The Toolness 538 remains standing the arm mounted weapon traversing to aim at her chest again. After tunneling through several people, the command was finally sent to 538, by the way of General Bryne. Execute the prisoner.

Instead, Eric took advantage of the chaos, and hacked a terminal in the hallway, downloading everything important.
Once that was done he took off running as fast as he could to the prison block. He didn't want to linger in this madhouse any longer than needed.

538 received the order his arm mounted weapon going into action and firing into Pen's chest.

Pen heard the order and reacted, though there was nowhere to run, or hide. The end result was the blast moving through her. She fell back against the wall, and slid down, a dark trail left on the wall. In a few seconds she was gone, the silver-lilac eyes going flat and empty.

His arm mounted weapon retracts back into his arms after his armor informs him of Pen's vital signs going dead. He then executes a right face and marches to the entrance of the prison block while trying to contact his CO for new instructions as well as to update them the execution was complete. "Commander this is 538 orders have been carried out requesting further instructions."

Eric darted into the cell block, hearing the weapons discharge, and ran faster, skidding to their shared cell, only to find Pen with a new and unwanted perforation through her.
For a moment, he stood, transfixed, not quite believing what he saw. When reality finally caught up with him, he fought the array of emotions building in his throat, and turned to the man leaving the block. "Who ordered this?"

The Toolness 538 pauses and turns around "General Byrne, Are you here with new orders?" "Yes. General Bryne outstepped his boundaries. The woman you just killed was needed for questioning. Now she is dead. You are to assist me in dealing with him. I need his exact location, and you are not, under any circumstance, to repeat this exchange, no matter what."

The Toolness "Was not given the General's location only the execution orders for the prisoner" Eric closed his eyes, still working back his emotions. "Back trace the source of the orders. All things life a digital footprint. Find it, trace it to it's source. Upload directly to my PDA, and then I want you to assist in my personal protection for taking control of this ship. General Bryne is a threat to the stability and future of the Kore. He must be eliminated, and you are to help me in this task."

(Svarly is far more likely to have access to that information then a 538. Hell, Svarly doesn't even have to look it up, she knows where Bryne is. Other note is that there a number of people who are still alive, or not quite dead yet. I wouldn't suggest Eric try to take over the ship. He needs to call Svarly.))

"Impossible 538 lacks ability to track communications. Orders rejected new orders already received" With that 538 starts marching off again out of the prision block.

As 538 walked outside he cam across general chaos, (though ED isn't sure if that would necessarily effect him or not). The hallways were crowded with people, some dead, some already on their way, and others running to find a way off the ship before it was too late.
Lankin and the stone had supposedly already left and safely, according to what information was able to be passed around amidst the chaos. A good chunk of the commanding force in the Kore, however, were not so lucky.

Eulalia Danae As 538 walked outside he cam across general chaos, (though ED isn't sure if that would necessarily effect him or not). Eric took off, and hid in a neglected locker room, slumping against the wall, and sliding to the floor, hanging his head. Near-suicidal rage and incredible grief threatened to overtake him, all the while he struggled to maintain a firm grip on his cool. Realizing that he wasn't going to get off this ship alive, much less sane, without help, he used the PDA to contact Svarlena, trying to choke down the emotion threatening to spill out.

Svarlena was quick to answer, "What's taking so long, Chase? Do you have my sister yet?"
