Setsuna reached the top of the steps, seeing that the shrine looked fairly normal, though she could tell that there had obviously been a battle, and some destruction to the shrine by the broken pieces that still remained.

"looks better, huh, setsuna?"rei said turning to see setsuna arriving. seiya turned to see setsuna coming but looked away.

Setsuna placed her hand on her chin as she looked at the shrine. "Well, it will certainly look much better once the debris is cleared up all over the tiles." She said as she looked at the pieces still scattered on the ground. "Then I think that the shrine will be restored to it's former glory." She looked over at Seiya, who was obviously effected by something that had happened, because when she had tried to meet his eyes, he had turned them immediately away. She placed her hands on her hips as she stood there for a moment, before moving over to help pick up the pieces that were still left around the newly restored shrine.

 Hotaru de-henshined, and smiled at Setsuna. Her with Setsuna talk about what was going on in her mind with had gone well but Hotaru still wasn't sure when it would happen. Hotaru hoped it was a long way. "Hello Setsuna-chan.." Hotaru greeted.

rei saw what happened between setsuna and seiya and wondered what that was all about. rei shared a confused look with makoto, who promptly looked at nicholas to give him the same confused look.

"What..?" Makoto said silently to herself. She was curious, there was no doubt about that. But she didn't want to pry into their private affairs. She shook her head, shaking the thought out of her head. "Setsuna, I want to introduce you to someone!" She called, running up to Setsuna with Nicholas. "Setsuna, this is Nicholas. He's also General Nephrite of the Earth Kingdom back in the Silver Millenium." She explained quickly.
Nicholas bowed. "Greetings." He said politely.

Hotaru's gaze shifted to Setsuna's face but then they moved to Nicholas, or Nephrite she should say. Hotaru walked to clean up the back of the shrine. As she was picking up a few pieces of debris, she had another pain. Hotaru gasped at the pain. Hotaru was kneeling her hand farther out on the ground and her face looking down. Her eyes went a bright violet color.

Nicholas' face darkened. "That was once. I was under the control of that witch Beryl." He said, his eyes downcast. "She fooled us all back then."
Makoto's eyes softened at Nicholas' expression.

rei was stunned. no one else knew what happened except makoto. rei turned to setsuna and explained to her that she couldnt do anymore fire readings.

seiya still had no clue what happened to rei, but saw something stir in her eyes and realized what it was. walking over to makoto, seiya decided to ask her what he just found out. "makoto, is the reason why rei has this 'condition issue' because she doesnt have her sailor crystal?"seiya asked.
~rei was shocked to hear that seiya found out about her secret~

Makoto shot a glance at Rei, looked at Seiya, and nodded slightly. "We're all at risk." She said quietly. "It'd be best for us not to tell Usagi at the least." She said, putting a hand on Nicholas's shoulder to comfort him.

Hotaru's pain ended just as it started. It ended without notice. It's coming soon, oh no.... Hotaru thought. Yes, little Hotaru you will soon be mine.....said a cackling laugh in Hotaru's head that was Mistress 9's.
