Erron shrugged and said "Yes, at least, I hope that's what he meant...still....and if you could, it would make me more at ease about the mace, you can never tell if something is cursed or blessed until its identified or you know enough about it to identify it right off hand...as for the thief, more ale and food for us." Erron chuckled at the sudden rumbling eminating from his abdomen.
He continued "I honestly feel that if I get to sleep after a good meal it will take a raging Troll...throwing boulders...on fire to wake me, and if Ronus' Order doesn't prohibit it we might measure each others' endurance in a drink off!" he winked slyly

"OH now them's fightin' words there, laddie!" the dwarf priest chuckled, though a serious tone behind his voice, "I'll have no pajama wearin' manling outdrinkin' me. Off ta the Thirsty Haggler, aye? We'll drink the night away! I know the barkeep there, Golfnus. Good fella, jes' a bit daft though."

Selce while not having ever drank much, she found it dulled her mind to much, smiled and was happy to hear the two. "If you will Ronus?" She asked and held a hand out for the mace.
She didn't wait for the dwarf but headed for the taproom. She sat a table in the corner and waved a hand to bring the serving girl. "We'll need five ales." She told the lass and she left to get the mugs.

Erron walked into the noisy tavern beckoning to the remainder of their party to join them, gently pushing his way through a small crowd of unruly drinking adventurers and pulling out a seat at the table Selce had secured for them, he stopped the serving girl before she got the ale and said "And bring us some food, its been a long trek to town." He thanked her and sat down sighing. Ronus, Prometheus and Canaya joined them shortly.

Canaya disappeared from the table for a short while before returning, her lanky arm wrapped around the arm of a well-dressed man. She smiled, having already drunk a mug of ale more than her small constitution could allow.
"Well, friends *hic*, I hate to say it, but I think we'll have to part ways from here. I intend to return home to the woods in the east. Hiraldo here has a small convoy heading back near my homeland, so I'll be traveling with him! Hehe! Anyways, the best of luck to you all and I pray that we do not meet under the same circu-*hic*, circum-*hic*... thing."
With a giggle and a wave, she disappeared with the tall man out the door of the inn.
"Heh, elves, they jest cannae hold their ale," Ronus glanced at Prometheus from behind his frosted mug," What're you lookin' at, pointy-eared, daisy-eater?"

As the thief, and ranger left, Prometheus was the last elf. He sat there thinking and staring into space, until the dwarf called him out.
"Why nothing at all, short-fellow. Although I would be looking at your head if you were a bit taller," He replied with a smile and nod, downing the mug of ale in front of him. "Hops, one of my favorite plants," He winked at the brute.

"Feh!" He grunted as he threw back another mug of ale, leaving a frothy mustache attached to his own bushy hair.
Current Time, and Status: 11:00 p.m. The party has 492 gold left after purchasing rooms, food and ale for the night.

Erron wakes during the night unable to sleep peacefully, he walks outside into the cool night air and breaths deeply "Just what the hell did that man mean?" He stares at the full moon longing to be lost in his thoughts of the night.
"We'll probably have to check in at that monastery before we head for Haven where we can get some real information....I'll see if anyone around town has seen or heard anything first thing tomorrow..." Erron mutters to himself.
He turns back to the door of the inn and sneaks back into his room.

Selce listened to the light banter between Prometheus and Ronus. Selce finished her mug and stood. "If you boys don't mind I'll see you in the morn." She started up the stairs to her room, and soon was deeply asleep.
Selce woke up with light streaming in through the only window. She grabbed her nose at the smell. "Of course I get the room with alley below it and then wind blowing in." She said and left her room quickly. She went down to the taproom and waited, the serving girl came by but she went away soon.

Current Time and Date is 7:00 a.m., 12th of Autumn's Grace
The group is now fully rested and prepared to take on the day, all wounds have been healed and all spells re-memorized.
There are three new patrons on the first floor of the tavern, each seeming to wish to speak with you.
Patron #1: A well-dressed woman wearing priestly vestments. She is fairly attractive, though she holds a very distinctive air about her.
Patron #2: A nobleman clad with an iron chestplate, he seems to be a merchantman of some repute in the town.
Patron #3: A strange visitor, wrapped in a black cloak, it is difficult to discern his facial features due to his low cowl, but his elf-ears deceive his race.

As Prometheus wakes up, he immediately goes to leave the inn, and sit with nature once again. As he was walking he saw three patrons. Being an elf, he went to the elf in the black cloak.
"Hello, I'm Prometheus," He said greeting the cloaked elf. "And you are?" He questioned.

"Greetings," the cloaked elf said to the earthly druid,"I trust that a well-armed and well-prepared soul such as yourself is eager for adventure and treasure, am I correct in my assumption."
The glowing flash of green from beneath his cowl noted the appearance of desire from the elven druid, even if it was extremely subtle.
"Ah, I thought as much. I trust you have heard of the recent theft of the Golden Scales from the temple here in town? No? Well, last night, the priests were caught off guard and they had no idea that the thieves had made off with their sacred relic."
The cloaked elf grinned as he knew he had all the attention he needed.
"They are offering a fantastic reward for its safe return. I know of the location of the brigands who stole the artifact, though I am not nearly of the strength or power needed to accomplish such a feat on my own. I dare not go to the guards, lest they suspect I had a hand in it; they are a very suspicious lot. So, are you interested in this?"

Prometheus was truly excited for this adventure.
"Well, what's this reward?" He asked wanting top know before he made any agreements. Then he had the thought of his, acquaintances. "And also, I do not know if my traveling companions wish to accompany me yet," He explained.
Then a quick smile flashed across his face,"Just in case, what is this relic?"

"I do not know for certain what the reward is, I only know that they are offering a large sum of gold for its safe return. The artifact, as I stated, is the Golden Scales, a relic said to be handed down from the high priest of the god of Trades from generation to generation. It measures the weight of time and effort with its tipping gravity."
He leaned in closer.
"Go, tell your friends, there is a group of pirates who stole this item, they are currently located at the Port, on board the ship, the Groaning Ogre. They will likely attempt to kill anyone attempting to board their ship due to their suspicion. As for my involvement... I am simply a bystander in this city who makes a living selling information to those who need it. This is a special case however, and is free of charge, due to its 'sacred' nature."
With that, the cloaked figure stepped up, bowed, keeping his face veiled, then left without another word.

Erron ambled down the stairs quietly yawning to himself, seeing Selce and Prometheus both having awoken before him, Prometheus in deep discussion with an elf, Selce poring over her spellbook with the Fireball scroll, a quill in her hand scribbing down the magic runes for repeat use, in different corners of the tavern a Priestess and what looked like a merchant of one of the better off stores in the district.
Erron briefly wondered if their requests were similar if for different causes...he chose to go with the priestess who beckoned him over subtly with a glance.
Erron thought to himself "Well I guess chances are against me being lied to by two "priestesses" in a row.
