Cassandra twitched at Ty's touched but realized he was right. "Just need some time," she defended. "Hard getting into your first real fight, right?" She knew that would probably get them off her case. If she could get something accomplished, maybe she would be able to think more clearly. Something needed to wake her up, and it wouldn't be sitting around. "Let's just keep going, I'll work it out."

Carlyle's assistance had little effect; the wounds were mostly closed already. They now faced the decision of how to progress.

Isaac strode forward, finally standing with the team. "Hey," he said softly to Cassandra. "We'll be OK. I mean, it's my first tango too. And look, I did it!" He smiled broadly, then blushed and looked at the floor. "I mean...if I can do it, you can. Right?" He looked up at them all. "We're a team. We can do this, right?"

"I... couldn't really answer that," Carlyle replied quietly. "It's complicated. But I'm sure we can pull this off." He frowned. "So what do we do next? Should we go for the command center or flank them? Maybe sabotage their engines?"

They all remembered that nobody knew their way around the ship.

Isaac spoke up timidly. "Um...maybe we should link up with another team? We don't know where we're going..."

"That's the spirit!" Ty told her, and gave the shoulder a pat before removing his hand. He wasn't sure why these people seemed so reticent about fighting. Hadn't they gone through training? Battle was an opportunity to have fun. He mentally shrugged it off, though. "Well, I don't know any better than anyone else how to get around, but Isaac has a point. The more, the merrier, and the better opportunity we have to strip away their pawns before going for their command." His eyes sparkled a little, his adrenaline still going strong. "My concern about hitting the engines or control center is that the ship might start going down before the rest of the pa-" he caught himself- "fighters- have a way out." Whether he knew these people or not, whether he was alpha or not, he was not about to send members of his pack to their deaths just for a moment of glory. "Do we have a way to communicate with the rest of them?"

"Well, I have our bridge acting as a convenient little Voice With An Internet Connection," Carlyle pointed out. "Should we attack the Tyrgani guys from the back where the Coven is pushing? If we surprise them from the back during a big move we should be able to, like... squish them between us."

"You're suggesting a basic flanking technique?" Cassandra mumbled. "Seems pretty simple. Only problem is coming from behind we might not be recognized, especially not in uniform." She was standing up, trying to overcome her shiver. "We need to find out what critical systems we can eliminate. We should try to destroy weapon systems from the inside, if we can't destroy engines."

"Each weapon is controlled independently from the others by a small team at the weapon pod," Triton explained to Carlyle through the headset. Carlyle passed the information along. "Triton can give us directions to anywhere we need to go, also," he added.

"I highly suggest destroying as many of those as feasibly possible so we can disengage safely," Cassandra mumbled. "Then we can just run for it and they can't do any damage to us without destroying themselves in the process, which they're unlikely to do."

Isaac had been hesitant to speak, but he figured he should at least try. Maybe this was another good idea, like charging the powersuits had been. "Um, guys? This might be a stupid idea...but uhm...why can't we just take the control room and like...use the ship? Or did someone already say that? Sorry..."

"Fine idea, just not practical," Cassandra informed him. "That'll be guarded very heavily, and unless we have backup, we'd do best to wait. We'd basically have to fight through everything they've got."

He would have conceded, but he thought he had a good idea here. "But if we link up with the other teams, then we solve Ty's problem of getting all of our soldiers out before the ship goes down. If all of our troops went against all of theirs, and we broke through, then we could do this. Right?"

"It's a heroic idea, Isaac, but as great as it sounds, it's not a safe one. Since we have no cover out here, a head-on push would be pretty bloody for both sides. I like Carlyle's idea best, but Cassandra is right about the uniform issue. Her idea is the most practical and involves the least bloodshed on our side." An idea sparked in his head. "Can we get an idea of where we are relative to weapons rooms based on what our ship has on a visual display of theirs?"
