Name: Jibanza Image: Personality: Jibanza is the daughter of the Goddess of the Hunt, which has resulted in her having exceptionally good hunting skills (possibly down to her Seer powers, which she has yet to fully realise). Unfortunatly though, she doesn't like to use them, as she's quite a timid creature who has love for all living things. At some points in her life she's gone so far as to try and live on plants alone, but that didn't work. So whenever she does go hunting for prey, she gives thanks to the poor animal that is going to have to give up its life in order to sustain her.

Personality: Strong and silent, he tends to try and block out his emotions and instead be very calculative about his actions. He harbours a fierce loyalty to his pride and clan.

Name: Cheko [Laughter]
Personality: Upbeat and outgoing she's everyones friend. She loves to laugh and flirt and live life to the fullest, not thinking about the future only living in the now.
Lion: Girl 2
Name: Hasidi [Envy]
Personality: She seems friendly enough on the outside, willing to help any lion who needs it, even if it's just to lend an ear so they can talk about their troubles. But on the inside she's a seething ball of anger and jealousy towards everyone who has something she wants. She hates being that way and so tries to hide it deep inside, putting on a friendly front.

Lion: boy 3
Name: Ahanu, an Algonquin name meaning "he laughs"
Personality: Ahanu's mother claims that he was born smiling, and that he giggled while she cleaned him after his birth. Regardless of whether the story is true or not, Ahanu is rarely seen without a smile plastered across his pretty face. Spoiled by his sisters and mother, he doesn't easily accept failure or rejection but is often charming enough to get what he wants anyway. Despite this, he is not manipulative or otherwise malicious in his arrogance. Self-assured and nearly oblivious to his own faults (such as his tendencies that lean towards selfishness), Ahanu still manages to spread his infectious smile through those around him by his presence alone.
Lion: boy 1
Name: Gudahi, an Omaha name meaning "There it goes!"
Personality: Guda has been constantly on the move since he could crawl across the den floor. His birthname was lost very early in life as his nickname stuck and everyone simply forgot what he had been originally named, including his mother! Unable to hold still at even the best of times, the lion is constantly pacing or tapping his foot. A swift runner and a superb hunter, Guda is prone to wandering but his social nature does not bode well in the open roguelands and so pride life is the best for him. He thrives when a homebase is available for him to essentially recharge at and draws energy from a home environment. Prone to snappish behavior and impatience, his anger is quick to rise and swifter to fade but he is loyal and easily placated. A bird name would have suited him well, considering his twitchy behavior and flowing moods.
Lion: boy 2
Name: Megedagik, an Algonquin name meaning "kills many"
Personality: Geda's name has very little to do with his actual person, though it does adequately explain the circumstances of his birth. Geda is a particularly large lion and has been since his birth. Geda was, unfortunately, the first in line to be born from his mother's womb but his size made birth difficult. As some things go, Geda was stuck in the birthing canal for a long enough period that his mother perished in her efforts to give him life. A second cub was killed when the midwife had to slash open the dead lioness' belly to free the rest of the litter. As a result, Geda's birth father fled their pride and has since been presumed dead.
Despite this sad history, Geda was raised in a loving family with his remaining two sisters. His adoptive parents raised him well, but he knew what had occured the day of his birth and he carries that guilt with him to this day. Generally a sweet and soft-spoken lion, he is slow to anger and quick to forgive. He finds it difficult to waste energy remaining angry and instead treats everyone he meets with the utmost respect. Personable and chivalrous, now that he has reached a middling age, his strength and silence paired with his solid appearance often lends other stories to the meaning behind his name. Though he is unscarred, his gold eyes are a clear indication of his experiences on the harsh savannah.
Lion: girl 1
Name: Nayeli, a Zapotec name meaning "I love you."
Personality: There is nothing particularly striking about Nayeli, save her coat. She was raised by a loving family and is thus very kind and gentle herself. She is not particularly outspoken, instead being rather on the shy side and yet simultaneously not afraid to speak up for herself if the situation arises. She is very slow to anger and will avoid confrontation at any cost save the lives of cubs. Being very protective of younger lions has led her to appear selfless in some instances, but that protective streak does not include herself or even very many adults. Generally polite, Nayeli is uncomfortable by the attention often paid to her loud and boisterous coat. She shies away from compliments and can waver between appearing ungrateful or like she might die from embarrassment.
Lion: girl 2
Name: Shangilia, Swahili for "celebrate"
Personality: Lia's markings were a marvel to her mother, but a curse to her pride. The mark of a yellow bird was nothing short of a malicious omen from the gods according to the council, and Lia was ordered to be cast out into the roguelands and left to die. Rather than bend entirely to her pride's command, Lia's mother took the small cub and her young brother into the savannah to live. Their father, loyal to the pride itself, remained behind and could not be persuaded to leave with them. This devotion to family exhibited by her mother, however, was what stuck with Lia and she has grown into a fiercely maternal lioness. Her brother perished at a young age and so could not save her from a lingering suspicion of males after her father's abandonment, but it is not so great that it hinders her. She would never trust a male with her life, but this prejudice is largely kept secret. She is, however, fiercely competitive, especially against boys, but would not easily be labeled as a tomboy. Rather like an overly confident and stubborn lady, she prefers cleanliness and order but can give in to her passionate reactions swiftly and violently.

Name: Ari
Personality: Because she is cherished among her clan, Ari strives to be a good example for those around her. Approachable and expressive, she is not the type of lioness to be secretive or exclude others from her social circle without reason. She laughs easily, cries easily, and even sometimes lets her temper get the best of her and cloud her better judgement. Though talking comes easily to her she is rarely the first to speak, instead allowing others to express themselves so that she can attempt to understand them. Ari bases her judgement of others on their first impressions, and while most times she is fair, she has a very hard time straying from her initial opinions.
As she is from the Wolf Clan, Ari is a strong believer in teamwork and in family. Nobody gets left behind if they are part of the family. Joining her circle of family is relatively easy. All one has to do is be open and honest and she will gladly welcome them to share in the privileges of being in her family. If she discovers that someone she has welcomed is lying to her, however, or abusing their status as part of her family she will be the first to chastise them. Ari hates dishonesty and disloyalty above all other things, and regards them as the worst of personality flaws. She is not infallible nor does she believe herself to be, but she accepts her own personality flaws and attempts to work with them for the benefit of her clan.
