Adrian smiled as Kat reappeared. "You look nice." He complimented. She did--he wasn't really one for jeans, being an elf, but she wore them well. He offered her his hand. "Ready?" He asked.
Thali strode into Vate's classroom, a bored expression pulling at her lips as she looked at the computers. "I thought you could use some help--I don't have a class next period, so I can show you how they work, or something." She offered.

Brandy ✖ Jean ❝Vate straightened up when he heard Thali's voice. He stepped away from the computers, still not sure what they were. "Thali," he said. "What.... Are these things?" ❞

Thali gave Vate a smile, and moved so she was standing next to him. She took his hand, and guided him to the mouse. "You use this like this." She showed him, wiggling the mouse, making the screen light up.
"You can click things with it--see the little arrow on the screen?" She gestured to it, just in case he couldn't. "If you click something, a window'll pop up--and it usually tells you what to do." She explained.

Kat smiled at the compliment. "Thank you." She wasn't one to dress up except for special occasions. Besides, the lunch was completely last-minute. She had to go with what she'd brought with her. "More than ready, I'm starving!" She hardly paused to grab onto his hand before she nearly bolted out of the gym. "I hope you don't mind walking. It's only about half a mile away."

Brandy ✖ Jean ❝ Vate blinked, his eyes slightly wide, at what Thali was teaching him. He began to get the hang of it, the basics on using a computer. "But Thali," he said. "What is Web Design?"❞

Thali had to resist the urge of facepalming, and easily taught Vate the basics of HTML. "That's basically all you need to know for the first class." She told him, before handing him a book. 'Webdesign for Dummies' was the title. "Don't take the title seriously--I know you're not dumb. But really. It'll tell you all you need to know."
Adrian nodded at her. "I don't mind." He said. He followed her out. Personally he prefered walking, he didn't like cars.

Brandy ✖ Jean ❝With a sigh of relief, Vate took the book from Thali's hands. He flipped through a few pages, thinking. He remained quiet, and seemed hesitant, as if he really needed to tell something to Thali. "I'm sorry." he said, quiet. "I didn't mean to leave you behind here." ❞

Thali looked surprised for a moment. "Really?" She asked, as if she didn't believe him. "It wasn't my plan to be left behind.." She said. "I really have missed you. I even missed you stealing my books." She gave a small smile.

Thali was silently reminded of how she and Vate used to play in the library. She grinned at him, and reached for the book. "You can't read it if I take it from you!" She teased.
Suddenly, Ben walked into the room. "Who are you?" He asked, looking at Vate. This was strange--Thali was supposed to be using this as her prep period, why was she playing with this... creep?

Thali frowned, Ben had ruined her fun again! "Ben, this is Vate--Vate, Ben." She introduced them. "Ben's the English teacher here." She explained. "He's one of our stricter teachers." She grinned in Vate's direction, before crossing her arms and looking to Ben.
"You should be preparing for your class." Ben said, frowning. Vate, Vate.. where had he heard that name before? "Thali's Ex." He said, frowning at Vate. "That's who you are."
"And Godfather of my children." Thali said defensively.

Brandy ✖ Jean ❝Vate already couldn't stand Ben. Stepping forward, he replied, "Thali was helping me prepare for my class." he replied disdainfully. "Being a teacher who has been here for awhile, I'm sure Thali can handle preparing for her own class some other time."❞

Ben frowned. "I don't like the idea of her hanging out with her ex--but.." He looked to Thali. "I trust you. If you were helping him prepare, carry on." He left the room reluctantly. Stupid dark elves..
Thali sighed, and sat down in a chair. "Sorry about that.." She muttered.
