Luca: ~Rennard Apartment Complex~
"Here, there are still a few pieces stuck to you. Now, tell me how you got all this on you. Hey, are you listening?"
Yeah I was listening...just didn't want to answer...
Ooooo, phone ringing. Pick it up, it's for you.
"Sort of. I'll, um, tell you about it later. Are you ok? I'm in a strange bind myself, but I can come find you if you really need me to. How would you like to meet a strange man named Luca?"
"Hey! Whoa! Hold on just a second buddy!", I was shaking my hands spastically, "Who said I wanna meet your girlfriend? Besides you can't take me in! You have nothing to take me in........Ooooooohh..."
Yeah I had forgotten about the chick...seemingly dead...I had a taste for the morbid, but I wasn't about to walk over there and poke her...
...not while this guy was still around anyhow.
"No offense buddy. I'm sure we'd have a great time and all but I think I'd like to stay up here if that's ok with you", I noticed the inherent flaw in my comment, "and if it's not then I'm staying up here anyway."
He wasn't gonna take me in. Even if he did, cellblock bars were not gonna keep me inside for long...
I concentrated as hard as I could, drawing the last bits of celestial energy I had inside me and began molding another spike from the metal on the floor...
Yeah! Hell yeah I was bluffing! I woudln't be able to throw it at him if my life depended on it, but he didn't seem to know much about Celestials, and if it was enough to scare him then I would be in the clear.
"It's been nice to meet you officer. Honest. But I have to get going now. Do you understand?"

Duncan: ~The "Give Peace a Chance" alley~
"Make love, not war, make love, not war, make love, not war..."
Yep that's X alright. Celestial hippies. Just what I need.
"Cripes, don't you recongize him? It's X! X!"
WHo the hell says "Cripes!" in this day and age anyway?
Yep that's X alright.
I thought I was acquainted with his more unorthodox methods of crowd control...being a peacemongering hippy wasn't one of them. Yeah I knew he was a tree-hugger...just didn't expect him to come out of the closet like this...hehehe....
The cops turned around...impecable timing X. Just as they did I got up...still in pain...and began jogging towards the alley's exit...I was out in the clear now...as I ran, I waved at X.
Thanks buddy.
Yeah I still hate Celestials. This one's OK though.
Lesee now....FM....FM HQ...where in the bloody hell am I? Which way's north?
Just keep running Duncan....just keep running....

Thessaly Le' Alley.
The use of distraction is a manuveur that could be a part of any plan, and serves one purpose, to give some time. X was a non-violent man in a certain extent and would only use force if someone's life was at stake. His wits allowed him to make pacifistic choices in the most violent of situations. Besides, no one really wants to get hurt since we are all rational beings. At least that's what he hopes for.
Like Duncan, he was going to leave the scene with little trouble with the use of distraction. Remotely using his ability with metal, he began gathering the little pieces of metal found around the alley into a cluster. Along with the swaying of his hands and his chant, X began to bounce them around the alley. Such a simple display of moving metal required little concentration and a lot of distraction. His chanting lulled as he dropped his arms to his sides, and simply began walking away. He slipped across the crowd and was going to eventually stop with his metal play once he was out of sight.

Parafli ~With Dierdre and Korin~
"2 organizations asking for my help within one day... I guess I just don't come off as the type you want to avoid anymore."
Chuckling, he waited for the 2 thugs coming towards him. He didn't make a move as they advanced, until one lifted his knife and charged. Moving swiftly, Parafli kicked out the man's legs. As he fell face first, Parafli slammed the dagger into the ground with the point up. The man could see where he was headed as he fell, but there was nothing he could do. Slamming into the ground, the dagger impaled itself into his forehead, killing him instantly.
The man's helper for the attack stared down at his falln comrade in silent awe. Using his shock as an advantage, Parafli pulled his deceased enemie's knife out of his limp hand and brought it up in a vertical slash across his chest. The thug stumbled away from him a few steps, before he flat out collapsed onto his back. He was dead before he hit the ground.
"You two..."
Parafli muttered. He was also growing weary. After using all his celestial powers to get away from the cops following his "fun" wih the FM agent and the AGSA member, he was relying souly on skill with the blade. And, though he had plenty of that, he was still getting tired.
But, none the less, he wasn't NEARLY as tired as the two women obviously were.
"...you're both exhausted, and thanks to these idiots you're having some trouble breathing. So get outta here... don't argue with me, and don't take it as pity either - if you died here, the cops would just assume *I* killed you... I don't mind them chasing me for things I DID do, but I REALLY hate being blamed for things I wasn't a part of."
Nodding at them, he suddenly spun around and drove his foot into the rib cage of another thug who seemed to think Parafli didn't know he was sneaking up on him. The man's ribs caved under the pressure of Parafli's kick, collapsing on his heart. Wheezing, the man fell onto his rump and coughed up blood, before crumpling to a heap on the ground.
"So it's a simple trade off. You don't want to die, and I don't want to be accused of killing you. Fair enough? Good. Now get outta here..."
He muttered softly, pulling back the sleeves of his shirt. Both hands glew green as he closed his eyes, gaining the energy needed to propel this technique. There was still a good 20 thugs left... if this didn't take them all down at once, Parafli was finished. He barely had enough energy to do this move in the first place, so after he was finished he would barely be able to move. He just hoped he'd be able to move enough to get himself into a solitudal location, so that he didn't get busted during his much needed after faint.

Korin ~Lower Level. Mytirilis Ave.~
"So it's a simple trade off. You don't want to die, and I don't want to be accused of killing you. Fair enough? Good. Now get outta here..." Korin shot him a dirty look. "Listen, friend. I appreciate the help (I really do), but I'm not so pathetic to leave you fighting these guys by yourself." She looked around herself, where more thugs began to advance. She looked at her's and Deirdre's rescuer. He was panting a bit. Korin felt his aura begin to grow and opened her eyes wide. What is he doing!? He doesn't have enough power left to pull a move like that! Even if he does, he'll be unconscious for days... Korin pulled his sleeve and began to whisper in his ear, still keeping a sharp eye on the thugs. She pulled the sleeve harder, attempting to bring him down to her level. "Listen!" she said in a hushed tone, "If you finish that spell, you might not get all of them. You'll be knocked out, and then what'll you do? Come on, lets run for it, I've got a small shield spell that'll hold them off for now." She looked up at him hopefully. "Come on, you can get a nice meal and bed, just for tonight. Come back to our HeadQuarters. We're friends! Come, please! This is senseless." The thugs approached faster. She elbowed his side. "What's it gonna be!?"

((Meh, lazy. Let's just say the cop people NPC's got confuzzled and sufficiently distracted by the bouncing metal; Duncan and Thessally got away. Go them! Whoot! heart ))
Deirdre: ~Lower Level, Mytirilis Ave.~
While the chaos ensued, Deirdre watched from behind. So, he was 'one of those' - a Celestial who saw nothing wrong with killing; it was a kill or be killed world, right? This was an attitude that Deirdre didn't necessarily agree with, but her work in Isis had introduced her to tons of the types. They did have a point, of course...for a Celestial, that was the world - kill or, rather unattractively, be killed. But Deirdre still felt guilt for that one man she'd killed while escaping Chrest, and he was a monster of a man that enjoyed the pain the experiments induced.
I suppose if I concentrate enough, I might be able to fight a little, but there's no guarantee that I won't end up our like our confident guy over here and be lying on my back in a few minutes.
"I agree," said Deirdre, speaking quickly and slating her eyes towards the approaching thugs. Her tone had turned a little colder since she'd seen him unleash his violence. "that there's no way in heck you have a chance, I don't care how strong you are as a Celestial. Come back to Isis with us. You don't have to join...just live. You won't for long if you prowl the streets in this condition."
This is not the first combat he's seen today. What's going on in the city? Regardless if I like his methods or not, I'm not about to allow him in front of Hiram's firing squad.
Hiram: ~Outside Magazine Shop, Westcheston Street~
"Luca?" His mind scanned the new information for any recongition. No, he'd never met/read about/heard about any man named Luca. "Finding me might be a problem." His gruff voice paused for a second as he realized how utterly helpless he was going to sound in about five seconds. "I've been....well, blinded...by one of those Celestials. I don't have a damnedest idea where I am myself."
Releasing the cell phone from its position by his ear for a moment, he leaned his head back as he realized what he would need to do.
Hiram hated acting, and especially feeling, helpless. And most of the time, even when pitted against the likes of powerful Celestial beings, he wasn't. He'd mastered the art of learning when to shoot, and when to run like hell. He knew the expressions on the monster's face when they working their satanic brand of 'magic', and several different ways to get out of the potentially bad situation that might bring. He had a quiet life in the better sections of town even though he was an underpaid cop, and though his wife might rely on him, he made sure he never relied on anybody.
But he had no choice - he'd have to find a warm body, and explain to them in simpering tones that he lost his seeing-eye dog; could they please help a poor blind man with directions and transport?
"Never mind." He growled, making sure the cool metal touched his ear again. "I'll get there myself. Just get down to HQ and bring Luna with you, or whatever their name was."

Sammuel: ~Rennard Apartment Complex~ "Are you sure?" Sam demanded of his partner. He knew that if he had been blinded he'd want his partner searching for him, not trusting himself to finesse and luck. SuiZ "No offense buddy. I'm sure we'd have a great time and all but I think I'd like to stay up here if that's ok with you", I noticed the inherent flaw in my comment, "and if it's not then I'm staying up here anyway." "I'll have to call you back." He hung up immediately. SuiZ "It's been nice to meet you officer. Honest. But I have to get going now. Do you understand?" "I understand that you're threatening me," Sammuel cautioned. "Although I'm not sure why." That was a lie, but he tried it any way. "I just want to ask you a few questions. It's my job to ask you a few questions. Would you like to answer them here?" He had the tone of speaking to a person he thought might be deranged or, at the very least, dangerous and animal like. Stalling was almost always the right thing to do. The power frightened him, amazed him, and maybe that showed on his face, but something didn't click right. Why had the guy accepted his help taking that crap off him if he could do it with a flick of his wrist? Was he trying to hide what he was even though having that armor on in the first place made him seem out of the ordinary? Or was he really insane? Sam just hoped that he could get the guy to calm down again and, if he couldn't force him to come with him, at least answer questions.

Parafli ~These are quite pointless sometimes, no?~
Parafli blinked at Korin, allowing the wind energy he had been gaining to die out, returning it's energy to his blood cells. Smirking, he chuckled at her.
"...Alright, you win. I hate to admit it - but death doesn't sound quite as intriguing as a warm meal..."
Nodding in acknowledgement, he placed his dagger back in his belt carefully. There was a plastic cover that went over the blade part which he never bothered removing from his pants originally. Driving his elbow into the throat of one of the thugs, he watched him crumple to the ground in an unconcious heap. Turning to Dierdre now, he nodded at her. Though he was far too hardened to admit to even himself that he had any emotions besides uncaring, he appreciated their concern.
"Yes yes... though I never said I wouldn't join. I just said I've got 2 people asking me in the same day to join their little group. I might join you guys, who knows... being a loner just isn't as much fun these days. So then..."
As the thugs formed a weak circle around them, Parafli nodded at the two women.
"Are we walking, or do you have some mode of transportation around here?"

Thessaly Outside Magazine Shop, Westcheston Street
The traces of destruction soon began to thin as he walked farther away from the alley. The crowds began to thin as well as time passed by, when their interests were fading along with the wonderful clean up job his fellow sanitation engineers were doing. All the evidence had been processed and collected already, quicker than most perhaps due to the rumours of Celestial activities but no one really believes in such fairy tales. Except the fairies and a select few...
"Excuse me," Thessaly softly muttered as he tapped the shoulder of a man in distress, "I couldn't help hearing you from over here but you're here at Peter's Paper Stand, and I could help you to your home sir."
Thessaly gave a slight nod to Peter, friend and the owner of the stand, to relieve the frustation on his face. The man was willing to help the blind one, but he couldn't just leave the place alone, the place put the food on the table and the roof over his apartment.
"I got this Pete," Thessaly smiled and turned back to the blind man, "Just tell your friend on the cell, Luca was it?, that you'll be in my good hands."

"I understand that you're threatening me. Although I'm not sure why. I just want to ask you a few questions. It's my job to ask you a few questions. Would you like to answer them here?"
Aaaarrrggghhh!! Bloody relentless cop! He's gonna make me grow an ulcer!
Theer goes my concentration
I watched in horror as the spike of metal I was beginning to craft out of the debris suddenly let gravity act on it as it tore off the metal and fell to the floor with a soft clinking sound.
Oooooookay. SO maybe my bluff's been called
I slowly looked up at the cop and smiled hypocritically.
"Yeah we can talk here."

Sammuel: ~Rennard Apartment Building~
"Alright, good," Sam responded when it appeared that Luca let down the metal softly. He gave him a critical eye trying to determine if Luca needed help out of any more of his metal catastrophe.
"Let's sit down if you have chairs in here," he said, closing the door behind him for privacy. "And you tell me how you got into this mess." That put it in almost a positive light, like maybe it wasn't Luca's fault that he was in this mess. Afterall, Sammuel was in this mess with him to some degree. He had to figure out how to get answers from him.
He looked around the room as he asked his question, both looking for a chair and noting the extensive damage he guessed that Luca had caused.

Crosse: ~Chrest HQ~
Crosse walked around the enormous office that topped the Kirielle Towers, secret HQ to the Chrest Organization. Which wasn't much of a secret anyways, seeing as how most people living in Andel assumed that's what went on inside the towers anyways. Besides, the media had managed to make it an urban legend before the CHrest PR machine had a time to react.
He lighted a cigarette and stopped in front of the 9 foot tall window that adorned the office, right behind his desk. The view of Andel and the barrier was marvellous from there. He took a puff of his cigarette, turning it up so as not to drop ash on the crimson red carpet that covered the entire office.
Oh, Adrienne. What are we going to do with this city? Heh heh heh.
He knew about the events that had went down earlier today. He knew everything from Hiram's crash, to Korin's water show, to Parafli's stunt to the ultimate demise of Sazuko and the peacemongering display of X. Everything. Crosse and Adrienne kept close check on each other (as well as scouts and snitches all over the city) and therefore seemed to be eavesdropping on both their agents more often than either of them cared to admit.
These are not the Celestials you're looking for Adrienne. She did not kill your puny dog's son. Hiram's gonna soon find out who did it.
Meanwhile, I have better things to do...that wind elemental kid has too much power inside him. Maybe I should send someone after him. And the psychic witch...she has more power than she realizes. I try not to mess with Isis too much though.
Taking over Andel one Celestial at a time.
Crosse reached for the Intercom on his desk
"Mirielle?", my lovely and rash secretary answered, "Get Mr. O'Malley in here."
We had assignments to be performed. O'Malley will bring me the kid.

Right then.
"Alright, good" "Let's sit down if you have chairs in here, and you tell me how you got into this mess."
I wasn't quite sure what exactly he meant by "this mess"...but he clearly wasn't talking about the metal plates.
...or was he?
"That's quite the general question officer."
I made him follow me around the apartment, to the room just adjacent to my studio.
"Chairs for your majesty" I gestured towards the metal chairs that were close to the breakfast table I had set up, "Myself? I'm after some tea. You clearly stated you wanted no part in my tea giveaway. So make yourself comfortable and ask away as I make...some tea", I turned and looked at him, grinned, and said "Just remember...general questions will get you general answers."

Sammuel: Luca's Room
"Fair enough," he agreed, heartened by Luca's willingness to answer questions at all. Sammuel was not trying the tough guy act, and therefore came off more as an interested scholar. He took the metal chair, not quite sure yet if he understood Luca's power. Was his power with just anything? He didn't know it was with metal.
"How did you get that metal twisted around you? And are you hurt?" The last question was like an afterthought.

Luca: ~My apartment...my own...~
"A small showering accident...I take showers with hot metal you know? Helps circulation", yeah, not expecting you to buy it anyways
"Listen", I said, still thinking this guy was only a cop, "there are greater forces than humans at work here. Better races. Better things out there than the mere flesh and bone you people seem to be so proud of. I belong to one such race."
I poured some tea in a cup, raised the cup and blew the steam away.
Taking a quick sip I added "s**t that's hot!"
Given. I didn't add anything of relevance but it was an addition to my previous statement anyway.
"Thanks for your concern though. A few scratches here and there but other than that I'm fine."
I sat down beside him. Trying to analyze what went on in his tiny little head.
And then it hit me.
AGSA
That was it! Why on earth would a rookie cop be so interested in asking me questions as opposed to bringing me in right away for murder?! The chick accross the hall was a celestial as well ("Was"...heh heh heh). It was the only explanation! No wonder he didn't take off screaming after the obvious displays of unnaturalness I showcased outside!
My grip tightened around the cup's handle while the words of a man I once knew echoed inside my head "Very few Celestials survive an encounter with an AGSA agent"
I was shocked. Yet relieved when I remembered his gun was useless. No point letting him know I know. Maybe he doesn't know I know. Giving me an edge on trying to know what he knows without letting him know what I know he knows..........................
