Dylan, I don't think Amelia and Tibarn will hand a small group of cavalry for Kieran to lead since he's new to the world, no matter how experience he is in the military and battles. I think they will be okay of putting Kieran under Isadora's guidance since Amelia did appoint her as a officer commander of a group and she's a cavalry. >>;

I still don't think they will let Kieran lead a group. You can say it's similar to how Rath told Hector what to do in Change of Plans. >>; So you may want to edit your post about it.

Whether or not it was discussed that Kieran would go on to lead a cavalry division after the event, it doesn't give him room to usurp soldiers from other units just to have an elite squad to lead. Given the people involved, it'd be either Leon or Isadora's soldiers. Wallace's soldiers would've been reassigned to Leon, Isadora, and Amelia. (Probably mostly Amelia due to similar fighting styles, but that's my opinion.)

Besides, neither Amelia nor Tibarn know Kieran or his combat abilities. They aren't going to let him be the leader of anything if they don't know how he operates, how he deals with leadership and people, and what his fighting skills are, especially if he still has absolutely no clue who they even are, who they're fighting, why they're fighting them, or the enemy's general tactics. It's a bad idea all-around. So no, he wouldn't have a little unit to lead. He'd be operating under someone else.

So anyways dunno if Rath mentioned it but I've decided best option is just to have Kieran go back to Eyris and chat with Vaida about positions in the guard.

Also Tibarn SHOULD know who Kieran is, it's kinda weird actually that he doesn't considering how Kieran was second in command of an elite and famous group of knights dedicated to protecting the Royal Family of Crimea and as such would been in every war meeting Geoffry was in... and he kinda says his name a lot at a crazy loud volume level... the fact that Tibarn doesn't recognize who he is means that when he was King he was deaf, blind and whatever information network he had was kinda s**t at it's job.

Anyways IF Tibarn suddenly remembers who Kieran is can I get a letter of reccomendation from him to take to Vaida?

Second in command of a group he didn't really work with or care much about on a personal level. Kieran's a minor character, and Tibarn had no interaction with him. It's been five years since he's seen Tellius and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have known anything about Kieran even if he had stayed here.

Why?

Because information networks only tell you important s**t. Kieran was not, by comparison to nearly everyone around him, important s**t.

And no, he wouldn't necessarily be at those war meetings. Geoffrey was an essential character throughout most of the games; you're placing much greater importance on Kieran's role than was ever really displayed in the games, and making a lot of assumptions about my character in a rather nasty and offensive way.

Deal with it. You're a common cavalryman right now.

Look, I just saw his quit post and then I look in here and I see Vaida's name tossed around. I just responded to his PM, but please do not drag me into this. I don't know if this is what set off the quitting, I don't care, just leave me out of it. Even if it's already settled or whatever, I'm just being clear now just in case.

We're apologized for what's going on, but we can assure you that you're not being dragged into this. It's just that Dylan wanted to give his character more spotlight than what he intended in the RP event.
