Even though Nate didn't notice Amy shaking her head, He did notice Mr. Carpenter smile. Nate told himself to find out when Mr. Carpenter's birthday was and to get him a gift. As for Amy, He just couldn't wait untill that night. He was so estatic that tonight he had a date with his new girlfriend. So Nate sat there bouncing his head away as a new song bounced through his head, this time it was a song from the Renaissance Period.
(Renaissance is my favorite time period for music.....EVER!!!!!!!!

Amy was starting to get impatient. "Well we can't just sit here and do nothing! What do we do til thursday?" Much unlike normal students, she couldn't stand it when there was nothing to do for the day. She got really bored really easily.

Kari let out a 'hmmm' noise as the other kid's minds began to wander. "We could...review the past shows." She said, with a shrug. "You know, to see where we went wrong, where we went right...who needs to work on their flip-flops and backward laterals..." She leaned back against her chair, and gently drummed her fingers on Aggy's bell. Personally, she always loved doing flip-flops. Even if they weren't always the easiest things in the world to do.

"yes" Luna agreed to Kari. "Maybe, we could watch past shows and we can see what to fix and do something about it this year. don't you think so?" She asked everyone.

"I agree. I mean it is better to see what can be improved." Nate started to tap lightly on Amy's fingers the song stuck in his head. Now a song from Hello, Dolly! Motherhood march, he thought it was called.
((Day One of our production of Hello, Dolly! is over. and as previously predicted.....I AM TIRED AND SORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gonk gonk but oh well it was fun))

**AH! We have our first show tonight of The Pajama Game. I'm so excited!**
David looked around. "Does anyone know where he kept the tapes of the previous shows? I haven't found anything yet but I haven't had much time to look through the room."

"Umm....Probably in the draw labeled past marching shows in the office?" Nate didn't mean to get smart but a 3rd grader could figure that one out. There was a drawer that was labled las shows. Nate had viewed many of thier past shows for the same reason they were now. Plus he sometimes made the drill better, just out of boredom.

David smiled at the student. "Thank you..." he glanced down at the roster, "Nathen". He walked into the office and sat at the desk turning to the drawer that was labeled. He pulled out a few of the later shows.

((I triumphantly return! Man, maybe there's a downside to having a facebook account after all.... -_-;; wink )
Lyra simply sat there, enjoying the spectacle as she contemplated different things that they could do with the show. Of course, examining past shows was always a good idea. Ideas could easily be modified and changed and who didn't always need to improve on something?

Kari glanced at the cloak as she waited for their teacher to return. Well, playing was definitely out of the question for that day, wasn't it? Meh. It didn't really matter. All the planning was kinda fun too. Kari unhooked her neck strap from Aggy, and let out a yawn. Maybe she'd stick up a conversation with the Tenor Sax player...

((This is partially to bump and also to see if the flip flop thing is the same for me- is that when you start off marching forward do a lateral slide to the left, backwards, backwards march, right lateral slide, then forward and forward again? I think that's our flip flop and we have to march it factory style when we have band camp.))

((Aaaaand, bump. Yup, we do ours for 8 counts usually. Except when we exhibited at Indy. We had a limited space to work with, so we had to do it every 4. O.o Major confusion, lol.))
