As she walks, she encounters a wild Pokemon.

Maeda sends out Mankey.
Mankey uses Low Kick!

It's greatly weakened.
Maeda throws a PokeBall at the weak Clefairy.
After some struggle, the Clefairy is caught!
Maeda once again runs back to the nearest PokeCenter to put the Clefairy in her storage bin.
"I can't wait until I get the HM Cut. I heard that a trainer wants a Clefairy for a Mr. Mime, one of my favorite Pokemon!"

Maeda returns ro Mt. Moon after placing her new Clefairy in her storage bin.
Super Nerd has been admiring her from afar for quite a while now and he finally builds up the courage to challenge her to a battle.
She accepts and she lets out Bulbasaur.
Super Nerd sends out Voltorb.
Bulbasaur uses Vine Whip.

Maeda stays with her first partner, Bulbasaur and he uses Vine Whip again!

Mankey won!
Maeda earned $100 from the Super Nerd and she wanders further into Mt. Moon. There is no turning back.

Iris finally came to a stop as she entered Mt Moon. Her and her Leafeon were panting heavily. She took a few minutes to recover before she noticed something sticking out from the cave wall. She went over toit and tried to dig it out. The girl managed to get one thing out before the wall caved making her unable to dig for anything else. Iris found a Helix Fossil!
She looked around more only to find a... Excape rope!
