"a....are ya sure? thanks alex! wouldn't expect ya to go in the water though, wouldn't wantcha to get hurt or killed or eaten on account 'a me 'n steggy." his ears twitched as they neared the main campgrounds and heard other campers faintly in the distance. he finally got whiff of whatever foul odor was in the air and nearly retched. "oh cripes! what is that? wait, is....is that food? is that what people've been eating the past few days? makes me glad i didn't get ta eat any of it yet, think i might not've keep it down!"

Serena had ran as fast as she could to hide away in the forest. Tears were already flowing down her face and she didn't even bother to mark the way she ran in to be able to find her way back. She didn't care if she ever came back; not after the way she had behaved and treated Chris. He may have been the host, and she may have been doing the challenge, and sure he was a jerk. But she never wanted to cause anyone that kind of pain and to see how much she upset him just destroyed her. She never wanted to do that to ANYONE. She ended up tripping and falling, hurting her knees before crying and sobbing on the ground, not bothering to get up. She hid away her face. She wouldn't go back tonight. Not only had she upset the guy, but now she made her team look like terrible people, which none of them were! And she could have had the Beavers put at risk. She probably had not cried so hard in her life as she did at that moment, with Chef's words ringing in her ears. She was truly nothing more then a bad audio.

Ravyn had taken off from the challenge after he had failed to catch Chris. There wasn't anything else he felt he needed to be there for. He was sitting there debating creating a few new wounds in his body when there was a sobbing camper running through.
He slowly looked up, planning on ignoring her until he heard her trip. Ravyn sighed, standing to look for the camper that had just ran through the area. Keeping silent he found her, and pondered what she was doing. There was no signal to his movement, or his arrival, he was light footed. But she seemed distressed. Something told him that she needed something.
Ravyn looked at her once again, picking her up. He toted her off to a safe spot in the woods, at least a trail would have been better than near a patch of poison ivy. Or perhaps they were in it, he didn't bother to look. Still silent he carried Serena like a sack of taters to a trail before setting her down, sitting next to her.

The blue haired girl looked up at Ravyn when he picked her up, blue eyes looking at him with such sorrow. Her body was shaking with her pain but her sobs had stopped. Tears streaming down her face in silence, she just looked up at him curious as to where they were going. When he set her down, she sniffled and sat next to him, "I'm sorry." her voice was shaking. She looked a wreck, like she was about to break into a thousand pieces. Trying to rub her eyes to turn off the waterworks, she squeaked out, "I'm Serena..." Did this camper know what she had done?

What was this? She was talking to him? HIM? That was new. Ravyn looked at her, not particularly caring if she was still crying or not.
"Ravyn." His voice was calm, hard to tell if it was male or female. Just like everything else about it. Really he didn't care what she had done, he was just sitting out there contemplating cutting, there were worse things but it couldn't have been horrible. "It is okay to cry if you are upset.." He continued, rubbing her arm lightly. No need to have another cutter running around for such a small reason.

"Ravyn," she sniffled a bit, "Nice name." She closed her eyes and the rivers never stopped flowing down her face. Without a single notice, she had her head on the camper's shoulder, not caring who it was. "I should be stronger and smarter then I was tonight and how I am now. I should remember to play the game. By I..." She began shaking once more before softly weeping. Her voice whispered, cracking through sobs, "was a monster."

He held back a sigh, rubbing her arm. His shirt was going to be stained after this. He was more prone to being silent, and just listened to her until the end. Such a female could not possibly be a monster.
"I am sure whatever you did, you are not monstrous." He assured her. No, he had seen monstrous, and she wasn't anything of the sort. Even if she had committed an ill deed.

She turned her face to the face of the camper before her, blue eyes shining up behind those tears, "I made a grown man scream and caused so much pain. I stripped him of something so important to him that the chef stepped in to aid him from me." She turned away sobbing hiding her face ripping her black bandanna off her head. "I broke a grown man.. over a game.." She then hid her face away in her bandanna crying again. This whole experience had seemed to leave her broken as well.

Again with the waterworks? Ravyn pulled Serena into his lap, twisting her face away from the bandanna she was sobbing into.
"Serena, that is nothing. You should not cry like this unless you killed a family member." Been there done that. He looked at her, red eyes having a small sparkle in them due to the light. "If you are afraid of his wraith, just avoid him until you think he might have gotten over what you and the rest of your cabin did to him." Though if he was right about the assumption of who it was, and he was assuming it was that egotistical host, he probably deserved it.

When she was pulled into his lap, she was a little stunned but as he took away her bandanna hiding place. Those innocent blue eyes stared so sincerely to the camper before her. "I don't fear him, Ravyn. I cry like this because I hurt him. I came here with no intentions of hurting anyone. If anything, all I want to do is try my best to make everyone happy. And I did the opposite of that.." She closed her eyes. "To me, hurting anyone like that is.. is.." She couldn't continue with the words as she sniffled, rubbing her eyes and resting her head against the camper's chest. "How could I have been so heartless?"

"So apologize to him when you go back." It was simple. Though knowing their host it was most likely not going to work at all. At least not well.
"Do not worry about making everyone happy, that is impossible." He reminded her. "We all have a side that will hurt people, regardless of our intentions at the time." For some reason those innocent blue eyes compelled him to speak, he never spoke. That was weird. What was wrong with him? "Do not worry about it Serena, you could have done a lot worse."

His simple words were enough to get the tears to stop flowing down her face finally. She sniffled a little before looking up at him. "Thanks Ravyn.." She then sighed and gave him a small hug. Despite her shaking, it was a sincere hug nonetheless. "I just hate to see people so upset and knowing that I was the one who caused it." But he was right. She could have done a lot worse. Letting him go, she continued to rest her head against him. She took in a deep breath. "I think I made your shirt wet.. sorry about that.." If she was able to, she would have offered another shirt.

He took a deep breath. Something was different. "He will be back to his normal self in no time Serena." Ravyn offered, looking at the female who had stained his shirt.
"Do not worry about it, I can wash it out later." He shook his head, the salt water had probably lightened it a shade, but that didn't matter too much to him. They were out here for however long and he only had two or three shirts.

Serena had finally calmed down enough, "Yeah.. maybe I could bake him an apology.." She glanced back at the poor camper. "Thanks for being there for me.. even though you don't really know me much.." She looked down. "I normally don't break down like that but.. well you know what happened." She sighed. "I just hope my cabin doesn't get in trouble because of me.." She glanced back at him, "I haven't met you before, so I guess you're on a different team then me. To be honest," she sighed, "You're the first person I've spoken to who isn't in my cabin." Ugh what a way to introduce herself.

He nodded, reverting to being quiet. "No actually I do not know what happened." He admitted, he just knew she had caused a grown man to break down. "I just know what you told me." Ravyn explained, looking at her.
"I believe I am a seagull, but I do not stay near the cabin or talk to the campers that I am supposed to be teamed with." He gave her a soft laugh. "You are the first person I have spoken to period. Aside from that egotistical host of ours."
