Raine stopped he stared blank faced. Still holding a grudge for his sensai. He was nothing like Hatchi or Raito. They were nice and funny all the time. Raine undid his legs from the bench, and on his shins large red marks were imprinted in his skin from them being in the same place and under pressure for so long. He took Lavi's ninpod and stood up. Walking up to Tsuyosa he bowed low, "Thank you, Tsuyosa-sensai." He didn't really mean this but, he lifted his head and held his chin up staring into the master's eyes. They were both gruff and rock like, unmovable to their souls. The Tekkenseisai clashed, in the doorway. Raine just moved on though not bothering to look back. He passed Hikaru in the sparring room, and walked up to his room. In the empty upstairs floor, Raine closed his door, and plopped onto his bed. He held his backpack clothes, it smelled like home. After a few seconds Raine felt so peaceful he drifted off to sleep.

Lavi stepped back into the compound, his yellow T and flamboyant persona giving off a happy aura. He had a small case in his hand. It was a new knife for Raine's mom whenever they went back. As he stepped in he found Tsuyosa in front of him. "Ah Hello, Tekken-senpai." He beamed happily. Putting the knife in his back pocket.

The older man saw this and frowned. "Sorry, about that." He felt he could act more leniently around this boy because he was not his student, and he was much old than the others.

Lavi seemed surprised, pulling out the knife. "What this? Honestly it was kind of cool." He said pulling from his other pocket the knife blade. "How did you do that? It was amazing!" He said stepping closer.

Tsuyosa took the blade from the boy. He examined it carefully. "Ancient Tekkensisai secret. It's called Blade Grasp." He handed the blade back to Lavi. "Maybe I'll show it to you sometime." He looked down at Lavi through his mess of Hair which he didn't like much, but the boy's eyes lit up.

"Cool, oh but isn't it like a Tekkenseisai only thing? I bet Raine would love to learn it. He get's so excited about training. what a- do you think of him? Being worthy and all. Lavi asked stepping into the kitchen and setting down the blade and the knife.

Tsuyosa glanced back at Hikaru, and stepped into the kitchen. "I think he is skilled, and determind. He handled the fight with Lord-Hikaru well." At this Lavi looked up a bit confused.

"Eh Lord-hikaru?"

Tsuyosa realized Lavi was unaware of the Kage training back behind them."Yes, the Kazekage. I had them spar earlier today."

Lavi rolled his eyes, and his head followed. Kaori was going to kill him. "That's his third Kage! When will he learn!" Lavi slapped himself on his forehead.

Tsuyosa looked out the window above the sink,"Yes, I heard something about this. I assumed he was just boasting and exagerating." this definately changed things, if this boy no older than eight had actually tried to take on Kages. He certainly had what it took to be a Tekkenseisia. Tsuyoa decided on teaching him by a step today.

"Nope, the kid broke every bone in his body. It was a freaking S ranking mission. Goddamn, for his first mission. The guy who took him, his sensei, was a legendary sanin. And he got killed, Raine and this anbu he was with came back completely bonkers." He moved his finger around in a cricle by his head to help illlustrate this. "K well I'm off." he said smiling to the man and heading for the sparring room.

The man was quiet for a moment. A legendary sanin, he knew a few of them. Old friends of his, that he cared for dearly. Could it be.... he thought about his dear friend, who always managed to make him laugh.

Tsuyosa sat in the kitchen for a while, thinking about his past. After a good thirty minutes had passed his stomach growled beneath his ripped abs. He stood to find something, and remembered what he had said to Raine. "Be back by lunch." The man figured he was being a grump up in his room, maybe he had been too hard on the boy. He remembered how hard it had been for him to kick when he was just learning as a boy. His masters had beat him with sticks when he didn't do well. However strict Tsuyosa meant to be he never wanted to resort to that. Standing he decided on confronting the boy. He passed Hikaru and stepped up the stairs and to the first door on the left. It was closed. The man breathed deeply and knocked hard three times. When there was no answer. Tsuyosa wondered what he could possibly be doing. He opened the door, expecting to find the boy moping and making a fool of himself. But he was fast asleep on the bed. Surprised Tsuyosa held the door, not sure what to do. "Uh, *Ahum*" He cleared his through loudly thinking that it would wake the boy. He didn't stir and Tsuyosa stepped closer. "Raine." The boy opened his eyes, a bit.

"Heisei leave me alone." Suddenly Raine's eyes shot open, realizing what he said and who was standing in front of him the boy sat up looking embarrassed. "Yes, Sensai?" He looked up gathering himself and getting up off his bed.

The man had remembered reading that name in the Tekkenseisai family tree, it had a line crossed through it. "It's lunch." He said gruffly also pulling himself into his usual tough exterior. "It's also time I teach you how to fight like a Tekkenseisai." With this he saw the boy's eyes light up. There was nothing like the fighting spirit. With this he turned to get Lavi before they each descended back to the kitchen.

Raine felt refreshed from his nap and sped down the hall, he smiled broadly in the thought of learning something new. He could tell it was a jutsu, it must be! Raine thought as he found his way to the kitchen. The sun bright through the windows, he stood for a moment to wait for Tsuyosa. His mom had taught him well enough that you were never to look through someone's kitchen.

Lavi and Tsuyosa came soon enough talking. Raine didn't get how Tsuyosa would be so nice to him and so harsh to Raine. It didn't matter much though he couldn't keep a grudge long enough for it to really matter. As Tsuyosa entered he opened the cabinet and pulled out a loaf of bread, and various condiments. From the large fridge he pulled some turkey and cheese. They each made sandwiches, Lavi helped Raine reach the counter, giggling all the time. Raine's sandwich consisted of turkey and cheese with no crust. Tsuyosa frowned at this, "A sandwich like that will never make you strong." Raine didn't really mind, he had trouble fitting the sandwich an his mouth as big as it was. (Omg so cute ^_^)

Raine took a while chewing while he looked as if he had something to say. "So what are you gonna teach me?" he asked Tsuyosa looking up at the huge man sitting across the table from hims and Lavi.

He smiled finishing his lunch. "An ancient Tekkenseisai technique, that gives our clan the name 'reckless' fist fighters."

At this Lavi looked a bit worried. Thinking of all the things that he could possibly getting himself into, and the consequences on little Raine. However, the small boy shot up with joy. "Sweet let's go right now! Come on show me!" he smiled, hanging on his chair as he jumped down from the height. The boy reach up to the level of his nose and pulled down his plate, setting it next to the sink where his cup from earlier was still there. As Lavi and Tsuyosa did the same, the each stepped back into the Sparring room. Where Hikaru was still.

"Okay, this jutsu is called Agarikomu no Jutsu or By a Step."He set up in his teaching position in front of both of the boys. Lavi had his arms crossed and looked interested, and Raine was nearly bouncing out of his shoes. "This is one of the most basic Tekkenseisai techniques, utilizing our ability to take damage, and our suicidal fighting style." Instantly Lavi knew he was going to regret allowing Raine to learn here. "Most of the power the comes from an attack is gained with momentum. Much liked I showed you this morning. So, if you move into the attack in exactly the right position you can reduce the damage greatly." Lavi's eyes were wide, astounded by what was coming out of Tsuyosa'a mouth.

"What are you crazy! Teaching this to a little kid!" Lavi stepped forward to Tsuyosa. Who gave him a bored look. As if he had heard this a thousand times.

"Lavi, this is the way of the Tekkenseisai. If you don't like it than leave."

The boy knew he was speaking out of turn but this was crazy, he had seen Raine fight before. He never did take a defensive stance. He closed his mouth and stepped back to the side of the wall, leaning back and watching. He had a responsibility to keep Raine safe, but this is what he had come to learn to do, crazy enough as it was.

Tsuyosa was happy with this response and turned directly to Raine, "Not only does this decrease the damage that you receive but this also opens your opponent up for an attack of opportunity."

Raine squinted up at him scrunching his nose. "An attack of opportunity, you mean like when they let their guards down?" He thought about how he usually gauged his attacks. It didn't happen often but when it did, he could really hit someone hard.

"Yes, it's almost as if you snuck up on someone and hit them in a vital spot (hint hint, nod nod, sneak attack)" he said, gesturing for the boy to come closer. "I need you to make a bunshin once more. This way you can practice moving into any attack that comes at you."

"Uh, okay." raine said excited to learn the jutsu, it was a real jutsu now, not just some academy stuff, but a real live jutsu! A bunshin popped from next to him and the two boys looked up for further instruction.

"Now, have the clone attack you in every way you can imagine. While you need to move into the attack, and I'll tell you what you've done right and wrong." He stepped to the side while the boys set themselves in front of each other.

"K, let's do this." Both Raines said in unison. They took up fighting stances and the boys circled each other. Raine was a bit unsure of what he was supposed to do, but soon enough the Bunshin came at him, Raine stepped straight into his fist. The Illusion stopped on his chest. He didn't manage to get very much momentum with his attack. Raine smiled thinking he had done it right. "Like this?" Tsuyosa shook his head.

"Close, you did well on stopping his momentum but you didn't defend yourself enough. Even if you are a Tekkenseisai you need to let your shoulder take the hit. Again!"

"Okay!" Raine needed to get it right this time, the clone circled in front of him. And Raine lifted his fists, battle ready. He kept his feet steady, and watched closely to what his clone was doing. His blue eyes jumping quickly back and forth to different tells about what the clone was going to do. Soon enough, he was upon him. Riane quickly shifted on his toes, pushing his shoulder forward. The clone hit his shoulder, he couldn't even feel it, but it felt odd. He looked up to Tsuyosa.

"Again!"

"Huh?" This time Raine had no clue what he had done wrong, it seemed okay but Tsuyosa hadn't said anything, the boy stepped back. Ready to train until the night came. He fixed his eyes on is clone, taking a deep breath. The clone ran forward at Raine. "Come on!" He squinted and tensed his body, the muscle beneath his skin hardening as if this were a real battle. This time his clone threw a different attack, running to tackle his legs. Raine the himself down and forward. His fist pulled up and crossed in front of him. He landed in a kneel and the clone tripped over him. Raine quickly jumped up preparinging to defend himself again.

Tsuyosa stopped him."No, no, no. You have to stop the momentum completely. Sure you did a great job defending yourself, but you didn't use By a Step."

Raine looked up at Tsuyosa, nodding as he said the words"Yeah, I got it." the boy said, he circled with his clone, they were set father apart than when they first started, walking around the giant golden fist. Raine set his feet and positioned himself, waiting for the second his clone would attack. His hair fell down in front of his eyes, fiercely set on his opponent. The other boy sprung forward, his arm pulling back winding up for the most power. Raine ran at him, setting his footing so close his clones left fist brushed up against his cheek. Raine pushed himself forward, twisting his body so that his shoulder would take most of the pain, had there been any. The clone could only throw his cross made for power about a foot, and the jolt flung his shoulder back, and he stood wide eyed for a second. Raine, caught in the moment, felt tempted to finish his foe, by throwing a jab straight into his stomach, but he held back.

"Good Raine stop him, before he can get power, and stun him to open his stance. Go again!"

Raine felt great about his success, he heard Tsuyosa from behind him. He didn't need his sensei's words though, he knew he had done it right. He just had to keep getting it right every time. Raine gave his clone a confident smile as he turned to get back in space. The clone growled with pleasure. "I can beat you!" He ran at Raine from behind, planning to throw a sort of hammer fist down from above and smash the real Raine across the head. Raine turned and accessed the situation in split seconds. Instantly running at his clone, the clone was taken back by his change in direction, Still he had all the momentum from above. Raine tried to thrust himself upward to stop the attack from above. The clones fist hit him in the head as he winced bracing himself.

"No! Raine you'll break your neck that way, learn to judge attacks that you can use this jutsu on, and one that you can't do it again!"

"Uh, yeah got it, sensai." He breathed heavily now, even though he wasn't actually fighting he still had to run and dodge just like he usually would. Raine didn't make the mistake of turning away from his clone. Who was now smiling like a madman, "Told you I could beat you." he laughed. Raine grimaced and set his fists up. "Oh yeah try me!" Raine dropped his butt down low and spread his feet. He knew the stance was what he needed to keep strong and go hard. the boy's stared at each other. More close now, punching and kicking distance. The clone looked sly as if he were hatching a plan. Raine tried to read his own movements to understand what was going on. Split second before his attack, Raine's eye widened,"What? A kick!?" The clone thew up his leg at Raine and let out a "Hoo!" Raine set himself and pulled his hip to where it needed to be.Standing so awkwardly close to himself, they were only inches apart. Raine could only hope that his kick would fail, it wasn't very strong. Sure enough he could barely get his leg off the ground with the space he had. Raine smiled and pushed him back, knowing that he was off balance. The clone toppled backwards surprised.

"Good Again!" Tsuyosa said loudly.

Lavi watched from the sidelines, he hadn't seen Raine push someone like that before.

Raine stepped forward and stuck his hand out to the clone. "Uh sorry about that. I got a bit carried away." The clone took his hand, smiling broadly, "Don't worry about it I'll get you back for it later." The boys laughed a bit to each other, stepping back to their positions.

It was later in the day now, the light coming in the the large open windows in the sparring room was not much, Lavi had to go and flick some artificial lights on next to the stairs. The two boys still endlessly fought, one always throwing a punch. The other always throwing himself into the punch. Raine found it easier sometime more than others, but every now and again he would take a hit that he could even feel. he was working a a sweat. While Tsuyosa hadn't moved a muscle out of the mass amount that he had.

The clone Jabbed forward a left and a right, Raine once again invaded his personal space, and the punches almost harmlessly smacked his chest. "I love this training!" The clone cut in, punching Raine on the chin. "But, I get too much in my personal space." He hopped back ready to fight with his fists up.

The two Raine's circled each other while Tsuyosa followed their path with his eyes, examining every move that Raine made. He needed to get this perfectly. The Boy lunged down into a punch. e hand't quite set his feet in the perfect position, and he could have been knocked back, or tripped. "Again, Watch you feet Raine." The boy now breathing heavily, the dry, warm air alien to his lungs, stepped back with his fists up again. He would get it, no matter what he would get it. Even if he had to train over-time he would get it.

The clone attacked Raine again and again each time he threw himself in the way, trying to get as close as possible. That seemed to be the trick, get so close that they couldn't even move forward and they would be afraid of you being so close. But it was hard to get so close each time, the clone learned to keep his feet in front of his body so Raine couldn't really get too close to him. This was a bad but Raine knew that when he was actually fighting, others would learn how to defend themselves against this jutsu if he didn't learn how to preform it perfectly.

"Again, Raine get closer!"

"I know, I know.." He gasped for breath, trying to run around so much for so long was really getting to him. Now the sun had gone down completely. The two boys circled as always quiet except for their breathing, suddenly a small growl cut through the silence. Raine blushed and looked around, he was really hungry. The clone noticed his distraction and ran in for the shot, Raine tried to brace himself and get in the right position but he wasn't quite ready for the attack.

"Again, Raine, don't get distracted!" Tsuyosa said gruffly his hands crossed behind his back. Lavi was hungry too, and giggled to himself when Raine's hunger became apparent.

"Tsuyosa-Senpai, don't you think it's about time for dinner." He called over to them all who had shifted across the huge room. The man looked back at him and than to Raine who heaved, stopping to see what would happen.
