LuLu could not control the waves of mirth that overcame her at seeing Sevillin’s reaction to her surprise attack. His pouting in conjunction with the sopping mess she had made out of his hair and clothing was too much for the rabbit to bear. Even though she lacked a lower body she did a fair job at producing a belly laugh or two. When the sea nymph approached her giggles ad outbursts only grew louder. Each inch he advanced gave her an even nicer look at her handiwork. It seemed as though nothing could stop her howls of amusement.

Then the sharp sound of skin on skin contact rung clear through the air. This was not akin to the pleasant sound of a kiss, a hug, or a friendly handshake.

This was the sound of war.

LuLu’s cheek stung. The soft skin slowly swelled and colored until an agitated pink was splattered across the left side of her face. Think of it as the battle decorations a warrior donned before they joined the slaughter. The tears in the rabbit’s eyes were a remnant of her good humor. That remnant quickly dissolved as LuLu wiped away the obscuring liquid. She did not want Sevillin confusing her joy with pain. He had not just hurt her.

He had just hurt himself.

If Sevvie did not like the water LuLu was going to make sure he got soaked.

She flung herself forward. Her arms were braced for impact. The female raevan used her whole body in order to gain enough momentum and assure herself that the blue frei would land in the kiddy pool.

It was like drowning away a bad memory.

"Zul," she repeated, looking at him with a smile. She pouted slightly for a moment as LuLu declared she was leaving, but then was over it, her attention elsewhere. She waved a few fingers at the departing rabbit, but her eyes lit up as Zul came back, gentlemanly held her hand in his and kissed her hand like in those romance books she read. Lucia glowed. Lucia nodded, not needing an apology as she simply enjoyed the attention. "Nice to meet you too."

As Zul mentioned the dance, her mind flashed back to Rivener, she held her breath, and her eyes flicked towards him. She was determined to get his attention and let him know that she didn't need him. She looked at Zul and smiled, her eyes closing half-way in a seductive manner. She had a goal. "It was okay for a while." She laughed cutely and a little louder than necessary, hoping it would carry to the sunning scorpion. As Zul examined the lace around her arms, she feigned being tickled.

She grinned when she noticed him looking up her body. She gasped honestly, but also exaggeratedly as Zul's hand lifted up the fabric of her top and felt it between her fingers. The hand he had just been holding reached up to hold the rest of the top's cup against her skin. "Zul!" she exclaimed. "Thank you, but --" The sound of flesh against flesh made her turn her head towards the scuffle. Lucia nodded as the baphomet excused himself, even though she fully intended to follow him. LuLu was sweet. Who was that girl slapping her?

Lucia floated behind Zul towards the frei. As LuLu's arms wrapped around the blue-haired girl Lucia's eyes opened wide and she floated directly into a dumbstruck Zul.

LuLu’s amethyst eyes grew in size as a tiny hand wrapped around her upper arm. An unexpected force was behind the diminutive appendage. The rabbit frei was thrown off balance due to her unfamiliar floating height and all the force she had put into thrusting forward. She was flung head first into the kiddy pool. The water was cold and chlorinated. It burned her eyes and throat. That was a mild pain compared to her shoulder being pulled out of socket.

LuLu yet out a scream as a searing ache radiated from her shoulder and spread through her entire chest. Her nerves felt like they were on fire. Then all too quickly, the feeling numbed away to nothing. Her limb rested limply, lifelessly on the bottom of the pool. The ripples their landing had created in the water carried her deadened fingers up and down with a gentle lapping.

In contrast, the rest of her body was spasming and kicking up water violently. The churning liquid gushed out of the pool and soaked anyone nearby. The rabbit could feel her breath growing thin. The last few bubbles of air she possessed escaped her lips. LuLu stared at the wavering orbs as they approached the water’s surface. She quietly willed them back.

Back into her bluing lips.

Back into her constricting chest.

The thought had never crossed her mind before, but now was the perfect time for the idea to rear its ugly head.

Was she going to die?

She did not want to die. Not like this. Not because of a bratty, drama queen. LuLu’s good arm reached up in a last attempt at escaping her demise. Her brown finger found a few salty locks to entwine themselves in. The digits wrapped themselves repeatedly until she had a handful of blue tresses. LuLu then yanked at the rough hair until she felt its possessor lurch forward. She kept pulling with as much force as she could muster until she heard something crack against the edge of the pool. Even then, she kept pulling until she felt the hair give way and rip away from Sevillin’s scalp.

That absolute perfect mix of sultry flirtatiousness that Ebony was just starting to get her face and smile into abruptly melted from existence with an all too familiar sound. The sound of someone getting smacked in the face of which was soon followed by loud screaming and splashing.

Her lilac hair whipped around to find the sudden source of discontent among her guests. Silver orbs grew wide in astonishment as she recognized the bits of colorful clad tan skin swirled with bubbly blue. Sevilin and Lulu?! This seemed just so out of character for them in her opinion of the sweet Freis. So much so that it took Ebony two very long heart beats before she was shouting a rushed apology to Connor and swimming like a mad woman to the other end of the pool.

Although the Brit had shot across the length of the water like a shark, she still felt she was far too slow for the fighting Raevans as she quickly lifted herself up out of the general pool and dashed towards the kiddie one. "SEVILIN! LULU!" the woman screamed, finally the sounds of life guard whistles breaking shrill atop the blaring music.

He should have known. Feeling a firm tug on his ribbon, Sevilin began to thrash and flail against the water and his attacker. The sea fairy was pretty sure he hadn't enough salt to burn Lulu but he tried, fumbling through the water and the dizzying haze to grab for her.

In his adrenaline-fueled haste to escape, he surfaced and took a deep choking breath that made his head ache. "Get away from me, b***h!" Sevilin spat, letting fly saliva and blood and an elbow at Lulu. He hadn't much strength left, but he wasn't going down without fighting.

After bumping into an awestruck Zul, just stayed in one spot watching in disbelief. What were these girls doing?! As their rowdy fighting kicked up water, the cat found herself being splashed with water. The cold harsh chlorinated water felt awful against her warm skin. As LuLu and Sevilin thrashed in the water their splashes reached her hair.

Now Lucia was pissed. This s**t had to stop. Ebony jumped into the pool and was attempting to keep them apart, but without a second pair of hands, she didn't seem to be accomplishing much. Lucia was already wet, so the kitten jumped in the water. She cringed as the cold and foul smelling water splashed against her skin and wet her clothes. The chlorinated air stung her eyes and, as her hair was getting wetter and wetter with the splashing, she shook her head to get it out of her face.

Lucia floated to the brawling raevans and grabbed the first raevan she could. Though she wasn't that strong, she was able to wrap her arms around the long blue-haired girl's torso from behind. Securing her hands together and holding them tightly, she struggled against the flailing girl. She pulled Sevilin, having a bit of leverage because of her secure hold, as she tried to drag the fairy out of the water and away from LuLu. Once she had a hold of this girl, Ebony could secure the rabbit.

The little blue frei was happy to see the fight end, too dizzy and weak to really continue. Not that he stopped himself from meeting Lulu's barbs with his own vulgar obscenities. For once he was glad he had a foul mouth for a guardian.

"Alright, alright! Get off me!" Sevilin shouted not so peaceably to a Ravaen he didn't know, pressing against her chest with an elbow, hoping to persuade her if words did not. But in retrospect it probably wasn't a very good idea since he couldn't seem to find the strength to hold himself up. His head throbbed and his nose grated against cartilage and bone with every movement he made. And he was severely dehydrated and bleeding. His fading vision surveyed the crowd, looking for the pair that brought him against his will in the first place.

"I want to go home! Now!" He screamed in frustration to anyone who would listen.

LuLu’s squirming progressively died away. After two minutes her obscene amount of energy finally gave way to fatigue. She flopped back against Josh and mumbled a faint resignation. She had given up for now. Without adrenaline pumping through her body the pain of her dislocated shoulder was beginning to return. Josh slowly released the rabbit frei. He guided her downwards until she flopped tiredly onto the wet ground.

It was at this time that her guardian noticed her limp arm lying crookedly at her side. Josh gasped before he barked out, “Lu! What did you do to yourself?!!” He could not help but let worry seep in his voice. It was hard to keep an angry tone with two banged up raevans tapped out at the opposing sides of a kiddy pool.

LuLu whimpered as she touched her shoulder, “Hurts.”
