Lorien sort of smiled. "Well it's nothing too bad. Have you had ice cream before? It has no more sugar then that." She shook her head. "Although we can eat other things besides that. It wouldn't be much of a ship if it was that way only serving flan."

Maximus perked his ears. "Yes, I've had ice cream before!" He said, tail wagging. He wasn't allowed much usually, but it was quiet yummy.
He sniffed the air, smelling more food as the scents became stronger. "Is that... beef?"

Lorien giggled. "Well I guess it can't be too bad then." She paused for a moment and sniffed the air as well. "Um..." She continued to sniff. "Yes...I believe it is, but there's something also there I think..." Lorien smirked. "Want to go?" Forgetting her manners she darted towards the dinning hall since she was hungry.

There were few times Maximus would ever forget his manners. Apparently, seeing Lorien excited was one of them. He laughed and darted after her down the hall, chasing the rising scent of food. He slowed when he reached the dining room, hopping a bit as he took it in. "This is bigger than the house's dining room!" He said in eager suprise.

Lorien nodded her head. "Yeah although I don't know where to start. It all looks so delicious from here." She looked over the place. "Now what to get? Do you want a buffet or sit down fancy meal?"

"What?" He looked over curiously. "I don't know..." He looked back and forth a few times before hearing a soft whistle.
"Over here puppies!" An exuberant waitress called to them. "We have a special spot for our canine buddies!"
Maximus groaned. First they were doggies, now they're puppies! Seriously! He grumbled about the disrespect before heading over to follow the waitress to a room with a special bar of it's own.
The bar had tiny sample size bowls for them to smell, and buttons to push if they liked what they saw. Then a plate would emerge at one end with whatever they wanted on it. He saw meats, gravies, hard food, bones, even peanut butter crackers!
"Good gods, this place is fancy." He said to Lorien, feeling a bit overwhelmed and out of place.

Lorien cocked her head a bit confused by the puppies. "Um...we're grown wolves." She shock her head since she knew it wouldn't matter.
Lorien's eyes went crazy as soon as she saw the bar. "Goodness...they just made this ten times harder. Now what to get what to get." She frantically paced back and forth trying to think of what would be the perfect meal.

Maximus was silently inspecting the food when he heard Lorien. He had to laugh. "How about we narrow the field a bit? Don't get anything that you've never heard of."

Lorien nodded her head. "That sounds good, although I think I might go for some sort of vegetable dish or soup."

Maximus cocked his head. "Do you eat soup a lot? I wonder if they have any." He looked around for soup until he spotted a delectible picture of a lamb dish. Distracted, he eagerly pushed the proper buttons, listening to the soft hum of the machine. He added some corn as well before pushing the finishing button. "I'll get us a spot. Come on over when you're ready." He said as the waitress from before grabbed his plate for him.

Lorien nodded her head before making a quick look over the menu. "Well I tend to eat a vegetarian lifestyle since I'm an earth elemental. Plus I was raised like that." She then picked out cream of potato soup with brocoli and cheese on the side. "There...that should work for me." She knew this probably wasn't the best thing to do, but she created some vines to carry it over for herself. She then put it up on the table before climbing up to sit on one of the seats.

Maximus watched Lorien walk herself over and smiled with interest. "That looks useful. I can cause earthquakes and make rocks come up from the ground, but that won't do me much good out here." He said with a smirk, digging into his meal.

Lorien looked up from her meal. "Really? All earth elementals can perform that type of trick or bend the earth to its will." She swallowed some more of the soup. "However I ended up with the plant portion of the element earth." She looked a bit shocked by his ability. "Really? Whoa...well I definitely wouldn't want to cross you as my enemy."

Maximus shrugged. "I suppose I might be considered an... earth elemental, but I'm restricted to rock manipulation." He looked up in suprise. "Enemy?" He chuckled. "You are far to sweet to have an enemy of anyone around here. Especially me."

Lorien stretched out a bit. "I guess..." She went to drink some more soup before looking back up at what he said. "You think? Although some can end up with enemies without even trying."
