moment, within that moment he gave her one of his famous charming smiles, the smile that melted women's hearts, and let him get his way 90 % of the time.

The way Max saw it, trying to convince the girls to stop for the night was the wolf's way of asking it himself without looking weak. Max wasn't one to judge, however, and kept his thoughts to himself. He was about to ask if Elizabeth wanted to stop, but the girl spoke for herself. When the wolf started to turn on the charm to get the fox girl to see things his way, Max figured he'd speak up before the man made a fool of himself. "We should move on, away from the place these corpses have tainted, and rest in a fresh place. I am sure you all are weary from your travels, for I know that I am, but I am not so tired as to rest among the smell of the dead."

Sean sighed as he heard Max's words, he knew that he was right. This wasn't the place to rest, shaking his head he turned away from the group. Walking ahead of them, after all if they wasn't going to rest, what was the point in staying behind? He was the one with more capability in killing anything that tried to attack. Max was low on arrows, and the girls where rather tired.
He kept his arms crossed over his chest as he walked. His mind wondering to the past, a much happier time then those of recent. A smirk creeping on the wolfs lips. He remembered when he and Kerana where children, playing tag and what not. Now, they are playing much more dangerous games.
"Thank you!" Elizabeth almost shouted as she began to walk forward in the direction the dead had come from. There was a trail of necromancy magic that was pretty easy to follow. The man holding Trinity really was a idiot, after all. He had used his magic to animate these dead, yet didn't think about the trail he'd leave right to his doorstep.
Sighing she watched as the wolf pouted away. Truly childish the way he was acting. It was as if the stupid creature wanted to stay and rest. Shaking her head she looked over at Max, walking by his side.
"I don't trust him." she said flatly as she looked behind her, making sure the fox didn't hear her. "What are you going to do about your arrows? It is obvious you don't have many left, and if we are ambushed again like that... What will be your means of protection and defence?" Elizabeth hoped she wasn't prying too much into Max's pride. She didn't mean to, she was just concerned.
(Um... Where is the person playing the bad guy?)

((see ooc)) Though Sean's smile was melting Kerana's heart. Since Elizabeth proved she could keep going she was willing to meet halfway just as Max did plus the stench of all the dead bodies around was really plaguing her sense of smell. Kerana nodded in agreement "Great idea Max!" and followed the others. She turns to Sean and says, "Sorry sweetie but I have to agree with going away from awful stench"

Max began walking beside Elizabeth, glancing back when she did to make sure the other two were following. "One can never trust a dog one meets during travels. It may be following for genuine companionship, or for the food in your pack. Most would just as soon bite the hand as the food it bears. He would be a welcome ally, if he can be trusted." He stepped around a corpse from the fight, watching to make sure it didn't move. "As for my weapons, do not worry yourself. Even without arrows, a bow possesses formidable power. I will restock my quiver when we reach another settlement. I am no arrow maker myself."

Elizabeth smiled as she looked next to her seeing Max, glad to see that he was warming up to her a bit, even if she was a magic user. After all, how many battles have they fought though together now? Two. Only if my momma and papa could see me now.. the sixteen year old thought for a moment.
"That is a bit harsh, Max.. But maybe you have a point..." she said quietly, looking behind her as if the wolf was coming up behind her some where. She watched as Max stepped around one of the corpses, she joining him with stepping around the vile looking thing.
"I would expect we should be coming to a town sometime soon... " she said again, looking behind her seeing the other two walking behind them, sighing she turned her attention forward again. She felt a bit drained, but knew that if she would of shown that the Wolf would only persecute her.
Sean sighed as he walked next to Kerana. Looking ahead he watched as the red head kept turning and looking at him. He knew that they where talking about him, what other reason would she continued to turn and look at him that way for? His ears perked as he listened to the faint words that filled his ears.
Sean's jaw tensed up as he stopped. His blue eyes glaring at the back of Max's head, a small growl emitted from his mouth, only loud enough for Kerana to hear. He shot his eyes at the red head fox, the anger was more then readable on his face. "They don't trust me. I just risked my life for theirs, and they call me some sort of dog. You sure do know how to pick a party, Kera. Sheesh!" he said through gritted teeth, it was taking everything in him not to attack the man who just called him a dog.
Sean dodged over dead bodies when the time came, swallowing at the mess he caused. He sighed and shook his head, his mind running wild. The wound hidden under his shirt burning and itching. He knew it was still bleeding, but luckily his shirt would be tight enough to suppress the flow somewhat. At least until they stop.

Kerana saw the look on his face. "Sean are you alright?" she knew he wasn't but thought it best give him a chance to answer whether he wanted to talk about it or not. She didn't like how the others talked about him like an untrustworthy dog. Not to mention she had to place her trust in Elizabeth not long ago in order the for healing to help. Was that trust lost so easily on her as well?
But why say such a thing? He did risk his life after all... she started to think that perhaps him jumping to conclusions and insisting on his way was the better solution, in which it wasn't. He wasn't thinking about the smell that affected the party as a whole. Although he meant well toward Elizabeth, just assuming that she couldn't go on because she was tired was not helping any. He was the same with Kerana whenever she used a lot of magic, she would appreciate his concern and let him know whether she really could go on or not. Then again even at times she said she could go on he was still insistent on resting. She thought it was him being over protective of her, yet seeing him behave like that toward Elizabeth, it wasn't just her.

"I am but a wanderer sharing an observation. You are the one who said you do not trust him." Max told Elizabeth with a hint of a smile. Having to someone to talk to was helping his mood, casting a bit of light on an otherwise dark day. "I believe he fought well, especially for one who has just stumbled into our group. The same can be said for the fox-girl, and even you, for can any of us say we've been in the group any longer than the others? When I think about it, I have to commend the honor of all of you, fighting to save a girl we all barely know."

Like little satellites her ears turned enough to hear what Max had said. It comforted her to here what he had said about the group as a whole and for her and Sean they were fighting for someone they've never met.
