((It's just magic. Regond can do a bit more with light energy than just summon swords; he's a seasoned war veteran. Or, at least... that's what I thought.))

"Crap," Shef muttered, already backing away from the relative safety of Reign's fat... tail. Shef still had no battle sense, and would have turned to bolt for his life, had he not just stepped into the same God-forsaken gopher hole. Shef tripped and fell into the grass, where he was probably safest.
((Uh-huh, but Regond is weakened. Cue Reign and Narissa!))

We are IN LOVE WITH BLOOD
Buried in sand.
Revered by man.
See if you can.
Chop off your hand.
I DARE YOU TO-
"I think I love you even more now than I did when you were alive." Reign snarled, and raised her head, howling an ear-splitting cry. Falian used her amazing strength and flexibility to flip backwards over the Shadows at the noise, feeling Reign's rage course through her. Snatching Shef by the waist, she dived through the Shadows just as they launched forwards, hitting the dirt and rolling with Shef pressed against her. At the same time Reign powered herself upwards over the Shadows, easily clearing them as they went downwards and landing away from them, whirling to face them again. "Cowards!" She barked, hackles raised. "Attacking in groups! How dare you!"((If I remember correctly, Guardians can't use their true powers unless in their Ether Form while they're in the human realm, correct? That's why I typed what I did. If they could, I would've written something totally different. xd )) We are a people that are obsessed with Death.
Killing each other without regret.
Watching as the blood always splatters wet,
It is time for us now to be put to rest. -SWALLOW THE FILTH
I KNOW YOU WANT TOTainted by BLOOD DIAMONDSYou know you're a monster when

((Sorry guys, got grounded. I can only post once without getting caught, but I'll try and keep the story moving along sad ))
Holly's gaze turned sympathetic as she heard about his dad, but before she could say anything, dark shadows surrounded them.
"Narissa?" she cried out, her voice wavering. Falian and Reign seemed to know what to do, but Holly had never encountered these things before. "What do I do?"
((Two things. Guardians and the Guarded {right?} can speak telepathically, correct? And...
Is it quite alright if I say she's never had to fight before? Because she doesn't know about her powers just yet...))

((Not telepathy.))
((Guardian's True Forms are supposed to be Ether-only. Or at least, it's well-advised to be Ether only. Otherwise you end up with a useless Guardian. And all powers, Guardian or Guarded, are reduced on Earth. Stronger in Ether.))
Shef probably said all manner of sounds and noises as he flinched in fear, doing nothing... as the girl saved him with an ease of movement and effort not possible, as far as Shef knew. Special powers... he had to keep the special powers in mind.
((Attention! Gateway in my previous post is INVALID. New Gateway to be posted! Thank you.))

Calentine had found no one of importance in the farm-ranch. He had not even been seen as he studied the two elderly people within. Neither could be Araham the Old, however, because both were happy. Araham was a being who could never be happy again....
If he wasn't searching for Araham, then Calentine knew not what his goal might be. Slowly, the young warrior made his way through seemingly endless forest. He was absolutely sure of his direction, however--the unmoving, unspeaking reptile draped across his shoulders told him as much.
And he himself could See it.
The Gate was a large, moss-covered stone archway standing in the center of an old, lifeless garden. This garden used to be tended, perhaps once decades ago, in the middle of forested wilderness. By whom, or for what purpose, remained unknown. The garden was overrun by weeds and ivy, and of the few flowers that still existed there, were only few at all. No fruits or vegetables grew there, if at one time they ever did.
This stone arch was the Gate, and with the aid of a willing or unwilling Guardian, could open the Gateway between Earth and Ether.

Dante Darvocet walked off campus, waving goodbye to his friends. He didn't really care about the end of the school day, he had other things to do. He ran home, only stopping to pick up a snack. Dante panted as he entered his room. "Holy crap, I'm tired. Not tired enough to not go to Ether, that is, Sleipnir, but tired. I'm gonna need a rest."
Sleipnir sighed. "Make it quick. I still don't understand you humans and your limitations."
Dante sat on his bed, and took a sip of Root Beer, which he had bought earlier that day.

Holly backpedaled a few steps, her eyes on the shadows before her.
"What are you doing?" Narissa hissed in her ear. "Use the water!"
"Where?!" Holly shrieked, looking around her. She was planning on adding a lake to her painting, but there was no such body of water to be seen.((I'm gonna say a limitation on Earth is that she has to have water to use, she can't just summon it like in the Ether... Sorta... That alright?))

((Oh? A fresh face! Welcome, Yerozuya! I'll check your profile.))
((And gimme a sec, Z! I'll get a new enemy.))
-----
Regond squawked as he dodged another swipe; he was getting tired again.
"Shef!" he yelled, "The swords! Use the swords!"
He backed into Reign and smiled.
"Well, my friend, it seems that we need your help after all." he said.
-----
"Fools. Eliminate the threat."
All at once, the Shadows melted into the ground, shifted toward each other... and mixed together. The great mass of darkness that was once the Shadows rose upward and took it's form... revealing a ferocious, boar-like beast with crimson-red hair. The beast roared and rushed toward Shef, completely ignoring the others and rushing towards the boy and his Guardian.
-----
"SHEF!!!" screamed Regond as he flew to the boy's rescue.

Shef was currently being hefted by a berserk Falian. "I-I'll try!" He replied, closing his eyes and focusing. He began to push his will and his consciousness... harder... harder....
Two things happened. First, Shef passed gas. Second, he sent three swords flying in different directions. One blasted into the ground. Another clipped Regond's tail feathers in half. The third gave Falian a haircut.
And the fart stunk.
