Mephlius smiled, turning to Amnity. "Well, actually..." He was going to point out that he was shot before going out to eat, but decided against it. "Nevermind."

Mephlius thought for a second. "The very second I became a-... wait... I was born a Lycan." His eyes shot open, as if he had just made a discovery that would change the world. "THAT must be why I had such a screwed-up childhood!" He couldn't help but smile and laugh quietly at his own joke.

"D'awww...No you didn't Mephlius!" Amnity walked over and gave him a big hug. "I actually think that you would be more boring if you were a human." She smiled when she put emphasis on the word more, hoping he would notice.

Mephlius smiled, and held her close. "Aww, than- HEY!" He pulled back so she could see his facial expression. "You think I'm boring?" He put on a fake frown, as if he was going to cry.

Amnity looked up at him and couldn't help but frown too. She could feel his sadness...Even if he was faking it. "No! No!...Not completely boring!" She lifted her hand up, using her index finger and thumb to measure his boringness. "...Just a liiiiiittle tiny bit...But don't worry, we'll work on that problem." Letting out a laugh, she hoped that he wouldn't notice that she was only half joking.

Mephlius let go, and paced away angrily. "Well, I guess I'll just go get shot again to make things more interesting..." He walked out the door, took three steps to the left, and stopped.

Amnity was shocked when he had pulled away. Wow...I didn't know he was so sensative... She also didn't realize that he was only joking...Maybe he isn't playing around this time... "Wait, Mephlius! No, I didn't mean it!" She wasn't going to take any chances. Quickly, she raced after him, hoping that he wasn't seriously going to get himself shot again.

Mephlius turned, and faced the doors, waiting for Amnity to burst out after him. He just stared, smiling.

"Mephlius!! Mephlius I was only kidding!" Please don't do anything stupid! Amnity burst through the doors right as Kuro called after her. She turned back to Kuro as she continued to run forward, not paying attension to where she was going. "Kuro, that isn- AH!" The hunter smacked right into Mephlius, then staggered back a bit in confusion. "Ow...F***...Meph?"

"....You mean...You weren't mad at me?..." Amnity blushed, slapping her forehead like Kuro did when they had tricked him. "Mephlius Falke!....Strike the boring thing, apparently you keep me on my toes more then my job does."
