Lithil exhaled deeply again, audibly, having held her breath for a few more seconds than last time. Her hiccups seeming to have dissipated, she gave the young man's words some thought, brow wrinkled. "Yeah, I figured it had something to do with the zombie plague and all." I mean, after that... incident, I couldn't've escaped with my life, right? And he seems pretty sure, so... maybe its something in all of us that allows us to neutralize the effects of the epidemic... Like those heterozygous sickle cell anemia genes that allows people to survive malaria. Sure, she had been paying attention in class. Science was one of her stronger subjects, anyway. So there's still a chance my family's alive, if at least one of them also has the same phenotype. The second part of information, however, caught the 'code yellow' girl off-guard. "Wha-?! Planned?!" She jerked as if electrified, stepping further back. "Buh- wha- why?" As far as she knew from the news (which, admittedly, wasn't a lot...) the city was doing quite well. Why wipe out the entire population? It didn't make any sense! She shook her head. "That's bizarre..." Still, she had given no indication as to whether she wanted to break her solace to join a group and be once again reunited with humanity.

"Mm?" Lithil turned her gaze to the sniper as he lowered his magnificent weapon, eyes trained still on the shiny gunmetal that had caught her gaze originally. Maybe it was an aftereffect of trying to reconstruct part of her brain from memory, but she didn't remember having an obsession for 'boom-sticks' before... Still. It seemed far more powerful than her pipes because as easy as they were to use when she was in 'animal' mentality, there was something to be said for being able to 'one-headshot-KO' an opponent without even touching it. "Oh, it's alright, really." The girl said absentmindedly, waving it off with a small smile. "I wasn't sure what I was, either."

Missy watched Kaz as he put his wepon down. 'Keep that gun at ready. If someone scares her she might attack.' Missy thought to Kaz knowing he would get the message. 'But dont make it look like your going to use it. I dont want her to freak out.' She added keeping an eye on Lithil.

Thestalon stepped out of the dark hole he was hiding in and stood up. Brushing down his clothes he stepped forward gingerly and asked, "So made up have we?" He stood there hoping for the best while something was nagging at him that something wasn't quite right.

Ian stayed inside the diner, finishing his breakfast. Instead of heading out to see the others, he searched the inn for useful supplies. In back room, he found a locked door labelled 'manager'. With a well aimed kick, he broke the lock. As soon as he did, he walked inside. The door bounced back on its hinge and struck him in the face, not very fast, but still enough to give him a sore nose. "Ah, strewth!" he shouted, walking inside. It was a dark room. He flipped the lights on to see an empty office. He began searching through it for anything useful. All he found was a pair of sunglasses lying on the desk, which he found odd. Shrugging, he picked them up and slid one of the arms on the collar of his shirt so they where 'clipped' to his front. Afterwards, he went to the kitchen area of the diner, still looking for useful stuff. He picked up a rather large kitchen knife, weighed it, and tossed it over his shoulder, where it clattered onto a counter. He walked back to the front, still alone as far as he could tell. Ian walked up to the barricade, sticking his head through the crawlspace. "Aye, mates?" he asked casually. "Do we 'ave a plan yet?"

"Ah, the team's assembled." Virgil said, perhaps a little loudly, watching as the last of his newly-formed 'team' stuck his head out the window. And yes, that included dodging Kaz's question.
He used that phrase to grab everyone's attention. "I think everyone's onboard...shall we head..."
And he stopped because of a low moaning sound, which quickly multiplied to many moaning noises, followed by a sharp bark every now and then.
Drawing his bass guitar, and holding it in front like a giant axe, he gave a command, "Make a circle! I think we've got company." considering there was no time for them all to get through into the diner.
To prove his point, a black figure wearing a black cloak-type thing climbed on top of a pile of cars down the street. He looked around him for support, and he got it in the form of zombies crowding around the street. Forty, fifty, sixty zombies of the slow moving kind. The cloak billowed around the leader type, displaying a pale, whole creature.
And of course, if the mind readers got to 'feel' the zombies, the only thing they could sense would be an overwhelming hunger for flesh, only held back in check by fear of the leader.
Virgil gazed at the small army gathered at the group, and issued one last command: "Somebody with a gun, take out the one in the cloak!" At that moment, the leader decided to unleash his horde.
They lumbered forward with surprising speed. Virgil's grip on his guitar tightened as they closed in, with the leader-zombie standing in the back, watching as his horde dd his dirty work.
[OOC]Yeah, another I Am Legend reference: the cloak-wearing zombie is like one of the stronger zombies. Debating to give him a color power. Probably Red.[/OOC]

Lithil could sense the tension amidst her apparently new 'group'- seems it was decided for her, that she would travel with this pack of mismatched survivors as steely-reserved as she was. It was obvious they still didn't trust her wholly, and in perhaps some kind retaliation neither did she they. Blinking as two further people strode forth from the shelter, both as tall as each other, her sizing up of the team instantly halted upon the arrival of- Prey! Her mind instantly de-evolving to the predatory instinctual set, she made a last-ditch attempt to protect her new comrades by pointing herself towards the zombies as targets instead of the unaffected. She was amidst the hoarde within breathing-time, hands ablur as her whumming pipes took out drone after drone, making her way through the thronging, groaning mass like a metal-wielding tornado. Bodies slammed into the cobblestones as over their heads she flew, and under the new clothes you could make out muscles that weren't there originally rippling under her thigh skin, working hard to power her high-speed attacks. Mind-readers would only detect bloodthirst within her new killer stage.

"Ah, crap." Ian said, crawling through the barricade. "Move over, move over..." he said, pushing his way through the crowd. He kneeled at the curb, and shouldered his rifle. Bam. A single zombie fell in a glorious explosion of blood and brain. Bam. A second one fell. He then heard Virgil's order. "The one in the cloak, eh..." he mumbled, sighting him in. Bam. The creature in the cloak whipped to the side just in time to dodge. "What the bloody ********!" Ian yelled, taking aim again. Bam. He missed clearly that time. Click. Ian pulled the trigger dumbly three times before he saw the bolt pulled back. He fumbled with an interior pocket on his jacket, pulling out a clip and starting the reloading process.

Missy pulled her pistol out of her pocket and without looking shot down one of the zombies. Then after seeing Ian miss the cloaked zombie she took aim. She fired three shotseach to a different side. She made contact but the damn thing didnt fall. "What the hell is it! I hit it already, it should be dead!" Missy hissed as the zombie moved closer. She yanked out her Japanese fighting stars and threw them cutting through the cloak but never hitting the zombie. "Uh guys, I dont like this. I dont like this at all." Missy said while holding her pistol and shooting random bies injoying the squishy sound it made when the zombie hit the ground.

Pausing a moment in her blood-bath carnage, Lithil raised her predator head from the 'feast', hands stained to the elbows with infected blood, her pipes bent at acute angles from tough skulls. The gunshots disturbed her carnage-wreaking and like a beast awakening from sleep, her head came back up and turned to gaze upon her teammates and their imminent opponent. Pausing a moment to regain her ability to think, she aimed a thought specifically for those she was certain could read minds. She wasn't sure why, but she just knew. Keep fire at ghost-man. I smash from behind. Yes? She began bashing her way once again through the crowds, this time towards the cloaked one.

Virgil had his hands full. Using the reach and weight of his bass guitar, he wreaked havoc to all the zombies he could reach. And as the encircling mob could tell you, that number was going to be high.
Keep fire at ghost-man. I smash from behind. Yes?
Sounded like Lithil, and it was waiting to be received. The blue-haired boy nodded, and switched his 'axe' to a one-handed hold near the body. Going defensive with the weapon, he drew his magnum and tried to steady his aim at the lead zombie being shot at.
He fired one shot, and heard the click click click of empty chambers. He put the gun away, not willing to reload as multiple zombies got within clawing range. Shouting obscenities as he whirled back on the offensive with his 'axe-alike', not letting anything within four feet of him, Virgil paid no attention to Lithil's request. Not that he could anyways.
But with the bullets whizzing at him from multiple directions, the creature leading the pack of zombies did something...unexpected. He, for sure it was a he, shot his hand forth, which had begun to glow a deep red. Energy coursed through the creature once, then ripped it apart to create a new one: a giant white wolf.
Recalling the information he found at the government building, Virgil thought to himself, Is this what they meant by 'Entities'? as he got himself a good look at the monster by uppercutting a zombie with his bass, sending both over his head. The wolf was comparable to a werewolf of lore: Giant, Powerful, and that case of 'holy-s**t-what-the-hell-is-that-supposed-to-be?'
