Dion smirked. "If were paying any kind of attention, then you know i'm sticking with you. I ******** up, and i'm not leaving your side until I feel i've redeemed myself. So, if you want to keep trying to get to me to leave, good luck." Dion informed her. "Besides, we've gotten too damned far into this teamwork thing to just drop it out of hand. And while I agree with you on humanity in general, there are those of us who are the execption to the rule. Thanks to you, I'm now one of 'em. Now if your ready, shouldn't we go aead and get the blood letting over with?" Dion told her, adjusting himself for the now all too normal bite from Kel.

Against her better judgement, Kelbora resigned herself to keep her promise of not verbalizing any more chances to escape this dark fate. He had chosen a path most are forced to take, well...so be it.
However, she didn't have to like it.
WIthout warning, Kelbora lunged forward and became a black blur before slamming into Dion in a flash. The vampire had Dion against the far wall, making a small crater in the center as she painfully hyper-extended his neck to the right, exposing the pale skin of his throat. Using her other arm, Kelbora wrapped the limb around his torso, pinning his arms to his sides as her nails dug into his flesh. It looked like a vigorous embrace, but it was really a paralyzing body hold used to immobilize prey at close range. Its what a normal vampire would have done, hunted like and animal and have been just as vicious.
And then, like a viper, her head shot out and fangs dug into Dion's neck.
She didn't use any endorphins or nerve disrupting pheromones as she had been during previous bites. This time she wanted him to feel pain, to induct him into this world he'd chosen and to show him just how much she hated being apart of ushering him into it. Blood poured from the reopened wounds at his neck, and sweet, coppery life filled the vampire like a godly elixir. She could taste the natural chemicals produced by adrenaline, from the shock, and fear, she could taste the human body's attempt to neutralize the pain and failing because of the vampire saliva.
Dion wouldn't understand her words, but he would understand pain.
If the VCF caught them, if they took this human Wastelander associating with vampiric assassins, they would do this to him, several at a time. But instead of stopping before he dropped, they would keep going before either leaving him at the point of death, to do it over and over again until he talked, or rip his throat out. That was if he was lucky...If caught, she and Faer would endure something much worse.
Death would be a luxury.
When Kelbora felt Dion's skin cooling, and his muscles laxing after being tense for so long, Kelbora slid her fangs out of his skin and gave the twin punctures a quick sweep of her tongue, to close them, and then suddenly let him go.
She'd taken enough, quickly enough, that standing would be damn near impossible, but she didn't stop to offer support whatever the case may be. She simply whipped her lips with a pass of her thumb and looked at him with glowing green eyes. Sated vampiric eyes.
"Welcome to hell," She said quietly.
She only lingered a moment longer before turning on her heel and heading out of the room, leaving Dion to either recover or follow.
She never intended to do something like that again, not to Dion at least, but she had to make sure he understood. She had little doubt he wouldn't, warriors rarely spoke with words, but monsters spoke in blood.
And she'd been loud and clear.

Dion was expecting her to walk to him, but instead, she rushed him, causing him to slam into the wall, leaving a visable dent in the cement and metal covering. Then he was pinned onto the wall, his neck yanked to the left to give her a clear shot to his neck, and then hte pericing of his neck, with no sedatives of any kind, made his body go into combat mode, with her holding him down like she was, he was utterly helpless. While he knew Vampires were faster then humans, nothing in hte records said anything about becoming a blur!
Then hte pain of his blood being forceably drained from him arrived, and his body began to attempt to work harder at releasing itself, but instead allowed it to be drained even faster, and Dion attempted to quell his mind enough to stop struggling. Suddenly he realized just what might have happened to all the people they had go MIA.
As more and more of his blood was drained away, he felt himself weakening, and slowly began to drift into unconscienceness, when Kelbora stopped and let him go. As she let go, his boots touched the ground, but due to hte lack of blood, he had no strength to hold himself up, and slammed into the floor onto his side. He couldn't feel his limbs, and could barely hear a thing, but the sudden arrivial of a couple of pairs of hands helping him to sit up, though barely registered, helped him stay awake.
"Sir! Sir, are you alright!? SOMEONE GET THAT DAMNED VAMPIRE IN HERE NOW! We'll get the b***h for ya Sir, I can gurantee it!"
"No... Don't follow her or that order... I'll be fine." Dion ordered, as he began to feel his limbs again, far faster then any normal human should, even with his slightly unusual background. "I'll be fine. Just tell me which way she went." Dion demanded, even as he lifted himself off the ground, a bit unsteady at first, but regained his balance quickly. Once he was told which way Kelbora had gone, Dion left the room, and went to follow her.

Each brisk boot step was punctuated by the screams and shouts of a growing number of Wastelanders filling the large auditorium area where the vampiress was walking. Several were the one's who had been waiting outside when she slammed the door in their face their face, and they were calling for back up as some filed into the bedroom and found Dion drained and floored.
He would be up soon, she could feel his energy rising ever so slowly as his newer, stronger body began pumping more adrenaline and cell rebuilding proteins into his blood.
Kelbora felt Dion's blood making her human in appearance again, but after having experienced this twice before, Kelbora was able to burn off the side effects to the blood and retain her vampiric form. She heard several people shouting warnings and pointing guns at her from behind, but she ignored them.
Dion was shouting orders for them to stop, and she continued walking.
She wanted to leave, but before that she had to ask Bartz something...she needed to know where they stood as far as allies in Europe and where Nemesis and his forces were concentrated.
She wasn't much for "meanings in dreams", but the previous one she had while resting unnerved her. The only powerful hunters on her tail that she knew of were the mercenary Aida and Nemesis.
Guess which one she was betting on being mentioned in that dream?
Her ears pricked as she head Dion's weary, but familiar foot steps coming up behind her. Considering the haste in her step, Dion was catching up very well. He was evolving at a rapid rate, but to what she couldn't tell.
"I need to speak to Bartz," She said without slowing down or turning around.
Short, sweet, and to the point.

Dion sighed. "He'll either be in his office, or in the command chamber. Why do you need to speak to him right now?" Dion asked, finally catching up to her. She didn't seem at all surprised he ahd caught him, and truth tell, Dion was surprised he was able to. At least his orders were being carried out, and no other Wastelander was attempting to stop Kelbora, but that might also be in part because of Dion's presence.

Glein Inside the heart of Hill Air Force Base, Wastelander Air Force, the young tech who was the link between the base and SATCOM located in Cheyane Mountain, was hunched over his consol, listening intently to his Ear Comm. "SIR! SATCOM is reported enemy spotters on our northern ridgelines, and a enemy bomber squadron inbound from south-south-west." The tech reported, relaying SATCOM's data, with the screen showing the battle updating in real time."Thank you Conrea" General Drake said, seeing hte advancing red dots being bogged down in the valley, and knew, whoever was in charge was going to attempt to cook his men out. While not the exact same tactics as last time, they were similiar enough. "Colonel, inform the troops to hunker down, but keep up haressing fire. Don't activate the next line of turrets until the bombers have been cleared." he stated, looking at a man in the standard infantry's uniform for the Wastelander Army. The man nodded, and spoke into his Magitech headset, relaying the orders.Almost immediately, the defences seemed to slacked, even the turrets returning to their storage position. The Wastelander forces seemed to be waiting for something, and that was clear enough even to Nemisis. While the Imperial Spotters were finally in position, A wastelander sniper was already putting a bead on the man. A spiff of air sounded as the sniper pulled his trigger, and the first of the 2 man spotter team dropped, his head erupting in a fountian of gore and brain matter. However, the other spotter had seen teh flash of the muzzle, and was bringing his rifle to bear and firing even as the sniper finished chambering the next round in his clip into the barrel. The sniper slumped forward, his rifle aimming at the sky as a formation of ORCA Fighters began to buzz in slowly widening circles, staying behind the ridge-line.General Drake sighed. "Inform the Fighter Wing to prepare to intercept those bombers, but not until they are right on top of the valley. We can't risk getting them caught in the crosshairs of the AA guns the Empire should be certain to have brought." He stated, pointing this comment to the other jumpsuited officer in hte command center.(Give me a few moments Xel, and I'll have the Imperial and Wastelander Bombers up for us to use.) The spotters had been ambushed but training and superior reflexes proved the victor, though there were a few casualties from the wastelander's precision fire.New information began to trickle, then pour in as the spotter's relayed coordinates directly to the Fire Direction Center, carrying on despite comrades lying by their sides in gruesome states.
One of the spotter teams relayed a fresh target, what appeared to be a series of relays on the south side of the base, close to the hangers
"Battery adjust!Azimuth 4800!Shell H.E!Charge 1!Fuse quick!"The soldier rattled off the numbers, wiping sweat from his eyes while he readjusted the scopes sight, zeroing in on the relays"3210,648!""Coordinates received!Hard Rain's gonna fall!"At the base of the valley, more armor rolled to the front, medium class armor employed by the royal guard.APC's lurched behing them, with dismounted infantry following in their wake.Nemesis watched as the bombers grew closer, unpleased with his enemy's reaction"Their giving up too easily, where are those cannons they were employing earlier?Have they vanished?..."His eyes narrowed as he gazed intently at the flight patterns of the ORCA'S,lingering behind their shield like a pack of lions trapped in a pen eager to be released.
"The enemy is cunning..he aims to wear us down,by drawing us into this valley one unit at a time."He grinned"We shall have to give them too many targets.Order the bombers on standby and rescind the airstrike.I want the tanks to lay down a curtain of smoke screen, then their to lay down suppressing fire via cannon and heavy machine guns. This base must be taken today,it has been a thorn in the Empires side for far too long!

"Ooooh, I knew I shouldn't have let myself get sidetracked!" Selene muttered to herself, finally arriving at the Imperial Palace. She hoped her sisters weren't too mad at her...she really hadn't meant to be so late! When they had arrived in Japan, she had gotten into her kimono and headed out just to walk around. With everything that had happened at the ball, she wanted some time to just get away. She had found tranquility sitting near stream under a sakura tree, away from the city, away from people. Sitting there had been so peaceful it was hard to believe she had just escaped from the scariest night of her life. In fact, it was so peaceful that she had actually managed to fall asleep. If it hadn't been for that nightmare she had, she probably would still be sleeping.
"I'm so sorry!" Selene called out as she spotted Celeste and ran up to her. "I didn't mean to stay out so long! I got distracted."

(Sorry for the delay ^.^; I got so sidetracked, it was hard to find time to post..)
Lynn had been passive the entire time she was being held, awaiting a confermation on her identity. It wasn't until someone came in tell htem to release her, and told her to report to Bartz, that she finally could release a sigh of relief. Following the man through the Groom Dry Lake Air Force Base, currently known as Purity, Lynn couldn't help but marvel at the rate of developement the Wastelanders had acheived since she had last been in a Wasteland Base. Which was close to almost 500 years ago. Once she finally reached the office in which Grand Wastelander Bartz was at, she snapped into a salute and released it when he did. "Sir, Agent Lynn Arranda reported as requesting!" Lynn barked, before smiling. "And sir, it's damn good to be back in friendly terrirtory. I hope you've been getting my reports?" She said, leaning against teh wall, as two of the people from the ball came in, both looking like they had just traveled through hell, at least in expression. "What's going on sir?" Lynn asked, looking between the 2 infiltrators, and the Grand Wastelander.

[[OOC: =>_>= Am I to assume that Kelbora and Dion are said "look like they've traveled through hell"????]]
Kelbora stopped just inside the passageway where she smelled Bartz's scent, and found the vampire nobel from the party there as well. Lynn, was her name? Regardless, Dion was behind her and she had to find Faer since the Elemental had expressed interest in accompanying them to Germany. Kelbora trusted the Elemental to be able to take care of herself no matter what, and since the woman had millenniums of life up on her, she wasn't going to argue with her survival skills.
At least one of them would be assured to survive this.
Kelbora turned her attention back to Bartz as a few very nervous, and very pissed off, Wastelanders began to slowly circle the group. Orders or not, not a single soul here trusted Kelbora, especially around their beloved leader.
Fools.
"Dion told me you were able to find a transport for us. But since we're making at least one stop along the way, I need to know the state of current affairs in the European countries and the location of the main concentration of VCF and Nemesis's troops," She said, using her usual straight forward attitude and not wanting to waste time or words, "I doubt we're getting support once we get there, but I need to know where friendly territory is located and if the other Wastelanders out there know we're coming. Its going to be difficult enough with the Empire gunning for us, I don't need your people doing the same."
The less heavily armed road blocks, the better.

Dion's eyebrow quirked when he was the vampire noble from the ball. Thankfully, next to her, was the 2D version of the Pit's map. "Looks like the old NATO nations in Europe are joining us, but that doesn't mean the VCF is totally out yet... Thankfully, looks like the whole of Germany is with us... but the rest of the old Communist Blocs are holding firm with the Empire... which means we've got a front line in the sand in Europe. Well, here's hoping the situation doesn't deteriate too much." Dion said, analyzing the map. While the nations in question may be with them, it didn't mean the VCF, the Royal Guard, or the VAF were just gonna let them go.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bartz Waltz Wasteland Grand Commander Status: 100% Mental Charge: 100% Emotional State: Harried Location: Grand Wastelander's Office, Purity Base, Nevada Current Mission: Management of hte Wastelander Cause and Force
Bartz sighed. He had been hoping to speak to Lynn alone for a little while, but he might as well get this over with. "To answer your question Lady of the Fallen, yes, RAF Lakenheith and Ramstein Air Force Base know you, Dion, and i'm assuming you want to have Faer with you as well, are going to be arriving in 2 days." Bartz said, looking over the twosome. Dion had already given the situation status, so that helped ease some of Kelbora's questions from Bartz's shoulders. But still, with the situation falling apart in the one nation that could hope to ensure the wastelanders cause, and that was the whole of North America. While it couldn't match Russia in terms of manpower or production power, it was much more effeicent in the use of both.

Kelbora frowned at the mention of taking two days. Given, compared to the day she last had to travel between the two continents by conventional means, approximately 500 years ago, it had taken almost a week. Modern technology was grand, but compared to what the Empire had to work with, two days could have been an eternity.
It could have been worse, though...at least they had survived the party to make it this far.
"Two days..." Kelbora said under her breath, looking away and mulling over the idea in her mind. Her thoughts soured, but she stifled any complaints since she knew they didn't have a choice, "It is good to hear that the landing area won't be VCF territory, but boundaries rarely stop the Empire."
Communists? Tch, one part of the past she could do without.
Kelbora looked back at Dion, "If that is all, then we need to find Faer and head for the departure area. The sooner we are out of America, the better." She said and gave one last look to Lynn before turning back to Bartz, "Thank you for what you've done, though I am distressed over how this has turned out."
It was the closest to gratitude she could come, and with a final nod the vampiress turned on heel and began to head for the hanger. The soon they were gone, the better...
She could only hope that this trip would not be in vain.

"I'm sorry." Selene mumbled before Celeste grabbed her wrist and led her to their place. When Celeste mentioned fighting, Selene frowned. "Why do you have to fight? Nemesis is capable of taking on a whole army by himself. It's so dangerous..." After the stunt the Wastelanders had pulled at the ball, she didn't underestimate them, and the thought of her sister being in the midst of a fight like that scared her. She knew Celeste was a good fighter, but still. Nemesis was powerful and had plenty of men under his command. Why would Celeste have to join in the fighting?
"Can't Father find somebody else?"

"Selene I dont like the idea anymore then you do.... But father asked me to do what i can to help since i called Nemesis away from the fight and besides if any of his troops try to get snappy at me i will just kill them...." Celeste said calmly. She looked up at her sister as sighed. "Please dont worry so much..... I am just going to try and break the wastelanders.... And father says that i owe him since i didnt keep good security at the ball last time.... You know father... Harsh untill the end..." Celeste got up and hugged her sister.
