He smiled. "Yes I did, I just moved here not too long ago." He looked at her. "Why do you ask?"

Bad question. she thought. "Oh... uhh... Just wondering," she shrugged.

He smiled. "Oh." He turned to face her. "So what is a princess such as yourself doing in a place like this?"

She froze. Did he know she was really a princess? She tryed to hide her right hand behind her back. "Too much traveling. I wanted to settle somewhere," she tryed to keep her cool.

He turned away and kept walking. "Why are you nervous? I can sense peoples emotions and I sense nervousness coming from you." He turned back to her. "My dear, are you hiding something?" He kissed her hand. "Because you honestly have nothing to hide from me." He smiled. "I an keep secrets."

She crept backwards a bit. She bumped into the wall with her hand still on the flat surface behind her.

A birth mark? That wasn't a birthmark. Well, just not an ordinary one for that matter. A star with a circle, carved into you hand, is not a normal birthmark. Anyone who is a demon should know that. In fact, they should hate where Miyuki came from. She is a Blood God for that matter.
