The trio walked for miles now.The sky was dark now but they could tell from the arches and terrain around them that the monustary was close."Just another couple miles it seems." Shisui stated as they stopped for a second."Tell me...Sigfried..."Shisui stated"Are there any enemies of your church that we should be worried about?"He asked to the questionable face of Shif and the concerned face of Sigfried."No...not that i know of."Sigfried stated his face told a much deeper story but the two ANBU wouldnt investigate deeper at the moment.

The trio walked through the final architectural structure to behold the sight of the mountain monustary.To the suprise of the ANBU duo it was but a trio of rock built shacks."This..."Shif started"Is your monustary..."Shisui finished staring sideways at Sigfried."Yes....but its all we can do bieng a church and all." Sigfried stated arching out from the duo only stopping a few steps from them."And about that question earlier...there is someone we have to be worried about....more a group of people then a single person."Sigfried stated turning to face the two ANBU."Oh?"Shisui stated to get an answer of a nod from Sigfried."There is an organization of shinobi in your village that have been harassing the church for months now...we didnt take it as much more then protests against a foreign religion invading your culture."He paused and grimiced a little"But then we started finding dead bodies around our church sanctuary."He paused again this time the emotion on his face was fear."They had notes tagged on a Shinobi throwing knife..you call these Kuni?"He said the two ANBU stifled giggles at the mans ignorance."Anyway..thats not important...the notes warned that any missionary of the false god to step from the doors of the sanctuary will be killed as a warning."He stopped and sighed."We didnt report these incidents....because well...we'd have to leave to get to the authorities."Sigfried paused now seeming more concerned."The name signed on the notes where all different..but they are all embrazened with the seal of one organization...."The Devout Slayers"...or so they call themselves."Sigfried stopped talking now...in fact...he was shaking."Dont worry...they wont harm you."Shisui stated as the two ANBU walked towards the three building monustary."You go ahead and do what you came to do...we'll take care of anyone that comes for you."Shif stated.....they both switched to serious mode now.....but now all that was left was to make it through the night.

Ryu stood at the foot of the great Mt Oto, it was here that he would train himself and improve his physical toughness, here was where he would begin his long and arduous training to become a master ninja. He knew of a stable area where he could train peacefully, a grassy area with some trees at the foot of the mountain and where he was unlikely to be interrupted. He found it easily, he had been here many times as it was the perfect place to hide out and play games. He sat down and opened out the scroll the Kage had given him. 'Okay...lets start at the top.
Push-ups

Ryu got into position and began his push-up exercise. His muscles cried out at first but eventually he managed to push past it and managed to do some 10 push-ups before his arms started aching and he had to sit down and rest for a bit.

It was earily quiet as the two ANBU sat at the door to the middle hut while inside the missionary meditated in silence.The two ANBU meditated on thier own aswell seeminglessly unattentice to thier surroundings.This was the oldest trick in the ninja book so to speak. Deception...one of the three pilars of a good ninja. All the while seeming to meditate they where really waiting...but for what...only time could tell at this point...they just had to wait.

It seemed so quiet to the both of them...however some unruly crickets in the rocks detered the Anzan ANBU from concentrating while ironicly the kenkomishi ANBU was as calm and centered as if he had done this his whole life. "The animal fighter who studies animals is distracted by mear crickets.....yet the human tape recorder who could become deaf at the drop of a pin can block it out...ironic..." The Anzan thought as he closed his eyes once again..trying to center himself and concentrate once more.

The ears of the two ANBU pricked at the sound of the crickets yet again."Mangy pests..." Shisui stated eyes still closed and Shif slowly nodded without opening his eyes."I was so close to figuring out the point of life and those damn crickets broke my calm..."Shif stated imagining what cricket tasted like with a kunai stuck in it. Both ANBU breathed a sigh of discontent in perfect sync then went back to calming themselves.

If crickets werent the only problem....now there where a family of cheerful screeching owls."Just gets better and better." Shisui stated not moving as much as a finger."This time i couldve learned the ultimate jutsu that wouldve made me a god......i couldve touched the golden scroll..."Shif stated...a blood vessel in the kenkomishi's forhead seemed as if it where to burst at the slightest breeze. The ANBU sighed dishearteningly again and in perpetual sync as the last time as they found thier center yet again.

Shif and Shisui could only sigh discontently as a herd of elephants passed through the mountainous mnustary."Are you kidding me..."Both said blood vessels almost bursting at the suden monstrous noise of the four legged garbage trucks. They sighed discontently as the monstrousities went on thier way as the two ANBU centered themselves yet again.
(Yes..i compared elephants to garbage trucks....because all is quiet...til a giant hydralic machine comes to relieve your trashcan of its smelly cargo....)

Ryu got himself in position once again and began his pressups. It was easier this time, Ryu made a point of not counting this time and just going until his arms gave way and it worked, he continued for some time, the sun beat down on him, his face began sweating and he got hot. His arms grew tired slowly and he could feel his muscles working as he pushed himself again and again. He was amazed at how long he managed to go on before eventually stopping to take a break. He sat in the grass and wondered how he had done it, did he improve that much after the first stint? All he knew was that he was beginning to feel stronger already.

Ryu continued to push himself, breathing deeply as he exercised his arms and chest. Sweat beaded his face but he was determined to go on and become stronger, that way everyone would have to recognise him, especially his father. Ryu wondered what he would end up doing once he became a ninja. his mind explored the posibilities of all the different missions he might be asked to undertake and the adventures he would have completing them, he was almost baffled at how someone could make a living doing something that amazingly cool.

Ryu continued to train his body and become stronger. He could feel every push bring him closer to becoming a real ninja. Of course this wasn't just training his body, it was training his mind. so he would become more disciplined and also prove that he could take instructions. He became ever more focused on the task at hand, he lost track of time and everything that was going on around him, his mind almost entered a completely different state of being, such was his focus. Eventually however he bgan to feel the strain and was forced to stop and rest for a while.

Ryu began his exercises again he went for a little while before his arms cramped up and he crashed on the floor, flailing randomly to try and get rid of the pain. Eventually he managed to work out the cramps but they had left his arms somewhat sore. He had been reminded that his body still had a limit especially since he was still a child, he couldnt push his training too hard or he would suffer worse injuries than this. He sat and rested a little more and would remember to stretch out his muscles before begining again.
