Danish sighed and saw the paper in 'Cad's hand. "What's that?"

John turned back to his drink. Interesting....perhaps there's something to do here after all...
AS the man's question was answered Jack found a little hope in the situation. Perhaps, if this place really had everything, then perhaps...perhaps somewhere in this city was a place that could get him to where he wanted to go.

Danish looked at him oddly. "Clan leader?" He looks over Cad's shoulder. ".....I didn't know they advertised."

Danish ninja-jumped over the counter and came back with a book, 'Clan Dossiers,' and began to leaf through it. "Well, you see, the city doesn't really have a leader so much as several ruling factions that basically control the city.....Aha!" He holds up a page. "According to this.....They are rumored to be somewhere in an 'industrial district.' Maybe Mecha Main Street? Not much is known about them, though they are reported to have a high security facility and allies." Danish then closes the thin book. "Did that help any?"

Danish laughed. "What a name! Well, I'm Danish. It was a pleasure to meet you. By any chance, would you like a room?"

Danish looked as a cleaning Prinny came back with some room keys. "We just happen to have some rooms open." Sanish passes Cadwallander a key to room 205. "Here you go. Enjoy your stay!" He then slides a key to John. "And there's your key, sir. Room 309."

John finished off his cider and took the key. He wondered for a moment how to pay for this, seeing as how he wasn't exactly grom around here. He took out a handful of gold and diamond pieces he had picked up from his last stop. He placed them on the bar. "This should cover the room and the drink." He walked out of he bar and made his way to his room. When he reached it, he laid down, but he couldn't sleep. He looked out his window and looked at the city he would be exploring soon.
Jack opened his mind's eye enough to get him to the bar without his stick. He walked up to the owner of the bar. "Er, excuse me, but could you provide me with a little information about the...er...clans."

Areashine watched all the events with a mild amusement.
"Hmmm...a city with everything and anything could happen," she thought to herself. "This place could be dangerous if one were to step on too many toes..."
She started to walk up to the stage with her pan flute. She jumped up on the dusty stage that still had the marks of her dance. She sat down crosslegged and began to push air into the flute slowly to warm it up. Small fluttery noises were heard coming out of it. Once she had satisfactorily warmed up her instrument, she began to play an ancient song. It was haunting and slow. It was a song about a forbidden love and a sorrowful death of a young maidan. The music flooded the room so that was the only sound you could hear. Once the song had finished, Areashine bowed her head in a small sort of prayer, jumped off the stage, headed back to the bar and sipped some more of her orange juice.

Danish clapped after hearing the fine performance. "Bravo! Bravo!" He then turned, hearing the blind man's question. "Well, good sir, from what I understand, the clans are factions within the city, mostly with different motives and animosity towards each other. They're the closest thing to leaders around this city and.....that's really all I know."

Jack tried to specify whaat he wanted to know. "Do any of these clans have anything to do wth magic....or would perhaps be very technologically inclined?" He still had his mind's eye opened and couldn't help but overhear the guard's thoughts. Poor guy must be really lonely. Maybe he could help him a bit. He pushed through the thoughts everyone wasgiving off and pushed into the guard's mind. It wouldn't take much. Just a little push in his ego....no wait, that would jsut make him a jerk....courage? Maybe...Ah here...self-confdence. A little push. Jack used his telekinetic powers to perform what he learned to be called the "push". It basically pushed a thought or feeling inot a persons head, manipulating the thoughts a bit. Small pushes were no big deal. It was when he did large pushes that things became dangerous, especially on minds that were unstable or very firm and not moved. The side-effect of a big push....well, he had done it only once, and he wasn't about to do it again. Besides, it took alot of energy to perform a big push. This was only a small one, something to give the guy the little boost he needed to at least compliment the girl on her talent.
