"Alright, the nearest entrance to Vampiris is this way," Radiaas said as he led her to the entrance. He noticed a female vampire hiding in the shadows of the entrance, she looked lost and was laden with weapons, Radiaas walked over to her, "Hello, there, do you need some help?"

Neer thought that the male vampire had missed her hiding spot, he seemed busy with work. But, when he began to walk towards her, and ask her if she needed assistance, it was obvious that she had been found. Neer stepped out of the shadow, and stood tall and confident in front of the man, "I am a traveling mercenary. I mean no harm towards you or the people of this city." Neer waited for the man to approach her, and demand to know who she was, that is how she had always been greeted.

Radiaas put a hand to his chin, "hmmm," the girl had a defensive air, she would be useful, "What's your name? And are you interested in a little work, for Lord Arogani?"

Raising an eyebrow Serenus looked at the women. She seemed frail and small, not what you would expect for a warrior. "Uh?"

Neer squared her shoulders, standing quite a bit shorter than both the male, and the female he accompanied, "My name is Neer. What kind of work does your Lord ask?"

Neer bowed slightly to the man, never taking her eyes off of his face. "Of course not, friend." The woman stood straight again and gazed calmly at the man and women in front of her. Sizing them up, deciding who was the bigger threat.

Serenus didn't want to share her quest, her need to belong. Her eyes were fitted on the women, she caught herself making an ugly face. A cruel expression. Turning her attention to Radiaas, she looked for answers.

Radiaas pointed to the hole, "The Star is waiting," he said, waiting for either of the girls to climb down.

Neer fixed her gaze on the hole the woman had disappeared through, it was easy to tell that she was uncomfortable. She stepped back onto her right foot, and rested her hand on one of her Sias. "You trust too easily, sire." She looked again at the male, and then into the hole at his feet. She jumped in, bending her legs in preparation to land. Her fingers never leaving the handle of her slim weapon, she fell through the dark, quietly landing on the hard ground.

Radiaas lept down after the two girls, landing easily on his feet, they were outside the slums of Vampiris. Radiaas explained to the girl the legend of Armal, and the quest of Arogani's, then he calmly explain the many gruesome ways she could die if she turned against seri or himself, or, worst of all, lord Arogani.

The slim girl listened to Radiaas explaining the story, but looked around their location. There were broken down houses, and children playing in rags. A pang of pity and regret shot through Neer, and her face twisted into an expression of pain. She dearly loved children, and seeing them like this was hard for her. She closed her eyes to the sight, and turned her head to the side, still listening to the man speaking next to her, but denying the pain around her.
