Texas was quite grateful for no new shocks, actually. It gave him the chance to focus on the acorn, and perhaps figure out why it was on the beach that morning. Nothing seemed to be too ordinary about it, but there were no trees in the area of the beach that, as far as he knew, produced acorns like the one he was holding. Kane and Magnus had earlier suggested that the acorn itself was unnatural, but it still seemed perfectly natural from its physical appearance no matter how much he looked at it.
Of course, most acorns didn't start growing bigger. As Texas was observing it, he began to realize that he could no longer hold it in-between his fingers. Rather, it was beginning to become so big he had to support it with his entire hand, and his other one eventually, too. What the hell? Magnus and Kane were definitely right, but he had no idea what it was doing. Instead of talking to Kane and Magnus about it, though, he kept quiet and observed the changes on his own.
It was when the thing began to become blue and white when Texas decided that he could no longer keep himself quiet. "Uh, guys?"
Magnus shushed Texas. The demonic had been so focused on the acorn that he hadn't even noticed Kane had just finished trying to get them to stay quiet. The fae then focused on his surroundings, trying to pick out a sound that sounded suspicious. "Not much besides some rustling, but I'll keep listening."
Texas quickly said, "I don't hear anything either, but look at what happened to the ******** acorn." He pushed forward the acorn that was now almost the size of his head. The stem was white, and the acorn itself had become blue, with white circles on the side. It certainly didn't look like the average acorn anymore, and Magnus reeled backwards.
"...The ******** is that."

Laughing, Aysu ran out to the water after Noel. "Alright!" Not stopping, the naiad ran out into the ocean, feeling the seaweed and sands between her toes. She couldn't help her laughter at how the seaweed stuck itself to her feet, and she plucked it off before diving into the water, her legs merging into a tail.
This water felt really nice! She turned back to Noel with a wide grin, before splashing the water in her Ice Queen's direction to get her a little more wet. "The water's great!" Unlike her younger brother who had a lot of problems with the salt water, Aysu was loving it. In fact, she liked it a little better than the lake! The water was so clear, and there were so many strange and interesting things underneath the water. She ducked under the water for a minute to check out some of the things down there besides for that funny-feeling green weed.

Waikiki KiKi looked back at the waves that Zuri mentioned. It was beautiful. She loved waves. Maybe it was becuase of her power, or her lineage, but still it was wonderful. She concentrated and make them shape into balls. The ball waves looked like they were being tossed around by invisible hands in the water.
Hula Bob nodded to what the fae said. "Yes, you are right dude." He then let the fae go. The demon looked back at his bar with his hand on his head. If he moved it should he just moved it back or to the new beach? He didn't leave this beach so what should he do. He was really lost.

Noel watched how happy Aysu was and couldn't help but laugh along with her. She stepped more slowly into the water and then swam out to where Aysu was.
"Wow, this is nice." She too liked the ocean better. It was cooler and it felt really good on her skin. She shivered happily and reached out for the naiad.

Irritated, Kane whirled around with a snarl. "I swear, there's something out...there...the hell is that?" He blinked, shaken out of his rage by the sight of the odd object. Was that...the same acorn? But how...?
While he was still curious about the noises he'd thought he'd heard, this new discovery was taking priority as the center of attention. Still, he'd keep his senses on alert...never could be too careful.
After a moment, Kane commented, "Told you there was something weird about that thing."

Takeko laughed, crouching and relieving Melek of some of his 'burdens'. "Oh my...well, we wouldn't have to worry about arriving at the HQ hungry!" She laughed lightly, picking a few pieces of fruit and setting them back on the table. "How about just one each for now, Melek dear? There'll be plenty of food at the HQ if you're still hungry later."
She selected an apple for herself, putting a couple others back.
Melek pouted briefly...until the possibility of more food at the HQ was mentioned and he perked up considerably. For now, he was still clinging tightly to his pear as his mom put most of the fruit back. He had his breakfast right here.

The pain briefly left him alone, or it seemed to in any case, when he saw Waikiki Kiki manage to shape the waves into balls that the ocean appeared to be playing catch with. Her power was incredible. The naiad watched the balls of water with fascination, watching them bounce from side to side and closed to them.
"That's really cool," Zuri remarked, a little dazed in his focus just on the water balls. It took him a few seconds to come back to reality. "You have a great ability. That was awesome!" He turned back to his angelic friend with a grin, before the itching came back with a vengence. Now, he could no longer stop himself from scratching his skin furiously in front of her.
He looked a little apologetic. He didn't want to leave the water, but it was quickly looking like the naiad would have to. "You can stay in the water if you want to," offered Zuri Seabrook, as he headed back towards the shore by himself.

Ithyl Forest- Nitidu rubbed her eyes, yawning. As she attempted to move, she noted her muscles were slow to respond, even slower than usual. As she blinked her eyes a few times, she noticed that something was a bit off. Last she checked, there weren't so many trees around where she and her brother of sorts were.
She moved as quickly as her aching muscles would allow to the small green and blue demon Pae and shook him quickly, trying to awaken him from slumber.Arvid grumbled as his slumber was disturbed, batting away his sister with his hand before turning away from her, though this seemed to only make the shaking worsen until he bolted up.
"What's the big idea?" he yawned, rubbing his eyes. "I was taking a nice nap...wait..." he said as his own vision began to clear. "Well this isn't right..." he said, looking up to see Nitidu shake her head no.
Arvid dusted himself off as he began to stand up. "This is really...creepy...I feel like I've been drugged or something..." He snatched Nitidu's hand and gave it a tug. "Come on, let's see if someone else around here knows what's going on..."

Aspen laughed at the two. "Yeah, I think that is a very good idea." He kept the apple and even took a bite. "Good choice on fruit." He said to Melek as he ruffled the boys hair. "Let's go!" He smiled as he was ready to go out into the newish isle.((I'll throw out Cutter for you. biggrin )) Cutter wandered throught the forest. He was a bit shaken as he woke up in a tree and wasn't sure what was going on. He didn't go to sleep in a tree...at least he thought.
He walked a bit further and found a female pae and a boy child. "Hello." He said before popping up and scaring them. He wondered if something had happened to them as well.

"Something weird? There's multiple things weird about this acorn. If it even is an acorn anymore." The acorn was way too heavy and way too big for one. Of course, it was also blue. Nothing really made sense about what he was holding. "I have no idea what happened to it; it just started changing as I was walking and I didn't think it was too weird until this blueness happened."
Magnus knit his brows. "I think we should keep our eyes on that thing."
"Brilliant, Magnus." Texas rolled his eyes and brought the ridiculously large acorn close to his chest. The demonic clutched it like it was a baby Pae'il. He didn't want to drop it or hold it under his arm, but there was no really comfortable way to hold a giant head-sized acorn. Unfortunately, this thing was definitely going to slow their pace. If he went fast while carrying an acorn like this, he was bound to drop it.
"Ya know, this just keeps getting odder and odder. We know what happened, but now we don't know what's happening." Texas lifted his head to get a closer listen to what Kane had been talking about. Now that he thought about it, Texas did think he heard something that was out of place. It sounded like a faint rustling, but it wasn't particularly windy out. "Yeah, I do hear something odd. That way." Unable to move his arms, Texas jerked his head in the direction where he heard the faint sounds.
Magnus, without even suggesting it to the other two, bound off in that direction. Maybe it offered an answer as to what the ******** this strange a** blue acorn Texas was holding was--okay, so maybe Magnus was getting a little irritated.

Aysu took Noel's hand and pulled her over. "Isn't it, though? Hold your breath and look under the water; some of the stuff down there is so cool!" Of course, she would keep her hold on Noel's hand all the while. The naiad then ducked under the water to take another look at everything that was down there, coming up not too long afterwards so Noel wouldn't run out of breath if she decided to follow.
When she came back up, Aysu let go of Noel's hand long enough to clap her hands together excitedly. "I've never seen anything quite like it! Some of those fish are almost as colorful as we are." The naiad giggled cheerfully, deciding that the ocean deserved some kind of first place prize in beautiful.

Nitidu, being the way that she was, propmtly gave a small, garbled screech before finding the nearest tree to hide behind. She shook with fear, as she was of timid nature.
Arvid blinked at the fellow before shaking his head at his sister's responce. "H'lo" he said, smiling a tired smile. He was still feeling just a bit groggy, but wanted answers as well.
"I'm Arvid," he said, offering his hand to the Pae. "That's my little sister Nitidu. Don't mind her, she's just jumpy,"

Noel nodded and went under the water with Aysu. She looked around in awe. You could see reefs and fish. You could see to the bottom as clear as if they were out of water, unlike the lake.
Noel came up with Aysu and took a deep breath. "Wow..." It was the most goregous thing she had seen next o Aysu and snow of course.
Cutter watched the girl run and turned red. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He held his palms turned up to show he wouldn't hurt them.
He turned to Arvid, "I'm Cutter. Did you wake up in a weird place too?" He thought he might as well get to the point.

Arvid nodded at Cutter. "Yeah. I was certain this place didn't have this many trees last I remember walking through...I'm guessing you don't have any idea what's going on either?" he asked, tilting his head.
Nitidu slowly scooted out from behind the tree, still shaking a bit. She was bad with strangers.
"S...sorry..." was the only thing she could force herself to say.

Kane shook his head slightly. He hadn't thought something was odd 'til it turned blue? So basically growing a hundred times its size hadn't set off any alarms? ...whatever.
The predator's mind was back on the noises he'd heard which seemed to be coming closer. Something...maybe a couple of somethings moving this way.
"Alright, weird as this s**t is, first things first. Something's heading our way and I'd rather not wait until it finds us to figure out what it is." Back in hunting mode, Kane turned his senses on the odd noises. Something moving through the woods...and quickly.
---
Finishing putting the rest of the fruit away, Takeko stood and stretched. "Alright, let's go, honey." She reached out for Melek's hand, leading him out the door after Aspen.
Melek skipped along between Takeko and Aspen, happily crunching away at the juicy pear. The winds that had plagued the isle for days were gone, and hopefully that meant the birds would be back to singing soon. Still, the isle was still and the woods quiet for the most part as they set out for the HQ.

"No, I have no clue. I woke up in a tree." He put a hand behind his head as that was a bit weird. He looked up and nodded, "Yeah, it looks more full that for sure. Should we find others?"
Cutter turned to the girl, "No, I'm the sorry one. I shouldn't have burst in here." He smiled at the girl and hoped she wouldn't be nervous for too long.
---
Aspen walked with his family and looked around as he did. Htings just looked odd and different. "It's so weird how it looks the same and doesn't look the same, you know?" He looked at Takeko with his face in a sort of confused look.

The sound of hooves over leaves wasn't exactly the easiest sound to track, at least not for those who weren't experienced hunters. The only answer to Criofan's shouts and insults was more giggling as the creature fled. The big winged thingie was fun!
Uh oh...more noises up ahead. More big things?
The fleeing creature froze, eyes daring for a moment. Couldn't be caught...couldn't be caught...
Swiftly, the creature took up refuge in the thick brush, wiggling back to be completely hidden before the big things could catch up. Maybe they'd keep each other distracted...

As Hula Bob walked back to his bar and family he noticed the hoof prints in the sand. That was odd...very odd for the beach. He had never seen anything like that. And for a brief moment his spirits were lifted. "Awesome."
"Thanks. It really is fun." Waikiki KiKi nodded before she watched him exit the water. She swam close to the shore. "I'm sorry Zuri. Do you want to head back to the lake? That way you can feel better and I can see my family too?"
