A Lucrehulk is just an armored and gunned up freighter manned by droids with really cheap targeting software. A Destroyer is a purpose build warship manned by clones bred and genetically engineered to be outstanding warriors and usually commanded by a Force Using Jedi. The Destroyer has a better chance of surviving a battle with a Lucrehulk.

But on a personal level, the "non-higher-ups" anyway, will be on okay-terms.

Actually Cale, is right that I'm not going to produce new versions for those ships, but for completely different reasons.
1. The Lucrehulk-class Battleship has a surprisingly high survival rate. Take the Battle of Coruscant for instance. Among the thousands of seperatist ships thrown into the battle only a few dozen (>100) were Lucrehulks, and if you watch the Lucrehulk is the one class of ship we don't see getting destroyed in Episode III.
2. The Lucrehulk-class continued to serve nearly completely unaltered for over 20 years after the clone wars in fleets of the CSA and Rebel Alliance. One ship, the Fortressa, launched the first attack on the first Death Star while it was under construction, deploying over 500 X-wings before being destroyed by the battle station's super-laser.
3. The Lucrehulk-class has a shield grid that delivers more protection than that of the Devestator-class from A New Hope, and over 13x the dedicated military star destroyers fielded by the CIS like the Recusant-class.
So you don't need new variants just properly use the old ones.

The ship update is another reason why I would have suggested setting the RP back to an earlier time.
No need for AU updates of ships.
