She smiled. "Absolutely amazing, just what we needed." She smiled at him. Rikku took control of a couple trees, using them as puppets to fight off the hellspawn around her and Atrum so that he could concentrate on firing at Krious.

Jack sighed '********,' he mouthed as he switched to Dominic. Dominic turned to the new girls. "Hey! Focus, all of you. Big hellspawn over here," he said in redirection. They could introduce themselves later. Krious was big, baad, and powerful. They needed to focus on him. Dominic thought for a second. "We need an acrobatic person and some well directed light," he said before pointing a finger at both Arabella and Atrum. "I blesseth thee these gifts of power for 30 minutes," he prayed/chanted. He gave Atrum the gift of coordination and skill in the art of Acrobatics. He gave Arabella the power to freeze Rayne's water, while still allowing Rayne to control it. That weakened him plenty. Element power blessings and multiple blessings were hard to pull off. They really drained you. He knelt down from the weakness.
James concentrated on speeding up his own reactions and his attacks as he began to strike at the enemy hellspawn army. He figured that Krious, as Erik explained, would be too tough to take on right now.
Blake heard the commotion and air jumped over to there, creating invisible platforms in mid air, only long enough for him to bounce off again. He saw the darkness and smiled. "Entertainment, here I come," he whispered to himself as he began increasing speed toward the crazy fighters and their enemy.

((I don't think they were talking to our group..., why would they just walk up in the middle of a fight?))
"I gotcha." Rikku said as one of the trees scooped him up, letting him rest safely in the tree, while the tree continued swinging it's free limbs at the enemy.

Ace smiled, put away his bow and grabbed his staff from the ground.I don't need light to fight but it sure does help.He thought as he ran at Krious and jabbed at his face.

Erik wasn't concerned with Krious. If Krious decided to cover the town with darkness, then something far worse was happening. And Erik was right. Krious appeared in front of him. "Wait, aren't you fighting the elementals?" Krious laughed. "Why should I dirty my hands when Darkness can kill them for me?" The darkness started to fade, but something else happened: Several orbs of light started gathering together. Krious seemed to have read Erik's mind. "Witness what happens when souls are weaved together to form the physical manifestation of pure Darkness!" Krious disappeared, and a huge creature made entirely of darkness appeared in the center of town. Without knowing why, Erik could identify the creature: "The Greatest of the Shadowed Beings...Tanev..." Erik turned to the elementals, who were now quite perplexed by the fact they had been fighting a clone instead of the real thing. "Run! I fought that thing before, and I had an entire army behind me, and it nearly killed every last one of us! No questions, just RUN!!!" Erik knew this was no time to argue. At least it's confined to this town, so it can't chase us...

Atrum nodded, glad that he could help. But none of his arrows hit. In fact. . .the man himself seemed to dissapear! He frowned, looking around, when he was suddenly completely engulfed in access energy. It was Jack! "Alright." He said, taking out his dagger.
Immediately, he was following Ace, knowing that he was at least fast enough to keep up with whatever Krious threw at him. But he was gone again, though his aura was easy to locate again. He was with Erik and. . .
"That. . .doesn't seem like something we can fight." He gazed, wide eyed as the dark being was formed. Suddenly, Erik was screaming run, and people were screaming and such. Atrum cringed, how was he supposed to think with all of the noise?
He looked at Erik, at everyone else, and ran back, slipping into the town with his cape flowing behind him. He had to have at least the time to warn the people that were too scared to move. There had to be plenty of them. "You have to go! Get out of here, go!" He yelled, and those that heard him didn't need to be told what to do twice. People started running, zipping toward him to the town's exit. "That thing'll kill you! GET OUT OF THIS TOWN!"
He yelled, and then joined the crowd himself. . . but didn'tt hink about how he would get out with all of these panicked people pushing past him. Why do I have to be so short! "This way!" He shook his head, knowing that he'd never catch up to the other's this way. Acrobat, duh! He mentally cursted at hismelf, taking a single leap onto the roof of a building. "The exit's that way! Get out of here!"

Rikku jumped up into the tree that was holding Dominic and called out. "Atrum! Ace! Erik!" She called to the three of them. "Climb aboard! I can get us out of here!" She said as the tree lifted it's roots out of the ground and began to move, using each of the roots as another leg, giving it many legs and the ability to move fast.

Before jumping into the tree Ace rammed his staff into the ground and made a dome of darkness over the creature. "That won't hold for long, so lets go now!" Ace yelled, jumping into the tree.

Lonesome had finished packing and went to the window as he heard sceams. Looking out he saw a creature of darkness and the whole town seemed to be trying to flee from it. Cursing he walked over grabbed his pack and went downstairs to see if anyone was still around.
Looking around the main room he saw empty seats and muttered "Thanks for the heads up." as he walked back upstairs and went out the window. Everyone seemed to be in a panic and he could have sworn he saw a tree move with people in it. "This is getting insane." he whispered to the wind as he thought about what he should do. Hearing a child crying he looked down and saw that someone had either lost or left the child behind. Drifting to the ground he grabbed the child and landed on the roof of the inn. Calming the child enough to find out what happened he quickly learned that the crowd had seperated the child from his mother. Getting a description of the mother Lonesome scanned the crowd and noted a parting in the crowd as if a rock was firmly set against the current of a stream. Seeing a woman trying to get through the crowd Lonesome pointed the woman out and the child verified her as his mother. "Hold on." He said as he offered his cloak to the child and drifted them both down near the mother. With a teaful reunion and a few thank you's the pair were once again leaving the town.
Deciding to make sure everyone left safely Lonesome drifted back to the roof tops and helped people escape the town as best he could.

[[ actually i was talking to your group. i just didn't realize that you guys were in battle xP sorry. well continuing on. gonk i keep forgetting to come here so i'm always behind D:]]
Arabella and Rayne also climbed aboard the tree that Rikku seemed to be controlling. "hehe sorry. It seems like we weren't much help.." she said.

"Atrum! Erik!" She called. "Sorry about this but we have not time to waste!" She said as a pair of vines shot out of the tree and grabbed onto erik and atrum and dragged them both up into the tree. "Giddy up my rooted friend." She said controlling the tree as if it were a puppet. "So where are we headed?" She asked as they fled the city, running around buildings and over small obstacles with ease as they headed for the outer part of town.
((Sorry about the slight godmod with the vines I just didn't want to wait for a whole other round of posts to go around before we got this thing on the road.))

((Nice, that works. And don't worry about it, that's how the last Rp died, we tryed to wait for everybody to post. Anyway, on with our tale))
Dominic was glad this Earth female helped. He relaxed in the comforting arms of the trees branches. "Thank you," he whispered to the girl.
James, with his sped up reaction time quickly ran back to the tree and hopped in. He was ready for this trip. Ecspecially in a tree. For food all he would have to do is speed up the tree's growth rate and out would come apples. So he was ready.
Blake whispered, "Crap," before bending space so as to teleport himself to inside the moving tree. It wasn't hard to miss. He crouched on one of the limbs and prepared for anything.

Ace was a branch at the back of the tree, ready in case the broke his barrier quicker than he expected."If any body needs help then help them!"Ace shouted to Rikku." Head for somewere safe!"

"you guys will have to help people up into the tree, I have to concentrate on keeping it moving and, making it grow to accomodate the more people, easy tasks... but hard to do simultaneously, she said as the tree grew to accomodate every new person that climbed aboard, even a couple civilians were brave enought to climb onto this running tree.

Arabella started to climb into the upper branches of the moving tree. "What were those things?"She asked.
Rayne though of how she could move herself with the water she controlled. Although that would really wear her out. She still had a few problems controlling her powers. Rayne climbed up to the upper branches as well. She wondered if she could make the water in the tree make the tree move faster.
