Jerome nodded. "Tsuzuki that would of been maginifcent.." Even though it was out of line to speak as Tsuzuki had done, Jerome didn't care. He did wish that he would be marrying Lilith instead, but Margarette had the whole thing etched in stone. It made Jerome frown as he noticed the humans entered the catsle. "I believe I might just have to go and view the young princess myself Tsuzuki.." Jerome said, turning to his guard. He had an idea in mind, maybe not the best one, but either way it was one.
Jerome left his room, and made his way to the portrait of his father. He had to see if what he was about to do was right. "Father.. I know you may think ill of me after this little incident, but I only ask for you to understand.." Tears began to flood his eyes. Jerome hated the thought of being dishonorable to his father, but something had to be done. But first, Jerome needed to get dressed up and ready for dinner. He turned around, but made sure his eyes were dry. Jerome shut his large oak doors, and began to dig around in his closet for a respectable attire for dinner.

Toren smiled slightly. "That sounds like it could be quite some fun, actually. We haven't had any dancing here for quite some time," he replied cheerfully.
"You could arrange it, no, Lilith?" he asked with a curious tilt to his head. "Do you like dancing?" Toren turned to the human girl and waited for an answer. Kara nodded bashfully. "I can dance, of course. Father made me start learning the day I turned seven. It can be some fun every once in a while. I've danced with all sorts of people, including the king of the avians once. Never with a vampire, though," she admitted.
"It might help me get to know everyone better," she added quietly, rubbing a bruise on her shoulder absently. When she had been rushed through her castle, she had bumped into her door. "Do you dance, Miss Lilith?"

Lilith rubbed the back of her neck grinning sheepishly. "Yes, eerily well. When i lived in Romania, it was a custom that everyone in the village attend a ball at the end of each seasonal equinox or solstice. It was what you would call a Pagan village, so having a few families of vampires, some elves and other creatures didn't bother them in the slightest. We were one, we were a village. We were happy." Running her hands through her long hair, it was these memories that cut her the deepest, and her voice showed it by cracking with her last words. Usually extremely strong willed, and completely against crying; this time it was out of her control. Stopping suddenly, her ebony hair covered her face, which was scrunched up in an effort to stop her emotions showing, but to no prevail. With a stifled sob, she turned and with an "Excuse me." She was gone. Lilith ran until she had gone upstairs and was in the corridor that was between the Royal Quarters and those who ranked higher than servant. Finding her old hiding place from the early days, she pulled back a tapestry which covered one of the many old display areas cut into the stone. They were large enough for her to fit, so climbing in, she let the tapestry fall back into place. An angry sob escaped her every so often; her hair now a sad blue, her eyes an angry red.

Kara and Toren stood there, frozen, for a while. Toren was completely confused and Kara was just as startled. She had said something wrong.
"Oh...I'm sorry," she said out loud when her mind really registered that Lilith had vanished up the stairs. "I didn't mean to upset her," Kara told Toren uncertainly.
"Don't worry about it," he replied. "I will talk to her in a bit. Let me show you to your room. One of the servants will help you find something to wear for tonight," Toren told her soothingly.
"Are you sure?" Kara asked nervously, folding her hands.
"It's fine, Kara. You didn't know it would upset her."
Kara followed the prince up the stairs and to a brilliant room, decorated in gold and red. "Thank you, Toren," she said quietly, curstying when he smiled.
"For you, your majesty," he said as he headed back down the corridor, watching her shut the door as she walked into the room. Toren sighed and headed down the hallway, to the corridor between the Royal Quarters and those who ranked above the servants. He knew that Lilith would be hiding here. He himself had hidden here many times from his father.
"Lilith?" he called, coming to a stop at a certain tapestry that sounded like it was crying. "Are you alright?"

Ready to verbally attack the person who belonged to the feet she could see, Lilith's face screwed up in anger. Then she heard Toren's voice. Freezing, totally still, she couldn't answer. Instead, she swivelled around so her legs dangled out, and pulling the tapestry up over her head, strands of her now dark blue hair fell over her face as ruby red eyes looked at the prince. All she could do was blink, she was stunned. Ah, he had taken the princess to the room that she had prepared. She sat at his shoulder height, her feet a good few inches from the floor. A sound passed her full lips as she tried to speak. Bowing her head, Lilith looked to the ground as a mumbled "Sorry." was heard.

Toren sighed and crouched slightly in front of her, resting a hand on her shoulder. "Lilith, my friend, what is wrong?" he asked sadly.
"You can tell me," Toren said soothingly.
"You don't have to be sorry, that's for sure. Did the princess say something wrong? If you wish, I can talk to her and ask her to refrain from speaking of such upsetting things again," he told her. Kara sighed heavily and watched the servant girl bring in the princess' bags. The girl smiled sheepishly and bowed clumsily.
"Mi'lady, I have a dress for you," she said with a small smile, holding up a bunch of silk that she held in her hands.
"Very well. Thank you, miss..."
"Sherry."
"Miss Sherry. Will you help me dress?"
The little werewolf girl beamed up at her and nodded eagerly.

Lilith shook her head. "It's not what she said, it's what i remembered." And turning her gaze up, her fiery red eyes slowly turned back to their bright blue. She sighed. "I'm just stressed. I haven't been in contact with a human since i left Romania. It was hard enough going to their kingdom with the Queen's message. It's going to take me a long time to trust any of them."And looking at Toren, she blinked. It was clear that being around humans distressed Lilith, alot. She hated them, and what they did to her family.

Toren sighed and scrubbed a hand through his hair. "I understand," he assured her. "Believe me, I understand."
He had been through a few unpleasant experiences with human mercenaries. "I'm sure she's nothing to fear, though. She seems too nice to harm a fly," he said with some amusement. "Let's just pray that she can harm a fly, because I have no doubt there will be attempts on her life."
"But as for you," he said calmly, watching her with his solemn eyes. "You are just as kind as she, and just as intruiging. And you have yet to tell me your story, Lilith," Toren added casually.
"If you wish not to tell, then I will not pressure you on the subject again," he told her seriously.

Lilith sniffed a little, then grinned somewhat cheekily. "You never asked." And she took a deep breath, sighing, finally calm. Out came a story of a girl who was devoted on by loving parents. One of the only 3 vampire families in the village, most of her neighbours were elves and the like. It was an even split village of humans and those others would consider mythical. Devout in the ways of Paganism, every solstice and equinox, balls would be held in honour. Taught manners to rival any royal lady, she grew up to be one hell of a woman. Offers came from all gentleman in the village, but she refused all. She was happy with life. A pause, and then came the heartbreaking half of her story. A town ripped to shreds by outsides who learnt of their "demonic" ways. Christians they called themselves, and anything unholy was burnt at the steak. Lilith fled with a few other girls, only to be captured by the men. About to be tortured and potentially raped, Lilith used her pyromancy to horribly burn the men. Fleeing with the females, they soon parted ways, all leaving Romania for good. "And thats how i came here." She finished in a shaky voice. Her hands were clenched, fangs bared. She got her revenge, but she wished she could've saved her family. Lilith looked to Toren, silent now, before placing her head in her hands.

Tsuzuki had been standing out in the hallway, to give Jerome some private time. He saw Lilith, then Prince Toren run off down the hallway. He tried his best to mind his own business and not follow after them to see what was going on, but he grew too curious and walked down the hall, doing a surprising first. He thought to himself,"I'll only be gone for a minute, Jerome won't need me. He can ahndle a minute without me." Now, Tsuzuki had never thought such things ever before in his life, but it seemed he was growing a liking to Lilith and was concerned about her.
Tsuzuki walked up to the crouched Prince and Lilith. Tsuzuki looked to Lilithe, then the Prince, then Lilith again and asked,"Are you okay Miss Lilith?" He was truely concerned she looked like she was in distress, and he was wondering what had happened with the princess. Did the princess offend Lilith. Did that human hurt Lilith?

Looking out her hands, she saw Tsuzuki and felt a bit better. Given he probably had just heard her life story too, she didn't mind. "It's ok Tsuzuki, i'm just stressed. How's Jerome? The Queen told me i need to keep an eye on him until dinner." She had remembered her duty, and sat up a little. Her dark blue hair finally had turned back to it's beautiful black and her bright blue eyes were a little bloodshot.

"My stubborn brother is quite alright, I am positively sure," Toren said with a chuckle.
"And Lilith, I'm sorry to hear that you went through such nightmares. No one deserves to witness such things," he said sadly and sincerely. "But I am sure all of the castle residents are quite happy that you came here instead of going to any other place."
"And Lilith, if you wish, some other time, I will tell you my story as well," he whispered just for her ears, pulling up the sleeves of his white shirt to reveal the scars that marred his wrists.
Toren sighed and looked over at Tsuzuki. "Is Jerome still incredibly upset?" he asked absently. "If he is, when you next see him, tell him that I am proud of my elder brother and my crowned prince. And that father would be proud of his accomplishments."
"If I told that to his face, I'm sure that he'd punch me in the face," Toren said with a wide grin.

Tsuzuki looked from lilith to Toren and replied to both of them, "Jerome is doing alright. He is currently getting ready for dinner." He didn't want to add in that he'd be a lot happier, and better if Lilith were around, even though it was true. He nodded to Toren when he told him to tell his brother about him being proud of him, though Tsuzuki wasn't quite sure what accomplishmets he was talking about. When he commented that Jerome would punch him in the face Tsuzuki replied softly, "I highly doub Prince Jerome would harm you Prince Toren. But if you believe so, I suppose it is a possibility." Tsuzuki then looked to Lilith, "So, you will be with us until dinner? Wonderful. I'm sure Prince Jerome could use some pep talk, and encouragement before dinner."

Lilith actually chuckled. "Toren, you really think he'd hit you for being honest? Wow, thats all i can say. Wow." And she giggled, sliding forward out of the stone hole. Stumbling forward, she nearly fell into Toren, but righted herself and brushed down her dress. She was only 5"4, quite short for a vampire. Turning to Tsuzuki, she smiled. "A pep talk aye? He's nervous isn't he? Yeah, i'll go there soon." And looking at Toren, she smiled warmly. "You ever want to talk, you know where i am. Just find me." Her bright blue eyes shined, she was definitely feeling better. Dinner would be hard, but it was just an hour or so, she'd be fine. Lilith ran her hands through her hair, fluffing it a little. It hung gracefully from her face as she stood calm now.

Toren sighed and stood again, stretching his back with a slight frown. "You never know with Jeremy," he said sadly to himself more than to them.
He looked down at his hands and then ran them over his face. "I guess so. Though I've never told anyone my story, and I probably never will," Toren mumbled absently.
Honestly, he hated how his brother required so much attention. Of course, Toren got attention from his mother, and from the one servant girl that came to clean his room once every two days, but sometimes he just wished that someone would care to worry over him.
"Go on. You can probably find me in the gardens if you need anything," he told the two of them with a slight sigh.
Toren tried not to show that he was gloomy. He turned away from them, wondering if he himself would be able to find something nice to wear. After all, he had to be close to matching his brother's nice styles.
