Joker frowned, "I don't really know. I guess I was worried about you and I was trying to get away from Renna for a moment." he tried to shug, but it hut too much.

Gem sighed. "Never do that again, I'm telling you Joke. I don't need help, I'm good at what I do." She looked away for a moment "It is not like I bother you while you're trying to get a job done... We have very different was of doing things and sometimes that is not good if you want to work together." Their fighting style, personality traits, even their weaponry choices were very different and not in a good, puzzle like, way, it was like fire and ice they could not work together without one being destroyed in the possess.

Serrenedy heard a bit wht they were saying 'get away from Renna, ouch. too bad she sighed "SO-are you relly gonna kill me?"

Joker looked at Serrenedy, "I'm thinking about it, so don't piss me of any more." he looked back at Gem and sighed, "I'm sorry. I know you have a way of doing things."

Gem ignored Renna altogether and focused on Joker. "Will you promase me that you will not interfere again?" She asked and carressed his cheek with her nails. Her small smile played across her lips{Sorry will edit asap}

Serrenedy let out a cakkle, the morphine not gone yet "I wish somebody would, jimminy crickets everybody keeps saying they will, she want's you to do it...she's got you wrapped around her little finger, granted the moment she stops acting...oh well, she alredy won" She giggled agian, this time pulling out a tape recoder that looked like it had been throuh the wire. She pressed fast forward skipping, Gem's voice filtered
'He thinks that I'm bringing you back. And he does not love me, he loves who he thinks I am I was going to end your sad little life Renna, But I think I would rather take you back home so that Joker can do it him self' her laughter rang through. Serrenedy pressed fst forward agian, her own voice was heard : What do you mean, 'he loves what he thinks you are?
Gems voice continued
It's all an act. It's nothing more than a game that never ends. I have to keep him on my side, so I act in ways I think he will like He is in love that the character I portray for him
Serrenedy pressed stop, giggleing "You gotta love these things, nd keep in mind I'm to bent up to edit it this time"

Joker began glaring at Serrenedy but stopped after he heard the whole recording, "W-what... what does that mean?" he asked Gem quietly.

Gem seemed a tad in shook, she did not answer right away. "Umm." She scrambled for something she could tell him to make it seem better " What part?" She asked he could have been referring to any number of the sentences that had been played for him to hear. "Because that last part meant that I'm careful how I act around you so that I don't get kicked out." She lied openly hoping he would accept it without question but knowing that she was in trouble for real. Her hands were shaking slightly, and with very little speed she stepped back away from him, ready to run if he did anything.

"Uh?" She stammered and took another step back. "I don't know what you’re talking about Renna, I don't know what you think this proves" She said. She just wanted to be gone, that was her favorite method of getting rid of problems, running away. She had always been very good at it, but she hoped that the life she had carved out for herself here would still be able to work out. Maybe if Joker was dumb enough… no, Joker was the smartest man she knew and she could not hope that he would not realize what was going on, no mater how convenient it would be.

Dimitri woke up from his nap and stretched. He chaged out of his cloths into a pair of jogging pants and a whit muscle shirt. He grabbed a MP3 player off a desk and slipped the earphones on and stuck it into his pocket. He Tturned off his radio and urned the MP3 player on. He grabbed his knives and headed too go do some excersises in the meat freezer.
