((OMG - Youre actually on when I am... 0____o;;;; ))
Allowing himself to be distracted from his own sorrows, he nodded. "That, we do. Perhaps I could pull a few strings, get a hound. It's either that, or we find another party member who knows how to scent. In the meantime, we should get as far away from this town as we can..."He said, as he started to shimmy out of his oppressively heavy coat. "And I... I will get out of this coat. It is much too hot for this."
He stripped off the coat to reveal a powerful frame; lithe, but still muscular. He stuggled against the urge to hide himself, as the shirt was tight and sleeveless and he didn't like exposing his body. He was probably about as shy as Henry, he just didn't show it much.

Mari watched with mild interest as the two boys in front of her flirted shamelessly. She didn't think of it as a problem. It was kind of cute. They were both really shy, and it was like watching two people offering the other to serve first in a tennis match. Eventually, one would serve, or they would both give up and go off to drink a beer. But no, her attention was pulled away by Davey, who asked if they knew where they were going, and where it was. Mari turned around slightly, as the sisters and the cat children were tagging along behind her. "Zangshin, of course. Besides the capital city, it's the largest and richest city in Zeffria. It's likely that someone like the princess, who is used to being in richer areas, would be attracted to that place. And only a rich person could afford to kidnap someone in such high status as her, if she was kidnapped. Therefore, it's logical to go there first. Besides, it's close, and I have relatives who live there, who'll probably let us stay with them." Speaking for so long tired Mari out, so she turned around and continued to stump after the older boys, her tongue almost hurting with the effort she had just made.

The oldest of them looked back, and raised an eyebrow. "That was... ridiculously astute of you. I'm surprised I didn't think of it. Maybe while we're there, we can get ourselves a hound, like I was planning. If it's a Clan trained hound, we won't have to carry supplies."
He actually smiled at her, and thought to himself. Well she's not really useless. Kind of caught me off gaurd, actually.

(Not for long, I have to go to work soon. 3 night shift) "Oh, ya well, umm...uhh...ya." Henry stuttered as Whistle removed his jacket. "Well, it is warmer down here than up in the north." He said slowly and quietly, realizing how obvious and stupid it was to say such a thing. He cleared his throat as he began pondering what his new behavior meant, although, it was completely more obvious to everyone else. His attention was immediately consumed by the Swan Girl's logical explanation, "Hmm, that is logical. You'll need to lead the way though, I do not know how to get there." He hesitated. "What was your name again?" He asked shyly, feeling a bit guilty that he may or may not forgotten her name. He smirked a little, trying to not feel so stupid, but his mind wandered back to Whistle. Does everyone think of a friend in such a way? I wouldn't know...

Whistle couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the comment about the climate, still smiling. "Of course - that is usually how things happen." He confirmed, and lovingly ruffled Henry's hair.
He was surprised at the softness of the hair, and almost had to restrain himself from continuing to touch it. He stuffed his hands in his pockets instead, and whistled, trying to distract himself from a more pressing physical problem....

"I know my way around human psychology." Mari answered shortly, and shrugged. It was true, after all. Scare tactics, enemy plans, when someone was lying...she knew it all. Human psychology had interested her as a child, and it still interested her now. And finally, her interest was paying off. "Keep in mind, though, that we have no money. We'll have to find work if we want to get a hound." She glanced up at Henry. "Don't worry about it. I couldn't remember your name at first, either. But now I know that it's..." She paused. "...Kaninchen. Yep. That's what it is. Anyway, I'm Mari." She smiled as she watched the two of them return to their shameless flirting. Cute.

Henry squirmed a little as his hair was ruffled. "I really do not like people touching my hair." He said with a flare of frustration. One of his biggest pet peeves was people playing with his ears, and getting that close to them without his knowledge was definitely crossing the line. Although, it was nice. Someone was giving Henry positive attention, which he did enjoy. "I apologize." Feeling guilty about his small outburst, he wanted to make it up to him somehow, but instead, was puzzled by his new nickname. "Kaninchen?" He questioned, tilting his head a bit in confusion. "Either way, a bit of labor never hurt anyone, so it sounds like a plan to me."

Serrenedy stopped dead when Davey nuzzled her. "Your boyfriend is suicidal" She loudly enough for her sister, and poibly those in front to hear.
"Rennie Chan-don't do that." Sally blushed.
"Do you like him?"
Sally blushed "Of course I like him he's my friend."
"And he's male, so it's your boyfriend. As for you" She turned to Davey. "Break up with her or break her heart, I break everybone in your body six times over, got it?"

Aisha looked at all of them once more and then she resumed looking down at the ground, keeping to herself while the others talked amongst themselves. Hearing their next destination, she thought to herself. Another city..I wonder if it's as big as the one I just left. I hope not since big cities tend to attract bad people and I wouldn't want to hurt anyone that tried to hurt us. She shook her head again to get rid of the thought of her hurting someone, and instead she thought about what they would do once they got to the city. Mari said that they might be able to stay at her relatives home, which she hoped would be the case but sleeping outside wouldn't bother her either, since she had done it for two years. Hearing that they would have to work, she simply nodded and said. "I can work..It's what I've always done to survive."

Withdrawing both physically and emotionally from the hare, Whistle looked a little tense, grumbling to himself. "Labor isn't a problem. But I told you - I was going to get the hound from a freind. We'll need money for other things, but not the dog."
He had been frustrated to begin with at the pace, but he knew that the other smaller children couldn't possibly deal with that rigorous a trip, so he was stuck moseying. He hated moseying. He wanted to lope along like he normally did.
He was beginning to grow rather irritable in general, due to his mixed up feelings about the Hare and the warm weather that he wasn't used to.
Davey's eyes widened in shock and he blushed profusely... "I like her and all, but not that way - not in a boy and girl way... I like her like a freind....." He said, and looked nervous. "I nuzzle all of my freinds - Moxie always did, and I figure that she knew more than I do about having freinds. She had lots of them - even the dogs liked Mox."

Henry's ears stiffened, and twitched and swiveled around. He overheard the conversation between the sisters and Davey and grinned. It was cute how overprotective the older sister was of Sally. He was really envious of them, it almost saddened him. He always wished for an older sibling or a parent to talk to about anything and everything. In fact, he felt like he needed to talk to someone to help mull over his own thoughts, and he knew just the person to talk to, "Mari, how long will it take to get to your relative's house, I kinda wanted to talk to you about something, seeming as how you probably know more about the human mind then I do." He spat our rather quickly. Henry did admire the girl, she seemed far more intelligent then he was, and probably more mature, she seemed like a good person to talk to.

Mari nodded in a sort of 'Yeah, that's good, then' way as Whistle reminded him that he had strings he could pull. "Of course. I wasn't paying much attention just then. Sorry." She then turned to Henry. Yep, she knew what he wanted to talk about. It was easy. She looked up at the sun. "At the pace we're going, we won't make it until after dark." She frowned. She wanted to fly. Turning around, she half-called to the people behind them, "Hurry up, unless you want Sally to get murdered." Go button-pushing. Mari knew how to do it.

Serrenedy started to grow out her Anima-not remembering Davey near her talons. She did stop when Sally whimpered on her back. "If that's a threat, I sugjest you get life insurence." Shesnarled as she quickened her pace, "Squirt" She added coldly.

She picked up the pace when Mari called out to them and soon she was walking next to Mari herself, though she didn't speak to her since Mari didn't seem like the kind of person who would want to talk to her. She didn't mind though, she let her go on this adventure so she was glad either way. And she was surrounded by a bunch of different +Anima, each one was really unique in their own way. She started to wonder what made her unique among them. Davey was a cat as well so that was out, she was probably the youngest and definitely the smallest, even Mari was taller. Maybe it was her youth that made her unique.

Mari shrugged, not glancing back. "I'm just saying, there are some pretty bad people in the woods, and she's a +Anima." She would have stopped there, but then Serrenedy had to add the 'Squirt' comment. Mari promptly stopped.
Krakatoa, which had been denied an explosion, was rumbling.
Mari did not turn around. Such a thing would be unprofessional. Instead, she kept her hands from trembling with rage and spoke in a dangerously low voice. "I am a squirt, aren't I? That means I'm not a threat, doesn't it?" Her face was turned down, her expression hidden by the shadow from her bangs. It didn't take much to realize that her size meant nothing, she was a threat, and Serrenedy was about to be on the wrong end of her wrath.
