"Finally," Sholazar muttered.
Maira did not waist the opportunity. She lept, landing one hoof on Honey Jade's flank, the other rear hoof on the ground behind the baby's back. one forehoof grabbed Honey Jade's hair pulling her head up, as the other grabbed the baby's ear, twisting it as painfully as she knew how.
"Now you scream," Sholozar said to himself, satisfied.

"Ow!" she yelped, tears springing to her eyes. "That hurts! You reeeeally want to play rough? Fine!" and with all her strenth, she slammed a hoof into Maria's stomach, really playing now.

Maira grunted, but Sholazar would not let her falter or let go. Not when they finally were getting some where. Maira lowered her head.
"Scream" Sholazar whispered into Honey Jade's ear though Maira's mouth.
Maira, seemingly oblivious to the male voice she had just emitted opened her eyes. Long fangs that had not been visible before gleamed in the spare light, shining for a second before they plunged, painfully, into the baby pony's neck. Maira held Honey Jade in that pose as she drank the baby's blood.

Honey Jade would have screamed but her stubbornness caused her mouth to clamp closed. She grunted and squirmed and fought and kicked, and bit, and yanked on Marian's hair. She did everything she could to try and break free.

Maira stumbled back just before finishing Honey Jade off, leaving the girl quite weak. con fusion seemed to fill her eyes as the fangs vanished. "What..." she gasped before she fell over, eyes closing.

Honey Jade stumbled away, panting a bit. She put a hoof to her neck and stared at the blood for a moment before yelling, "SOKKA!" He wasn't far. She was sure he wasn't far. He wouldn't have left Mirian alone like that...

Amused, Sholazar allowed the sound barrier to fall. if the baby called again, Sokka would hear. If she didn't... well... that was hardly his fault.

That Sokka heard. He twitched the smallest bit as he raced to her. "HONEY JADE! MAIRA! Where are you?! Call again!" he yelled, trying to find them by their voices. As annoyed as he was... he couldn't recall ever having been so glad to hear Honey Jade's voice.

Sokka couldn't help but laugh as he found her. He stopped laughing when he saw them both, Maira out cold, both covered in blood. "What... happened?" he asked, horrified.

"She's a vampire," Honey Jade announced, settling down at the base of a tree. She was starting to feel woozy. "We started playing and she got too into it and bit me."

Sokka sat down hard. "She's a.... what?" she whispered then blinked and got up, rushing to Honey Jade's side. "She bit you? Are you okay?"
"NO!" Sholazar yelled at no one. "Don't just believe her and accept it! She's a baby! They make up stories! IDIOTS!"

Honey Jade giggled a bit. "I'm fine. She might be hurt though. I think I played a little too rough. I feel a little dizzy, though."

Sokka sighed and knelt down before her. "You were born dizzy, girl. Get on my back so I can check on her. There is a thing called restraint, you might need to learn some, yeah?"
