Grabbing Ilonka's hand with his own, he forced her hand down, feeling the vein in his temple pulse. "Don't 'Oh Oni' me woman. I'm telling you I don't care." he felt as if he was lying to himself. Because there was that tiny thought in the back of his mind saying that he did in fact care. They were finally in front of his cabin again for the umpteenth time.
"What do you want from me?" he was suddenly eerily quiet, "Are you just doing this to tease me?" he gave up. He couldn't keep up with her.

Gasping, and pulling herself back stumbling slightly, she looked at him in suprise.
Clutching her hands to her chest, she turned her head away from him.
How could he?
What was his problem?
Her eye's burned as she closed them, feeling true blue tears pick at the backs of her eye's.
Maybe this was a bad idea.
Maybe this was a sign, for what could be held in the future.
Maybe it would only get worse, and lead to abuse.
She couldn't handle that; again.
Her body crumpled, a small whimper as her eye's glanced at him, her head still turned away.
One tear began to stream down her plush cheek.

"Oh dear God." Onisim said wearily, "I know your tricks by now, don't try using your fake tears on me." he rubbed his temple, not realizing she was in face really crying. "Let's just get inside and go to sleep or something." he said, opening to door for her to go in first.

Not moving from where she stood, Ilonka hugged her arms, her eye's narrowing as well as her brow furrowing.
How harsh he was.
She was used to his usual rugged way's, but this hit home.
Image's of her past that had been reppressed for year's began to surface.
Flashing in her mind, behind her eyelids.
Wincing she gritted her teeth, as more tears began to tip over down her rosey cheeks.
Stiffling a gasp as a strong image of pain panged in her mind.
Her ear's pulled back hard, her tail tucked under her deer body.

Onisim blinked as tears started to spill. She wasn't playing tricks now was she? Was it something he said? "Ilonka...?" he said uncertainly, not knowing what was wrong. "...Are you alright?" the male moved closer to her, putting his hands on her small shoulders slowly, unsure of himself. He looked into her golden eyes, feeling slightly concerned, "You should go inside. It gets cold out here at night." and that was probably the stupidest thing he could say to her at this time.

Whimpering, a stuttered gasp as he touched her, a scream rang in her head.
Clutching her head, she turned away from him, teeth chattering at times.
Breathing harder, her chest rising and falling, she avoided his eyes.
Why was this happening?
Why now?
She had worked so hard to forget what had happened..
This couldn't happen.
She was stronger than this.
Her finger's dug into her skin, as tears rushed down her face.

When he got no response from her, he was at a loss at what to do. Onisim just did the only thing he could really think of.
He would have to just carry her inside and then he would decide from there.
Oni picked her up, carrying her like how a mother carries her child. He patted her back trying to soothe her but thought he was probably hitting her too hard so he stopped. He set her down in front of the fire that was thankfully still going as he decided to boil some water to make some tea.

"D-don't hurt me..." she stammered as he gathered her into his arms.
She didn't even know where it came from.
Her weak little body clung to him, shivering as tears slide onto his body.
His rough hand on her back made her gasp, as it provided comfort and suprise.
Curlinbg her body up as she was set next to the fire, her eye's sqooze shut, teeth chattering.

"I thought I told you I don't hurt women." he grunted as he sat down next to her. "Why would you think that I would hurt you anyways?" Onisim watched her, "So...was it something I did?" he asked quietly, "Cause if it was, I apologize. Feel free to slap me or whatever."

Turning, turned away from him, her hair slide off of her shoulder and layed behind her.
Crimson eye's peeked open, water glazed as she stared into the fire.
How did this happen?
Blurred memories popped in her head, a little sniffle as she took a small swallow.
Her shoulders shuddered, slender legs curling.
How she wished for her precious doll when she was young that she would cling to in her times of insecurity.

Alright. She didn't want to talk. He would just have to give her time. The kettle whistled loudly, breaking the silence. Onisim poured a generous amount of water into the cup, drizzling in some honey as well. He sat down again, holding it out for her, "Here. And if you want you can go to sleep on my bed tonight." he would sleep on the floor tonight. Not that he minded.

Gingerly taking the tea in her hands, she blew on it too cool the temperature.
Sipping at it, her body relaxed and felt warmth fill her insides.
A sigh of content as it soothed her mind and soul.
Blinking her eye's, Ilonka turned to Oni, a meek smile on her face.
"Thank you Oni.." she whispered, looking to his eye's.
Pausing a moment, she stared at her cup of tea, watching the steam swirl.
"Oni.." she stopped short, biting her tongue.
"Oni.. sleep with me tonight.. please.." her eye's looked to his sheepishly.

"E-excuse me?" Onisim spluttered, wondering if he heard her correctly. "Sleep with you...?" he avoided her gaze, rubbing the back of his neck feeling extremely uncomfortable with her request. Clearing this throat he said, "The bed. It's too small for two taurs. It's impossible." he stayed silent, thinking it was better not to speak anymore.

Her eye's stayed on him.
"I'm small. I don't take up much room." she smiled meekly.
She didn't want to be alone with her thoughts for the night.
A man would be able to ease them away though, expecially one she felt safe around.
Her little body curled up more, sleek leg's folding under as if to proove how little of space she took up.
"But.. if it really bother's you.." she looked away from him, sipping at her tea again.

Onisim didn't know if he should say yes or no. On one hand, it would make Ilonka feel better, but on the other, the thought made him extremely uncomfortable. He knew that as a man, it was his job to make a woman comfortable, but he wasn't sure about this certain request. He went back and forth, debating if he should or if he shouldn't.
