Rising Sun Hotel, Wesker's Room
Wesker was pleased. Moments ago he had gained what he knew would be a very useful asset to further his ambitions towards eventual Globa Saturation. He knew well enough the value of pawns to be moved as he pleased. It was no differant than a game of chess. The game couldn't be carried out withour various pawns to carry out moves. Wesker's agents carried out this same function, and more. There had been times in his carrier, such as the present, where it had been beneficial to remain in the shadows and operate through the arms and legs of others, much like Krauser and Ada Wong years ago, and even more recently Excella. Now he had Frederic Downing as his latest agent, who brought conections rather than skill on the field, but Wesker knew the old saying "The pen is mightier than the sword" and from his experiance, no words could hold more truth.
Momenterally, Wesker turned his head down towards the rug in contemplation before returning his gaze towards the gray haired scientist and adressing him. "That is all well and good, however, I have yet to confied in you my long term goals, other than the fact I seek to save this planet rather than sit back and watch it's resources be consumed by the masses." Wesker sat down in the same chair he had been in before Downing arrived and took a quick view to the cityscape outside before continuing. "It is my intention to acheive two things: the first is to reach the US, and TriCell's mercenary army will serve to accomplish that through a disguise. It is in your hands that I am not identified tomorrow when the plane ships out. Secondly, once we are on US soil, I am most curious to see the performance of the weaponized cure." Wesker then informed Downing to leave and prepare for tomorrow.
