A girl's laughter was heard as Michael passed a few alleys..then in one of them popped out a girl wearing a white ski mask and held a chainsaw.."One,two..I'm coming for you.." She sang then went back into the shadows and suddenly was in another alley popping out. "Three,four..you better watch the floor.." She sang and again went back into the shadows of that alley to appear in another. "Five,six..you better listen to your heart tick.." She sang and repeated the same moves as before. "Seven,eight..cause here I am the key to the gate.." She sang this time skipping into another alley behind him then appeared in another. "Nine,ten..cause you will never breath again.." She sang once more and her laughter echoed as she disappeared again this time not coming out....

Leon nodded at his old friend "yes she probally would" he chuckled at that and then drifted for a moment and said "yes we should" he sighed "that last battle took alot out of all of us" he sighed at the thought of it before nodding "yes that sounds like a good plan"

Alex smiled at Artemis "i know i can't believe this we get to go on an adventure with two of the world's greatest heroes!!" Alex was soo excited he didn't think about how dangerous the red empire could be or anything like that

Artemis laughed and nodded. "Yup, we get to work with Leon and Mathias, two of the six people that basically ended the war against the Red Empire." He toyed with his staff, excited to get to use his powers alongside a master again.

Mathias looked at the two kids. "Think they're able to take life, Leon?" He asks as he walks over and reaches out for Artemis's staff. "May I see this?"

Artemis nods, handing his staff to Mathias. "Of course you may, Mr. Mathias."

Mathias lifted the staff and spun it, feeling the flow of the staff's magic as he moved it. He handed it back and smirked. "You trained with Master Kavar, didn't you."

Artemis gasped. "HOW..how did you know?"

Mathias smiled and shook his head. "That's a tale for another day. Now is not the time. Are you two willing to take life to save your own?"

Artemis was silent for a moment. He nodded, staring at the fire. "Yes, I think I can too." He twirled the staff and stood up, getting ready to move out.

Mathias looked from Leon to Alex and back. "Once the two camps are taken out, we'll meet in the center of the main camp and unleash our attacks." He pulled the hood over his head and smiled, his eyes turning black and glowing with energy.

Artemis shivered slightly at the sight of such raw power from Mathias, and he wasn't even attacking yet. Artemis created his usual iceboard and a small wave under him.

Einon was still practicing with his mom and sister when he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He groaned and fell to his knees. "Owww. That..that's strange. It felt like a huge spike of pain reached in and squeezed my heart. Ahhh."

Mathias got on his own shadow wave and he and Artemis went to the other camp. He led the kid to the far side of the camp and nodded in the direction Artemis should go. Mathias broke off from the kid and began slashing at the people near the edge of the camp. Artemis took the direction Mathias had indicated and began fighting a few of the soldiers, using ice as arrows and hitting soldiers, killing them. Artemis detatched his feelings, understanding that it was necessary. When Mathias and Artemis had finished the camp, they moved to the rendevous point in the middle of the main camp.

Mathias smiled. "You two really seem capable. And Artemis, your VERY skilled. You were taught very well in water magic." He looked around and chuckled. "They have no idea what is about to happen, my friends."

Artemis clenched his fist around the staff, ready to help again. "Nope, they don't know that they are all going to die."

Mathias sighed and looked at the boy. "Rage is good, but guard against it consuming you. What we do is protecting the world from tyranny again." He nodded at Leon and Alex then ran down one street, taking out every solider he saw.

Artemis heard what Mathias said and let it sink in. Then he took off down a different street, using ice as well as sealing people in giant bubbles of water and crushing others with waves.

Mathias had finished his street and turne, a large group of soldiers in front of him. He laughed and sheathed his sword. "It's been a long time since I've had a fresh meal." Mathias extended his claws and leaped at the soldiers, viciously attacking them and draining them dry. He stood up, blood dripping from his fangs.
