"It's nice to meet you!" Lucia said. She could tell that Irura didn't like being stared at by the demons and threw a glare their way, making them look away. "So what's a half breed doing in the demon army? I thought most demons didn't trust them." The way she said "most demons" would make anyone suspect that she was different.

As Hikari pushed him away, he blushed furiously, feeling like he'd just violated her or something. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking away in embarassment, even after she'd kissed his cheek. He looked back at her, noticing her by the door now and apparently waiting for him. He wasn't too sure for a moment, believing a little space would do them good after that, but from what he could tell, she wanted him to come along. He sighed and smiled faintly before walking over to her, closing the door behind him before they began walking around.

Irura's eye twitched. "Then I suppose most demons are idiots . . . since I was designed to be their main strategist." She shook her head and downed the rest of her drink. "Not that I'd expect most demons to know that."

Hikari skipped out the inn and laughed at the slight breeze blowing her hair around. She looked back and noticed Hei, standing there awkwardly. She giggled and took a few steps back before intertwining her hand with his. " It's okay. I was just sort of embarrassed. " she said, blushing as she recalled the moment. " If it helps..... " she said, drifting off before leaning over to give him a kiss. A few people stared but Hikari continued for a minute before stepping back and blushing beet red. She held his hand and walked down the village, seeing people rushing around and the like. It was nice to see something new. " Where do you think we should go? " she asked, smiling warmly.

Hei scratched his cheek when she brought up the moment, and he was actually a taken by surprise when she kissed him and held it for a while. Of course, he kissed her back, making sure not to go really deep with it, but still pour his love and affection into the moment. He held her hand a bit more tightly, but not enough to hurt her or bring discomfort, and followed after her as she led him throughout the village. When she asked where they should go, he shrugged, not knowing himself. "Uh... Let's check out the tavern." He smiled, wondering if Hikari would get upset from the request. He wasn't going to drink, but there was possibly some information he could gain and possibly work.

Hikari thought about his suggestion for awhile, not ever really enjoying being in them. If Hei wants to...maybe it'll be better here... she thought and smiled at him. The kiss she had recieved just after the one she had initiated left her feeling giddy and blushing like crazy. She could still slightly feel the tingle but she blushed again and tried not to think about it. She walked and walked together with Hei until they reached the tavern. As she stepped in, she looked around, not feeling that she belonged here. She sat down on a nearby seat and waited for Hei to react.

Hei watched Hikari sat down and released her hand, smiling over at her as he leaned on the table. "Would you like something to eat, love?" He smiled widely, feeling much better from that kiss. Actually, it had made him much happier than any other time in his life. He looked around the room, noticing only a couple guys that could actually create a problem and ruin the moment. He just hoped they weren't too drunk already. Hell, it was only noon...

Hikari smiled at Hei as he leaned over and asked her what she wanted to eat. " I don't exactly know what to eat! " she said, sticking her tongue out. She then preceded to look around. There was a slightly strange smell in the air, probably because the surrounding people had taken in a lot of booze. Frowning disapprovingly at one that was exceptionally drunk, she frowned and turned back to Hei, feeling better as she saw his face. " Is there anything you'd eat? " she asked, not feeling sure about food coming from this kind of place.

Lucia sighed. "I hate it here. Prejudice is so high because of a war that no one knows what caused. If this army treats half breeds like experiments just because of their angelic blood, then I'm tempted to leave. I cannot work for someone who treats anyone like that, whether they're demon, half breed, or angel," she said.

Irura stared incredulously at Lucia. She quickly looked around the room and leaned close. "Follow me." She said, standing quickly. She walked quickly out of the bar. Outside, she looked at Lucia again. "Come with me to the palace, there is someone that I wish for you to meet." She lead the way through various back alleys not wishing to be noticed on the streets.

Lucia followed Irura, confused. "Er...The palace?" she asked. She had never personally been in the palace, and was a bit nervous about going there. Only her superiors ever went there. She would wait in the barracks until she was called by the superior officers. Occasionally, when she was off duty, she would go to the town, but never to the palace.

Irura lead her to a large and rather elaborate door, which she knocked on. A voice inside called. "Come in." Irura opened the door and lead Lucia in . . . where the prince Isamu sat at his desk contemplating over a book which he quickly hid.

Lucia was surprised by where Irura had brought her. Though she had never met him, she knew who the person in front of her was, Isamu, the prince. She prayed that the shock wasn't too obvious and that she wouldn't start babbling like an idiot, which she did sometimes when she was nervous. She wanted desperately to say something, anything, but she couldn't get her voice to work. Speak, Lucia! Speak! she thought.

Hei looked up at the ceiling as he thought about what kind of food would be good to eat. He could see a few thoughts playing out behind Hikari's eyes as he looked back and laughed for a second, moving forward a bit to kiss her cheek. "I'll get us something good to eat..." He stepped away and walked over to the counter, talking to the man behind it about jobs and eventually food. He walked back to Hikari and sat down next to her, propping his elbow up on the table and setting his chin in his palm. "No jobs..."

Isamu looked a little irritated until he noticed Irura near the door. "Ah, Irura, I see you've brought a guest." A smile broke across his face and his visage lightened. "Please, come in. To what do I owe the pleasure?"
Irura closed the doors behind Lucia and then slowly pushed her forward. "Please Lucia, give him the opinion you have of the war?"
