I only joined Rugby because there was a waiver you had to sign saying, "I realize I can die playing this."

I was nominated to be the Animation Club Sectary and so far I'm running unopposed.

I've sadly become addicted to the animated movie "Cats Don't Dance". I'm not sure why. I like the songs...I'm going to blame the sudden addiction on my friend. Its all her fault for blasting the DVD at 2 in the morning.

I really enjoy hanging out with and talking to my cats!

*gasp* I remember that movie too! I used to watch it all the time as a kid. I wonder what happened to it; we had a VCR version of it, so it's probably dead by now...

I've recently become addicted to watching V for Vendetta. Ever since we watched it in my Government class I've been watching again and again just to hear V's first speech to Evey. The actor's voice is so perfect, and the alliteration was so cool. =) Though the actual messages of the movie are really interesting too.

if i remember right, it was Hugo Weaving behind the mask.

Man hugo weaving has some awesome charectors in his belt. Elrond, V, Mr Smith and Megatron being the most popular known.

I love the presence of the symbolism for 5 and V [roman numeral] in the film. Some are obvious like V making a "v" with the blades in the "you'll be dead by the time you reload" scene, some take a bit of thought [saying the "E" and "V" part of Evey's name quite slowly and responding to her with "ofcourse you are"] and some very subtle [dont want to spoil these for you ;3]

Might wnat to count the V's in your favourite speech though.

I'm come to understand the danger of boredom.

Here I am sitting in my room on a great Saturday night with nothing worth while to do. Clearly this is a problem! Seeing as I'm a witty, friendly, amicable girl who should be spending her time doing something. The feeling of "pathetic loser who has nothing of value to do" echoes through my body and mind, driving all thoughts of "happily..." from my mind. Pathetic and almost pitiful in my own need to share the tragic spilling s that happen to be consuming me at the moment. This is further intensified by the fact that I have sadly become addict to sappy, lovey-dovey, happily ever after romance novels and animated films. In fact, I've gone as far as to actively search such sources of crappy romances and for what! So I can rant on about the weakness that nibbles away at me while I sit moldy in my room!

Now you know why boredom is very dangerous.

Yep yep very dangerous.

I love Cats Don't Dance and V for Vendetta. Though recently I have rediscovered one of my old Disney favorites The Great Mouse Detective!

Those pictures in the allie thread is of Musty, my dog in India.

She's much too intelligent for her own good. Dev is based on her, as is her behavior >>.

I like to travel. I've never left the US, but I've been to half the country and most of the national parks.

Almost died three times in two trips (More than that if you count certain things which I don't), met a lot of locals who I would refer to as 'hicks', been almost stranded in the middle of mountains with no coverage (Five miles from the nearest help, which BTW we didn't know was there until we got unstuck), almost gotten into fights and arrested in numerous states, camped in below freezing temperatures, been nearly attacked by a bear and a 'wild' bull, been too close to comfort to rattle snakes, and pet a bison. If you know nothing about bison, they weigh as much as a car, it was a frightening experience.

I'm not only a boxer, but I am also an excellent swordsman (both on stage and off- I study the actual art of fencing), and I am currently looking to buy a fancy blade.

I always wanted to take up fencing, never seriously thought about it though.

I hate stupid people. Someone started a thread in the GCD about how they didn't like certain Gaian races, when they explained why they didn't like elves, I went off. It was a horrible reason.
