Andromeda laughed when Narcissa nearly squealed when Lucius entered the common room. It did not take much convincing for her to go after him and talk to him. She stayed, keeping an eye out for Snape, but after a few moments of failure, she excused herself from Beatrix, leaving the common room. She knew the chances of finding him were extraordinarily low, so she simply headed towards her favorite tree just before the lake. She was surprised to see her cousin with that Prewett girl, but a part of her hoped he'd settled down. She didn't hate him as much as he thought she did. Even though she was proud to be a Black, she understood that he had been suffocating being one. She wasn't very surprised that he'd ruined the family's honor. That thought brought her back to Ted Tonks. She groaned softly, sitting down at her tree ungracefully. It was a good distance from Sirius, so she could not hear their conversation. Besides, she was lost in her own thoughts.

Drusilla noticed the girl below her flop to the ground, ruining the perfectly semetrical circle she'd made with fallen leaves. One hundred perfect leaves, all thrown into the sky by a frustrated...Slytherin if the scarf was any judge.
Half of the heiress wanted to strangle said slytherin for the careless destruction of perfection, the other half didn't care and wondered what the problem might be.
"You seem troubled." She spoke softly, staring at the girl from her treetop perch. "I'm willing to listen."

Andromeda raised an eyebrow looking towards the girl. She had seen her before. The Germanicuses were a wealthy wizarding(?) family. Their views however, were just as disgusting as the Prewetts. But none the less, she was not a Mudblood, so she spared her a glance. "What are you talking about?"

Drusilla rolled her eyes. Her father always told her Blacks were a bit on the slow side. "If I was talking about something I wouldn't be asking you to talk now would I? If I was talking I wouldn't have even bothered for your opinion. Now, you seem troubled, what's wrong?"
((Sorry, schools been killing me))

((No problem, this week has sucked for me too, which is ironic, since it's my birthday Saturday. I hope for sme reason it's good enough to make up for this week.))
Andromeda reached up and rubbed her temple. How could it hurt to tell a stranger? Heaving a sigh, she murmured, "It is a large number of things. I am worried about my cousin," she nodded in Sirius's direction, "and about..." she hesitated, once it was said there was no taking it back. "I attempted to speak of this to him, but, well, everyone knows that he and family do not get along." She was stalling, she knew it but could not help it. Finally, she just said it, "There is a possibly that I like a mudblood." The derogitory term came out simply because it was a part of her usually vocabulary. Not because she wanted to insult Ted in anyway.

"Oh my." Drusilla couldn't comprehend what sort of turmoil might be going through the young woman's head at the moment. Her family, while they didn't care one way or other about mixed breeds, was very strict when it came to dating and personal relations.
"You my dear, need someone to help you hatch a plan." Drusilla swung down from her perch in the tree, revealing that she wasn't wearing a skirt, but a pair of shorts. "And while we may be in different houses, I doubt our families would completely disagree with our association."
A very businesslike way of saying 'Oh em gee, that is so romantic, let's be friends.'

Andromeda turned to her, raising an eyebrow. She was right, and besides the rest of her family would be biased against Sirius, so anything she did would be better, since she was a Slytherin. She nodded once, "Ravenclaw is an acceptable house, no doubt. And besides, I am sure that someone of your intelligence would be quite helpful. Have you any ideas at the moment?"

Drusilla pursed her lips and hought, taking into account the variables and characters of those involved.
"Nothing jumps to mind at this moment, as there are many things to be considered. Perhaps if I could obtain a copy of your schedule? Accidental meetings are all too rarely accidental."

Andromeda's head tilted back, a crystal chuckle erupting from her. It was rare for her to just laugh for joy, without it being at someone else's expense. And even rarer for it to not be with out her sisters. She was beginning to really enjoy this Ravenclaw girl's company. "Sure, are you smart enough to remember it verbally, or do you need me to write it down? If so, then can I have a piece of paper."

"I can tell you right now that intelligence rarely has anything to do with memory, in fact intelligence is probably the worst thing to ever happen to memory were you to consider all the happenings to memory and then commit those happenings to memory." Drusilla went silent for a moment as she wrapped her head around the conundrum and gramatic nightmare she'd just given herself. Shaking her head she nodded at Andromeda. "I would suggest you write it down, just to save some time and confusion."

Andromeda raised an eyebrow, deciding the girl may just be insane. "Very well," taking out a piece of paper, she began to write out her schedule:
Monday: Ancient Runes at 10, Double Charms at 4 Tuesday: Herbology at 11, Arthmancy at 3 Wednesday: Transfiguration at 9, Potions at 2 Thursday: Defense Against the Dark Arts at 11, Astronomy at 10 PM (obviously) Friday: History of Magic at 2
Afterward, she handed Drusilla the paper, nodding to her. "Here you go." Because it was still the first day, she asked, "Ravenclasw is supposed to be with us during Transfiguration. Are you in any other of my classes?"
((I'm sorry if I left anything out, or whatnot. And I couldn't decide how long the classes actually were so...If you have a problem with it, just tell me and I'll edit it.))

"Herbology yes, as well as Astronomy. However, I have the defense class with Gryffendor this year. Perhaps I should begin putting in a good word..." Drusilla shook her head. "You know, I never actually understood the point of Arithmancy, or what it was."
The heiress then put her arm through Andromeda's and began to lead her towards the school. "Come along, if you're to get anywhere with this boy you should start finding new things to do. Maybe something he likes?"
((BTW, does anyone know what it is? the closest i can think of is magical math))

Andromeda's eyes widened, actually surprised. Most of her class was from Ravenclaw, since it was stereotypically a more difficult and intellicutal class. "Are you in Divination?" She said the course sarcastically, as it did not deserve a course. "Arithmancy is logic and divination combined. We use numbers to help predict trends." She paused for a second, trying to remember how she'd explained it to Bellatrix, "Like if you want to make a love potion for someone you're fond of," Ted, "Arithmancy can help you find when it'll work the best based on him." Arithmancy was the only reason she wasn't so worried about this Mudblood thing. None of her and Ted's numbers coinsided. She also checked variations on their names (yes, it was a fairly large crush) Andromeda Tonks, Theodore Tonks, Dromeda Tonks/Black, none of them worked. So this was a short-term thing.
She frowned slighlty. Andromeda had no clue what he liked. She had never allowed herself to get close enough to check, "He's on the Quidditch team, and I think he enjoys Transfiguration. But otherwise I am not sure."
((That's the best way I can describe it. Um...here's a website.))
