Skills: Trained in jungle survival from the moment she was born, hunting, fighting animals, flying from tree to tree, and until recently not much else, barely even language. After joining the military Ues entered training for a number of fighting styles, and while making good progress on a number of them is still an amateur and relies on on what her classmates and teachers have dubbed 'Jungle Brawling' most of the time. She has refused most training in firearms, seeing them as demonic objects of violence and nothing else, consuming the souls of those who use carry them; at least that's what she says, really they scare the crap out of her and she can hardly stand still enough to hit a two foot bulls-eye at twenty feet, she holds the record for the worst shot ever in the first year class. Even after a lot of practice she was no good. Luckily her jungle brawling is a pretty tough opponent, and she's quick so she's gotten by without having to shoot.

Physical Description: Ues stands 5'6", like most of her tribe she's not tall, and it's never been a problem; with dark skin and dark brownish-orange colored hair, her light blue eyes shine from a distance, especially in the moonlight. Like the rest of her, her face is compact and lean, and always seems to be a bit dirty. Ues rarely dresses in anything longer than a T-shirt and shorts, preferring tight tank-tops, generally nonrestrictive clothes that aren't likely to catch on anything, and sandals or elastic shoes that come off easily. Her second year bunk mate at the academy, having witnessed how horrible her shooting was had the thought that something more hands on would work better and made her a pair of gloves that would allow her to summon and throw a small sphere of mana in the form of fire energy, giving Ues a limited ranged ability. The energy balls don't exactly compare to a bullet, but they're still very effective.

Personality: Ues is a very overactive, hyper, and generally impulsive person. Unfortunately Ues was not beaten with the smart stick, having only learned math since joining the military, most of her skills from being raised in the forest. The tribe from which Ues hailed was very close to it's roots with the monkeys, spending a great deal of time transformed and in the trees, surviving almost parasitically off normal human tribes around them; Ues has converted to the rest of the world's expectations and now spends most of her time human, but takes every chance to go swinging through what ever's available. Beyond that she's adapted almost no etiquette and still has most of her accent, chews gum compulsively, and can't stand sleeping under a roof. Ues is basically only good for a fight, and can't wield a gun worth a damn so hopefully it's not that kind of fight, but even if it is, a childhood of falling through the thick of the forest at the slightest falter has made her tough as nails and twice as sharp. Ues has been none to hiss at people when greatly annoyed or under a lot of stress, but she's working on that.

Biography: Born deep within the Amazon River Basin to a tribe of fellow weremonkeys. They lived largely as animals, preferring their monkey forms and surviving off the bounty of the jungle, the goings on of the world outside the jungle didn't matter at all, and more often than not the other tribes in the forest just thought they were large monkeys and went off to pieces their ears or whatever. This went on for nineteen years, and then there was a particularly harsh winter, with fruit far scarcer than normal, and the migrations of prey animals thrown off tensions in the tribe were high, eventually groups split off, hostilities were initiated, fights broke out. By spring there were only seven members left in the tribe, and the spring was just as rough, floods by the river, fires on the mountain, and hunters. One bad night in the middle of a storm a pack of cats was moving through, caught wind of the tribe, and chased them for days. It was clear the jungle was no longer a place to live. Ues and her parents went to the nearest villiage and started learning to live with the rest of humanity. Her parents were content with the field work they could find but Ues was not.

So she went to the city, excited to see something new. and it was fun to begin with, and then there was the language barrier, and apparently it wasn't quite right for someone like her to just be out and about being a civilian, so she ended up in the military academy, not like she had a better place to be. They taught her English, math, and that civilized people wear clothes, among a lot of things. Now it's five years later and Ues has 'mostly' graduated, the complete lack of gunnery skills is still holding her back but they let her go out anyways.

Supernatural Abilities: In animal form Ues is about five inches shorter, covered in black fur, and faster. She goes down to 80~lb from her normal 140~lb, mostly by her muscles becoming even more lean than they normally are. With the downsizing she also gets an upgrade in reaction time, to almost twice that of her normal body. Also, claws, and teeth, and you don't want to get torn up by a monkey's claws and teeth, you might get rabies or something! Lastly she grows a tail, it goes to her ankles and is prehensile, and she is very skilled with it.
