The currency will vary according to region. (I plan on making an entire planet, and a diverse one at that. Some places will be highly technologically advanced, some will be very primitive, some will be dystopian, some will be utopian...) Within the circus itself though, goods and services will be traded for gold pieces, which don't have a name yet. Actually, I could call them peanuts...
My universe is more of an alternate reality, not running ahead, behind or parallel to our world, just.. in another space and time. However, dimensions do cross over sometimes, so my world has some of Earth's aspects to it, and some from other universes.

Yeah, that's a good idea. My story focuses on an unknown past/future setting. Kind of like this one manga called Phoenix by Osamu Tezuka. Each story would be different, but there would be similarities between everything, giving it a sense of history, almost.
It's also called laziness, as far as I'm concerned! xp

The only real character that will always be the same is Miracle, although he will act and behave differently, depending on his goal within the story. In one story, he'll try and stop people from killing one another. In a later story, he is someone committing a one-man genocide. His ultimate destiny, of sorts, is to bring order. That's why Plano is always after his blood; he does the exact opposite Miracle does.
Anyway, yeah, anything new?

Have I mentioned i'm really liking Plano? Something really cool about that guy.
New? Hmmm. Newynewnewnew.
I'm getting close to finishing my quest, only 74k to go biggrin
I just made myself another creature, this one is a llama-bird-demon-type-thing.
AND I LOST MY BLACK PENCIL D: I need that thing.
Other than that, just school, really. And world-making.
I get to go to a Salvador Dali exhibition for Art tomorrow biggrin

I designed him with the phrase 'over the top' in mind. Sort of like a subdued over the top, if you will. The pompadour was because I love 'em ever since Katamari Damacy. 8D

The Persistence of Memory, i beleive. that's arguably his most famous work.

I'm thinking about MadWorld again. You heard of it? It actually got past the Australia Ratings Board or whatever it's called, and that's shocking considering how crazy violent it is.
