(( I've got to get going now. D: I'll be back tomorrow~ ))
Nils stared back, remaining still. "Hikaru..." His voice was softer than before, and... almost needy. His hand curled around Fire Dragon's hand lightly.
And then, he remembered where they were, and he moved his hand off of FD's. "We shouldn't... There's still others around, you know. It wouldn't be right..."
Alihi paused. "... What, you're surprised that I can be blunt?" She sighed lightly, returning the hug only to a point where it wouldn't seem too awkward.

His stomach felt like it went up into his throat. Wh..what is he doing?! That little- ....Wait... I've got no reason to be jealous... ...dang it... Without thinking, Abel rushed out.

Oh, he had the audacity to push her away like he hadn't touched her. How terribly charming. Even as he approached, Ayra's gaze remained perfectly caustic as she looked back to Aimee with a warning glare. The merchant fidgeted visibly, muttering an excuse to herself before walking away, clearly not in any mood to deal with a jealous lover. Tibarn had no such luck.
"He did, just so I could check up on you. I'm heading back, since you clearly seem to be... entertained. I'll see you at home."
Her voice was clipped, curt, and had a special bite to it at the end- he'd have a lot of explaining to do, later on.

[Bai, Nils!]
Fire Dragon felt the alcohol in his blood boil away from the fire building up inside him due Siegell's second intrusion. "Tonight then," he told Nils. Suddenly sober again, FD had a mind to go Dragonic and Flametongue the front door down - or perhaps form a flame pillar just behind the door as a gift for Siegell during his next, probably inevitable, intrusion.

(I was at a party from 1:00 to 10:00. And the FEF party just happens to start on the same day. Ugh.)
Valter stumbled in to the room, helf asleep. (Yep. The sleeping excuse again.) "Huh? Wha? Oh, right. Party," he mumbled.

"Well, Alihi, I'm just saying that it's good that you know what your heart wants." He chuckled a bit, ending the hug. But, as he glanced past his friend's head, he saw Abel scampering off in some other direction.
Oh, you FREAKIN' JERK! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU? Ah, crap. Fix it. NOW!
So, Zelos looked back at Alihi. "Ah, jeez, I think I pissed off your boyfriend. Lemme go take care of this." He said, cracking his fingers and going into a quick walk to hopefully catch up with the boy.

Ed scratched at her cheek as she vaguely noticed Valter enter. He didn't seem like he had been prepared for it either. Weren't they supposed to spar at some time? Ed glanced down at her battle gear again and figured a spar during a party wasn't very fitting.

Abel didn't know why he ran; he just did. It was something instinctive from when he was really little that he was always fighting against. He sat outside, irritated at himself for giving in.

A dazed Valter wandered around the room with no specific destination in mind, in a sad attempt to mingle.

In addition to the DJ stand, a customary band was also hired in the event that either 1) Nobody felt like listening to booming music any longer or 2) Said DJ stand was destroyed by glaives and/or fire magic and/or Granny N wanting Social Security and being particularly violent about it. Every now and again, the DJ took a break, and the band would break up into a song or two. The band wasn't particularly bad, though their singer seemed to be a bit off--he appeared to not have had much practice with the songs, and was often struggling to stay on-key. Furthermore, it was hard to avoid noticing his occasional cough, plus the fact that his red-feathered hat was covering his face.
Finally, most people, whether sober or not, noticed a visible change in the singer's tune--he'd suddenly become a lot better! Healthier, too. Also... where did his hat go?
The former singer made his way through the crowd, having enough fun to avoid noticing his exit from the band. He was making a beeline straight for Amelia, wanting to get as close to her as fast as possible. After all, she was wearing in his opinion a very sexy outfit, and although he was a Bishop, Rhys was still a man. Once he was within a dozen feet of her and Lyre, he at least removed his hat and tossed it into the air.
It had taken quite a bit of work to make a hat like that--black implied darkness, and darkness just wasn't a holy man's specialty. Illusionary black hats simply wouldn't work with his magical mojo. No, the trick was to interweave both thread and magic, working with the tailor to add the spell into the fibers of the hat. Once it had been thrown up into the air, Rhys could at last let go of the spell. The hat silently collapsed in on itself, replacing the space it previously occupied with an upward explosion of brightly glowing four-leaf clovers. The illusionary clovers drifted apart, slowly gliding toward the ground.
Secretly, Rhys was thankful he'd found a few other lads and lasses around town who were good with light magic.
Not-so-secretly, he hoped that got Amelia's attention.
(Honestly, this is gonna be my only post 'til morning. Night, y'all!)

Melethia had NOT ment to set something on fire this time. She she was glad when she had missed a wall. "Sorry!" She yelled. She sat down, bored again. "I need more friends." she mummbled as she put the tome away again.

KuraiKitty Oh, he had the audacity to push her away like he hadn't touched her. How terribly charming. Her voice was clipped, curt, and had a special bite to it at the end- he'd have a lot of explaining to do, later on. The hawk winced at that one, and sighed. Okay, no, it probably wasn't fair to get that jealous over a dance, but he couldn't fault her on it because if he saw her dancing with someone like that, he'd probably have punched them in the face. He jogged out into the parking lot, his jacket and vest forgotten. "Okay, hon, please," he called. "There is a very good explanation why I am shirtless, which I know makes all of this look a lot worse than it really is." He jumped and glided after her to catch up, landing beside her. He still smelled like fruit punch. Damnit.

[[Hey, look who's awake. 'o']]
Amelia had drifted for a while during the party, just observing the others. Melethia was still sulking, and Ayra had caught Tibarn dancing with Aimee... that would be a fun explanation. That, or we'll be able to hear the floorboards quaking later with the make-up sex, Amelia thought absently, sipping punch. She vaguely realized she'd been drinking a lot of punch during that party, and set down her cup.
Siegell had come back in, but not long enough for her to yell his face off, so she left him be. FD was also getting quite, quite drunk... I'll have to talk to him about that. Amelia was about to stand up and investigate Siegell's disappearance -- if she had any inkling to his personality, then he was likely to be lurking around somewhere near, if not right outside the door -- when she caught sight of some rather fast walking out of the corner of her eye.
She turned, and her eyes brightened to see Rhys, having donned some rather nice clothes, making the four-leaf-clover pinned to his jacket lapel stand out, toss up his hat and watch it explode into a shower of glowing clovers. Amelia watched in astonishment as they floated out in a wide arc, then drifted lazily to the floor. No matter how often she saw it, magic was always something that could easily fascinate her, especially given her ineptitude with that kind of power entirely.
"You made it...!" Amelia cheered. She rushed towards him and gave him a big hug, giggling. She pulled away, beaming at him. She laughed again and touched her index finger against his monocle. "What's this for?"

Alihi only nodded as Zelos left her alone to go talk with Abel. Once he was gone, she leaned against the wall and groaned. She wanted to go after them as well, and probably should have, too. She just couldn't will her feet to move. Her hand rested on top of her necklace, lingering there for a few seconds, before she carefully took of the necklace. She stared at it, sparkly slightly in the light, resting in the palm of her hand, before her fingers closed around it. "..."
Nils blinked, his composure regained. "Alright, Hikaru..." "... Note to self: tell Hikaru to lay off on the martinis."

Melethia got up and looked around to see if there was any Vodka hidden somewhere. She was quite bored and desided she might as well get drunk. Though she never could remember what ELSE happens when she gets drunk.
